It seems like forever and a day that Bojangles was demolished and then remodeled. But when they opened the line has been wrapped around the building! I really can say all of Summerville really missed Bojangles! So I've gone at least 3 times in one week and each time my service was different but the same. So I'll go and get the supremes combo and my son a 2pc tender. Each time I left there, they have forgotten something! Imagine going all the way home with your meal and you have no sauce for your tenders?!? How frustrating, would you be? Now you have to eat dry tenders! Another thing I noticed is a lot of the employees on their phone when having to bring out the customers food, I just think that's unprofessional. Is that why I'm missing my honey mustard sauce? Next time I'll make sure to check my actual box. And not take their word for it. Food is still good though but gotta make sure you put items in the box . read more

Got in the drive through line with 2 cars ahead of me...it took 15 minutes for those two cars to have their orders taken...there were no other cars in front of them. I got to the order kiosk and waited....and waited....so I said "Hello" and was told someone would be with me shortly...I waited another 10 minutes and drove off. 25 minutes absolutely wasted for no reason whatsoever. I'll never eat at Bojangles again...the service is non-existent. read more

Never has chicken ready or is out of chicken , and if you ask for chicken it's 45 mins or more wait .

Horrible experience and Drugs. We went through the drive thru sat night. When we got to the window, there was a horrible smell outside. Weed. We had to pull up to wait on bo rounds(18 min). There were 5 employees out back smoking weed. Blatantly. It was like they did not care about anything. I tried contacting the store and corporate and no one has contacted me. I guess they do not care. Drugs do not belong in kitchens with people cooking. Period. The food was awful. I pitched most of it and ate a sandwich. Do not waste your money here. read more

I hate Bojangles off of Main Street in Summerville sc. They are rude and sloppy. However, my family loves them and it's the closest to our house. Now I have to give the devil its due and say their grilled chicken sandwiches are the really good and the bo berry biscuits are too mouthwatering to die for. On this particular day we go, and they are out of grilled chicken. seriously you're a chicken place. If this was a onetime event, I would be ok cool. But for weeks now I have gone there for bo berry biscuits for the office or family, and they are constantly out. It's always something they are out of. I don't understand how this constantly happens, unless the manager can't do their job properly and can't do inventory. Do Better Bojangles read more

Even though I love Bojangles, this location has to be the worst that I have ever been in. For starters, they ran out of spicy chicken at 11 am. Seriously?? I told her that I was willing to wait for her to fry me some more, but she said they didn't have any at all. How is this possible? Further, why are you still open? Since I was still craving fried chicken, I ordered the mild chicken. My chicken was not even hot. It's like the heating lamps just stopped working all together. The ONLY reason they get two stars, my french fries were decent. I guess, it's hard to mess up french fries, eh? read more

JUST NO!! Incompetent and rude employees and management is simply nonexistent! Order is never correct and always overcharged! Done.

Horrendously rude staff. I've unfortunately been through their drive through several times but no longer willing to take the punishment. It's hit or miss whether or not someone will say anything when you get up to the speaker. If you're patient but eventually cave in after a full minute or two and ask "hello" you'll get yelled at. They are perpetually out menu items...pick one...even out of chicken from time to time. Of course, you won't know that until you spend 20 minutes getting up to the speaker. At the window it's no better...very rude employees, never a smile or thank you...more of a sneer that you're bothering them by being there. read more

This is a breakfast place that also serves lunch and dinner. Obviously they push the chicken, but the biscuits are where it's at. read more

Honestly, this store doesn't even deserve a 1 star. It blows my my mind how people just hire anybody these days, and don't instill structure because of head count. Really though, how hard is it to ring up the right order and make sure your customers are getting the right food? It's not. They make it hard on themselves. Pretty sure all of them are on drugs. But long story short, there was no wait and the employees here rang me up for the wrong food, forgot certain items, AND didn't refund me for over charging me for someone else's order. Dumb people man. I really hope this store goes down because the people working there aren't quality. read more

Stopped here while passing through. Went through drive through ordered my food no napkin,no straw,no ketchup I sat there waiting told the girl at the window and she started slamming things around like how dare I ask for stuff. Begrudgingly got a straw and some ketchup slapped into my hand no napkins. I left chicken was overcooked and cold as ice. Fries were hot but no spices on them. Will remember not to stop here next time I'm in town. read more

