First-timer here! I am from the North where Bojangles does not exist and I'm happy to report that it exceeded my expectations for a fast food joint! My husband and I went through the drive-thru on a Saturday morning. It was quick, our order was correct and came out piping hot. I got the cajun chicken biscuit. The chicken had a good level of spice to it and the biscuit was a nice fluffy compliment to the chicken. My only critique is I think it needs some kind of sauce. Regardless, I will be back for more! :) read more

I came in for a 2:30 PM interview and arrived at 2:26 PM. When I got there, there was already a full line of customers waiting, and no one seemed to be assisting them. I understood that the staff was short-handed, so I initially gave them the benefit of the doubt and didn't think much of it. However, I ended up sitting there for an entire hour before being interviewed. At one point, my dad explained to the staff that he was my ride home and that I couldn't simply wait indefinitely. After that, I could clearly hear employees in the back laughing about the situation instead of addressing it or communicating with me. When I was finally interviewed, the interaction was extremely rude and unprofessional. Rather than having a respectful conversation about the position, I felt that I was being treated unfairly and discriminated against. I completely understand that businesses can be understaffed and busy, but that does not excuse the way I was treated. The lack of communication, the hour-long wait, the employees laughing about my situation, and the disrespectful interview process were all completely unacceptable. Honestly, after experiencing this firsthand, I can understand why they seem to be constantly hiring if this is how they treat potential employees. read more

Need to improve on making sure total order is correct on $125 order. Complete lack of customer service. Unable to contact by phone due to constant fast busy signal. Contact made three times online with Bojangles main office notifying them of missing items, requesting some one to contact me, left name, cell number, email address and physical address. It has now been a week without any contact from them. read more

I'm not a huge fan of fast food however I admit after moving back to SC after 25 years I was curious to see if Bojangles was as good as my memory thought. The short answer is according to this facility no. First a message to all those fast-food restaurants, no one likes AI drive-thru! We want real people talking to us! So I put my order in and drove to the window which was of normal speed. The cashier was extremely nice, the only highlight of my visit. He was courteous and quick to swipe the card and give me my meal. For those who are reading this, I can't stress enough, check your bag before you leave. I ordered 3 mild chicken thighs with mashed potatoes AND gravy all of which I was charged for on the receipt. When I got home, I got two very spicy thighs and potatoes with NO gravy. Needless to say, I wasn't happy yet I came from a long way away so I wasn't about to go back. As for the food, the chicken was juicy at least but I can't do heat so it wasn't a pleasant experience. Then to eat potatoes without gravy is a crime in many cities; while I joke fast food mashed spuds are notorious for being bland. Without gravy there wasn't much reason to continue eating paste. At least the biscuit were decent. Overall, this facility failed on many levels namely being able to accurately take the order and make sure said items are in the bag along with ensuring the right items are identified. As for the food the chicken was average while the potatoes were subpar with an average biscuit. At least the staff was nice while messing up the order. In summary, avoid this place until more reviews can prove they know how to take an order. read more

The worst bojangles I've ever eaten at. Dirty rice smelled rotten threw it away and the chicken was the size of a regular hot wing with no flavor. I'll never eat at any bojangles again waste of money!!! These places have gone down hill for sure read more

Should be zero stars. I have eaten at many Bojangles in multiple states. The food and the service is typically good across the board. This location, however, was absolutely terrible. Ended up waiting almost 30 minutes (told to pull over in the drive thru) for our food with no rhyme or reason to how the orders were delivered to the customers. To top it off, got back to my hotel and the order was wrong. I would hope the owner/operator or corporate can step in and fix what's wrong with this location. I know I would never order from there again. read more

Bojangles - Chicken Wings Near Me - Summerville, South Carolina

Orders the 3 wing combo. Very fresh chicken. Biscuit was cooked just right. I usually have to ask for a light biscuit, but I didn't this time. Dirty rice and green beans were a little salty, but edible. Love that they have the festive holiday packaging! Very clean dining room. (Side note: reminiscing on the days when the chicken wings were a little bigger and the sides had bigger portions :/ ) read more

Absolute TERRIBLE service!!!!!!! My wife ordered a 9 piece bo bite meal and a 12 piece family chicken meal and they have her pull forward for what was explained to her as "5-10 minute" wait and she sat there for AN HOUR!!!! With no update. Finally sees a worker walk out and simply ask if we know how long it'll be and he says one second and never comes back. I then proceed to call the store FIVE TIMES back to back with no answer to simply see if I can get an update. Not one answer. This was also during a monsoon so the drive thru was not slammed and I understand nobody wants to walk in rain and I get that but to blatantly make her sit for an hour for a relatively small order is ridiculous and especially for someone spending over $50 at your establishment i'd think better customer service was expected. Sad because we love bangles but if employees would rather convenience themselves to wait out a storm instead of running a paying customer their food because of a little rain is a disgrace. I will drive 30 mins out my way to the next one before i EVER visit this location again. read more

