She was very accommodating and FAST! She definitely did not sacrifice quality. I've tried a few places in DC prior to this and tried EWC. They all did an okay job but still left me with one or two hairs remaining. This lovely woman was thorough and gentle. Support a small minority- and woman-owned business, you won't regret it. I have learned so much since coming to her that I was doing wrong and have been getting waxed for years. She taught me that I was over exfoliating and less is more basically. I usually go to the Reston EWC and always have great experiences, but my recent visit to the…read moreCourthouse location was very disappointing. The front desk associate was amazing -- so kind and professional -- but my waxer, Uka, provided one of the worst services I've had. She explained the wax wasn't cooling because the building was so hot, but the wax itself was way too hot and very uncomfortable. She didn't apply pressure after removing strips, which made it especially painful, and went over the same areas of skin more than four times. I've been getting waxes for over 10 years and have never had this type of reaction from my skin -- I left red, irritated, and sensitive for days, and even then not all of the hair was removed. Unfortunately, I would not recommend booking with Uka at this location.