Ordered on the app and chose curbside pickup since I had a sick child with me. App said it would be ready at 11:20am and it wasn't. I continued to wait and wait because I didn't want to bring my sick son inside. The whole time the drive through was going so quick and finally at 11:50am I went through the . No apologies, no reasoning of why, instead I got cold ass food. read more

My son got food from here and there was a long brownish blond hair in his food. I called and spoke to one of the managers and informed her there was a brownish blond hair in my sons food and she argued me down insisting that no one works at their restaurant with that type of hair. Very unprofessional and was unwilling to give my son a refund even though we offered to take the food back and show her the hair. Will never get my business. Unscrupulous and unsanitary and unprofessional!!! read more

Absolutely the worst Bojangles ever. I've been from one side of this country to the other. And the worst one has to be in the town I live in... they never have anything and blame it on "covid" and the "food shortage" when every other Bojangles near by has the full menu. I've pulled up there at 7pm and gotten yelled at that they're closed and I can stop sitting at the speaker box. They're rude and the food is the worst I've ever had. Don't ask for anything extra like a straw or extra honey mustard. The staff will absolutely come unglued. Don't waste your time going here. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I literally don't ever leave reviews but I think everyone needs to be aware before eating here.. yesterday I ordered a chicken sandwich and borounds.. it took over 20 mins to get my food.. then they tried to give me the wrong meal, thirty mins later I finally got my food and I found a DIRTY FINGERNAIL AND HAIR in my sandwich box I've never found something so disgusting in my food before and I will never ever eat there again. It was so gross I couldn't even take a pic of it bc I was going to yack. Disgusting. Get your shit together. I want my money back and an apology! read more

After waiting 5 minutes for someone to pick up a headset for the drive through (no one was in line) finally I Waze greeted and then told they don't have chicken. Bojangles. Who literally only does chicken, doesn't have chicken. Easily the worst bojangles I've ever been to. This is about the third time I've heard this excuse as my wife loves bojangles and forces me to go here. Horrible. read more

Sat in line for 20min, get to the window to see them all laughing and joking around, on their phones, and eating. The girl working the window never once spoke, not even a response when I said thank you. Love the food but the staff sucks. read more

Food was good, that's why they have two stars: Otherwise slow and indifferent service and absolutely the dirtiest restaurant I've seen in a while. Not so much food or dirt as in run down. The wall paper on the ceiling is falling down, the walls are filthy behind the drink machine and I don't want to know what the drink machine is like in the nozzles. The place is dark as well. They need to replace some light bulbs. Obviously whoever ever owns the place doesn't spend a dime on maintenance. read more

Slow AF. They tore the old one down, re-built a pretty nice facility and.......... can't seem to staff it very well.

This is the newest and worst location around. They are constantly out of product. How are you out of green beans and cole slaw at dinner time? Had to wait for 25 minutes on my food for 3 chicken legs. Absolutely ridiculous. The owner should be embarrassed. I'm a long time customer and I will not give another dime to this location. read more

The absolute WORST experience !! The manager is obviously the issue. She is verbally abusive to the employees. Ive heard her yelling at them . Staff is not trained and the turn around with staff is daily . I have decided not to return here again. CHICK FIL A .. all the way!! zero stars for this place read more

Most times renovations of a business mean an upgrade in the product as well. This was not the case with Bojangles on Main St in Summerville. This is the third time that we have ordered 2 piece meals, and it is the third time that the chicken itself was dry and the skin was not crispy, it was cold and hard! The only saving grace for the meal was the rice and the macaroni and cheese. This is disappointing because they make a great fish sandwich, but that is a seasonal offering. I don't think I will be eating here again. read more

I can't believe I waited all this time for cold food in this long line get to the window and the food cold not going back so disappointed

I had a coupon for a $2.99 2 piece dinner & person at register insisted I could not use for what coupon said but instead a snack. I asked if she wanted to lose a sale & she said she didn't care so I left. Why issue coupons if your stores won't take them. ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE read more

Jumped in for lunch at Bojangles today. While I like the food, my son has found a new place he likes to eat, I have to say the place can use a renovation. The prices are good, the staff is hit and miss for friendly, but the walls, carpet and ceiling has issues. The dining area is clean, but dated. read more