We wanted to stop somewhere quick on a Sunday afternoon. But unfortunately the drive through wasn't working so we had to go inside. I could tell they were short staffed but we waited patiently for our turn to order at the counter. I think it was the manager who was working the counter, honestly he needs a raise. Despite how busy it got and how short handed he was. He was still friendly, patient and kept his cool as more people continued to walk in and him having to repeat over his headset that you had to come inside to order. It's so rare for me to see someone show that much composure AND stop to help his employees. I mean the food was alright, my tenders were over cooked, the Bo-berry biscuits were delicious. But I'm giving this rating a 3 But the manager who was working gets a 5-star. read more

The service is absolutely terrible. The workers inside don't even have to take the order because the computer does it on the intercom outside yet the food is still not prepared correctly and the orders are always wrong. read more

Took 45 min for a 5 pc chicken. No dark meat available. Workers offering white meat. 3 customers in the store, drive thru seemed to be faster as they got their food first. We didn't want to wait any longer but we were told no manager was in to issue refunds. It's a shame because the food was good but took forever! read more

ridiculous. "robot" drive thru. after paying they asked us to pull around. we waited for over 10 minutes and 4 cars went through the drive through during this time. husband went inside after 12 minutes. it's now been over 20 minutes and he's still inside and we still don't have our food. do yourself a favor and skip this bojangles. read more

Stopped this morning here at 8 because the place for breakfast downtown Summerville doesn't open till 9 Only ordered an egg and cheese biscuit and an egg, cheese and bacon biscuit, they were good and soft but greasy and with a little too much salt for our taste, especially if one of us is hypertense. Didn't have to wait too long in line at the drive thru, fast food, fast service Don't mind doing this once a year when in a rush read more

The owner might want to consider hiring someone else to take orders. The young lady was rude and did not put her best foot forward. I was ordering breakfast. I asked fir no-rounds. She replied nastily. We're out of bo rounds. I stated that's a shame because the Bo rounds were the best part of the breakfast. Again with the snarky attitude. We'll we're out of them. It's not our fault. I hope she has a better day. I won't be back. read more

The food was cold and the service could've been better. Placed an order through uber for pickup- not delivery. Uber had a special where you buy a certain biscuit and you get an item free, we selected the biscuit & gravy. Driving 4 miles home, we noticed it wasn't there and either the items were cold or appeared to be soggy with grease. Called and they said it's an uber issue. Yes, we ordered through a third party and picked it up ourselves, however, the restaurant FAILED to deliver on ensuring we had all items. This is why customers have to spend extra time checking after establishments ensuring to fix of prevent any errors. read more

Second time this happen they tell you to pull up and they serve 10 people behind you completely forgetting about you, not to mention I didn't even receive my drinks. I sat in line for 20 minutes before they finally realized they didn't give me my order yet. This is the second time this has happened, by far the worst bojangles I've ever been to. I'd give it lower than a 1 star if I could. read more

Bojangles on North Main Street in Summerville is one of my favorite Bojangles locations in the area and just about every time I pass by it is Bo Time. The chicken, sides, and biscuits are consistently well prepared and delicious here and this is a really good option if you have to feed many hungry people on short notice for a good value. I like that they came back better and are a reliable source for quality chicken that will not let you down. read more

I normally don't go to this establishment primarily because I don't eat fast food often. However, today I thought I would purchase a 6 pack of the Bo Berry biscuits to offer to visiting family to snack on with coffee. I waited 15 minutes (there were only 2 cars in front of me in the drive thru) I get to the window and ask for the 6 pack of bo berry biscuits and the woman tells me they don't have enough Bo berry biscuits to give me 6. I'm flexible, I ask if she can give me 6 of the cinnamon biscuits instead? She says No we don't have any biscuits!!! I had to take a deep breath I was so mad that I waisted my time, the customer service was poor and unprofessional. read more

Went inside because the drive thru was out to the road and we waited for AN HOUR for anyone to come take our order or acknowledge us. I even asked multiple times if anyone was going to take our order and the manager just said she had to run the drive thru. I walked to the car while my boyfriend waited and this is what was out back! all we needed was a side of gravy will not be here again! Rude workers and they don't do their job but we did make tons of new friends waiting so that's a plus! read more

I've tried going a few times and each time is the same lady. short, slightly heavy set, and african american. she has SUCH a poor attitude and is extremely rude to every customer i've seen her talk to. as someone who works in a restaurant, I get that it's fast food but damn...there should not be a restaurant where you get yelled at for placing a simple order. hope she loses her job because it seems like all these complaints are about experiences with her as well. read more

Terrible and slow service. They will be the next business in the area to close. Go literally anywhere else.