I do like Bojangles, unfortunately this location, in spite of a new building runs out of product. This is a cardinal sin in the restaurant world, NEVER run out of product. People remember that as they drive by your store to the next location. The last three times I stopped in, there was product outings. Your primary product is chicken, DO NOT RUN IUT OF CHICKEN. Remember, It's a chicken restaurant. read more

Worst experience ever at Bojangles! Took way too long, they gave the person in front of us the wrong order then gave us the wrong order then gave us the wrong order again! I had to explain my order several different times to two different women at the drive thru which were both very rude. And the order wasn't complicated at all I didn't ask for anything special. read more

i don't even live in south carolina but this bojangles has some of the rudest employees. we come down every few months to visit family and i dread ordering from here because i know we are going to get a bad attitude/ rude customer service. it's the closest bojangles so it's convenient but we don't stop unless we are leaving or coming because it's so close. read more

Never have I had the experience that I had this morning at 8:30. I stood at the counter ten minutes and NO ONE acknowledged me! 5 people were on duty; 1 young male making biscuits, that saw me; 1 woman at the drive thru windows who did NOT see me; 1 older male wearing blue rubber gloves and talking with the 1 other woman, who saw me also. They were playing with the water hose in the sink. The older male looked me in my face two separate times and said NOTHING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! There's a monitor on the ceiling that allows them to see who's at the counter. That did NOT matter. I'm NOT person who yells or curses. I am a take it to corporate type of person. I just hung my head said "wow" and walked out. It was racial. I'm a black woman. I think that it would've been different if I was a make or a different color. I do NOT care that they too were black because racism can happen within your own race. I am however a doctor that was going to place a good size order for my MUSC staff and I would've gladly waited for it but I WASN'T ACKNOWLEDGED! NO I DON'T RECOMMEND THAT LOCATION AT ALL. read more

We had just moved to the area and my brother who was visiting and helping with the move wanted to try them. It was our first time as well. I was not impressed at all, it took half hour to get my order. I ordered the grilled chicken bites. Everyone else I was with had eaten all there food while I waited. The employees didn't seem to care that I was waiting, only the young girl at the register apologized for it being such a long wait. The people cooking the food had no urgency at all. I was very disappointed for being new to the area and never having Bojangles. I am never going back that's for sure. Also the place it self was disgusting, they were out of sweet tea and napkins. The soda counter was a mess. read more

I'm from Jersey and my mother, sister and I stopped in. Forget the food it's obviously good but the real reason I'm writing this review is for the staff. They are sweet and attentive and although my experience was great, others seemed displeased. (Side note these people were just annoying) the staff handled everything well but did endure some abuse from guests. Be nice to them! You have no idea what they're going through. One of the staff members and I made eye contact and she could tell these people were annoying me as much as her. Screw mean people. Bojangles is bang tho read more

We had not been to this one since it had been renovated and I think we missed our chance at good food and service by waiting. We visited tonight, Monday August 5. Not sure why it took 30 minutes for regular meals to start to come out and then they werent even warm. Cold fries, cold chicken, one nice biscuit one hard biscuit. They were not even busy. We wound up being the only ones in the lobby after 2 people ahead of us got their food to go. I would hate to see a crowd. The cashier was nice but the rest of the staff has far better things to do than what they are being paid to do. I wish I could tell you her name but we never even got our receipt we were told would come out with the food, and we couldn't see her name tag. There was no tea in the lobby and when asked if they had some in the back because they were out in the lobby, were told yeah and proceeded to mess around and joke with each other for a few minutes before offering. We had 5 meals and 1 came out at a time after that 30 minutes from our order. We watched the drive through line not move either so it wasnt because they were being served first. This was a really bad Bojangles before they knocked it down and rebuilt it so again we were hopeful it was going to be better. You can remodel the building but if you dont change what is working in it it will never change. We will continue to go to the one in as Goose Creek. I hope other people have better experiences. read more

Don't come near closing time. Which is 9pm. They're don't have their act together. I'd go into more detail but it's not worth it.

I have now visited this location at least 3 to 4 times. It amazes me how a restaurant can get worse per visit. The lack of customer service and simple fulfillment of orders completely blows me away. read more