The absolute worst customer service a facility can harbor. I tell myself every time to never go back but when it's close to home and quick it's hard to say no. Understatement on the word "quick". The employees and manager would rather chitchat, play on there phones, or argue in front of customers than take orders. Literally same deal the past 3-4 times I've been there. Im a calm and collect individual but this place almost made me f***ing explode today. 10 out 10 worst bonjangles in or around Charleston SC. read more

The service is horrible! This restaurant has had poor management since the day it opened! Waited in the drive thru for 6 minutes, meanwhile the 3 employees standing outside smoking, and talking. So we drive to the window and Teresa says you will have to drive back around and get in line because I already toke the car behind you order. I said ma'am we sat here and no one would answer us so we drove to the window. She refused to take our order. read more

I agree with all of these one star reviews 100%. Especially the DoorDash one. I drive for DoorDash every now and then and I've had the misfortune of having to go to this restaurant two times. And both times I was ignored by the staff. The first time I was the only one in there. The woman working the drive-through walked by me several times, and never acknowledged me. The second time I went in there was the same thing however, there were two other door Dashers in there receiving the same treatment. They just don't care and they have very horrible attitudes. If you don't like your job, then quit. But don't go out of your way to make other peoples lives miserable just because you are. I was there on 8/31/23 between 8am and noon. If you do DoorDash, I do not recommend going to the store. I would risk taking a Hidden by not excepting these orders. read more

I don't know why I'm so surprised that the meal was terrible, this was the second time I went here and I guess I expected better but got more of the same, poor quality. The chicken was so dry that you could cut yourself on it, the rice and mac & cheese was fresh last Tuesday, how do you serve food like this and stay in business? The kicker is that the wait staff was so nice, $27 for 6 dry breasts and two wings, fool me twice, yeah, you got me! I'm not saying goodbye to Bojangles, just adios to this one! read more

*Reposted from original review on bojangles website Lady at front counter never greeted me. Was too interested in having her own conversation. Whatever. I wait 10 mins and step outside to make a call. Asked my Daughter to buy me a coffee while I took my call. Took 3 more mins before she was acknowledged at the counter. "WHAT DO YOU WANT!" says cashier that doesnt feel the need to show even the slightest courtesy to an 11 year old CHILD. My daughter asks for the coffee. 40 year old Minimum wage cashier who obviously hates her job yanks the computer towards her, slamming the touchscreen with her knuckles as hard as she can while ringing it in. "Thank you" says my 11 year old because she has been raised with basic decency. Evil, firebreathing, excuse for a person scoffs and walks away without saying anything. I come back in after my call. Proceed to wait 10 more minutes without any acknowledgement except the occasional stink eye because somehow me patronizing this business has completely ruined Cruella's day, when we haven't even exchanged one word. I finally realize that there's a Togo order hiding behind the half gallons of tea this monster is filling up. So after being extremely patient and courteous, even though not a drop was reciprocated, I walked up to the counter and asked if that was my order. "WHAT NAME!" replies the dollar store knock off of Madea. "Nickolas" I reply, actually beginning to lose my patience because I'm being repeatedly disrespected for absolutely no reason. Tosses the bag across the counter. I've waited a while and I'm sensing some incompetence so I open the bag to see, 1: If the food is hot because I don't know how long it's actually been ready. I was never informed. And 2: I would like to go home with everything I paid for and not have someone missing their breakfast. Before I can pull a napkin out, this Lady is yelling at me. LITERALLY YELLING. Once again, I have exchanged one sentence and my name with this person. IT IS ALL IN THE BAG! YOU DONT NEED TO OPEN THE BAG. I reply that I paid for this food and I'll do as I like. She backs down. Apparently she assumed it was a delivery and I was a delivery driver. Didn't ask about it before berating me; a paying customer who has given her the benefit of the doubt the entire way. I can honestly say that it was the worst experience I have ever had in ANY restaurant. I took the attitude and disrespect with grace. Had I known before that she had disrespected my 11 year old daughter as well, I probably wouldn't have been so nice. There really isn't anything you guys can do. I won't be back to this location except to snap a pic of Medusa and post it with this review literally every single place I can. Take a look at your cameras and it will coaborate everything here. Can't speak for your company but will warn you that treating people the way my daughter and I were treated today is not going to win you return customers. And as soon as most people see a rating average of less than 3, and read some of the other "awesome" reviews your store has, they aren't even going to risk it. I would suggest getting ur house in order before the she devil ruins your business and takes you down to hell with her. Please don't contact me unless there will be concrete solutions from someone with actual power to fix this situation. read more

The most unprofessional folks to deal with every time I go! Extremely aggressive, rude interactions and/or wrong orders and, when the order is wrong AND the doors are locked, you have to walk up to the window--between the window and the vehicle waiting for his/her order--to, again, interact with the rude "customer service" personnel. Dear franchise owner, I'm amazed your Bojangles is still in business, as this is the lack of quality being experienced routinely by your customers--who, by the way, are the only reason the store exists. Please take action because we really like the food ordered WHEN it is hot and correctly filled. THANK YOU read more
