This was surprisingly fun! It's all outdoors with a totally Boise vibe. Each hole was based on some part of Boise, like Bogus Basin, the Boise River Greenbelt, and others landmarks in the area. It's, honestly, pretty fun, creative, and an affordable good time. And, these holes aren't easy - try and get a hole-in-one on! Trust me, I tried! There are tables and chairs where you can hang out and drink your beer, and there are misters available for these ridiculous summers here in Boise, so no worries about staying cool during your 9-hole miniature golf adventure. By the way, this place is only for adults 21 and over, so no kids, but bring your friends....and loser buys! PS - I was the loser this round, but who knows what will happen next time? My husband has always been curious about Boise Brew and Putt. We drive by it multiple times a week. To find out that our Yelp event that we are attending was going to be at this venue was such a win win for us. What a fun way to check out this adult mini golf course. The course is small but mighty! The courses has it's challenges but so fun! How each hole is a few pars is beyond me. I'm sure it meant par 50 and not par 5. Each hole was challenging and the par 50 was specifically for me! I appreciate that the owner upcylced materials to create the course. I'm all about saving our earth with reusing materials. So to make this course challenging and fun with that kind of imagination is fantastic! There is a lot of seating available to chill at after your round. Beer and soda to sip on. Basic snacks are available I believe. So, eat dinner before you head over here. Work off those dinner calories with a couple rounds of fun! Misters were going off under the tent which was so nice! It was so hot so to have that cooling element available was great! Playing a round of putt putt with my forever best friend tonight was such a great date night for the Yelp event that was held here. First time visiting Boise Brew Putt. Grabbed a brewski and put my putting skills to the test on that super awesome course (that last hole with the skis definitely got me!) Great location, friendly staff, and a pretty chill way to spend an evening. We heard from the owner that this is their 3rd season. What a fun way to spend a summer (or fall, spring, mild winter) night! Resourceful owner Kris built this creative treasure trove of golf holes from recycled materials. You'll recognize Boise sites like Bogus Basin and The Pen. Nice selection of beer, seltzer, and cider. Must be 21+. We had the opportunity to visit Boise PuttPutt, Thus venue is adults only, what a great idea. A fun little spot that would be nice for a group of friends to get together for a unique evening out. First you have the interesting golf course that elicited a lot of laughs from the players. There is a little bar with a seating area complete with misters to keep cool on hot days. It's right next door to a flying trapeze outdoor facility so you can double your pleasure watching them swing in the air. read more

I went to Brew Putt as part of a group event. Quirky and pretty fun. It's the answer to "what if I took my useless side yard and turned it into a put-put course where we all drank beer." 21+ only. Lots of old plastic/resin seating under cover that seems to be from some 70s or 80s diner. Many reclaimed and up-cycled materials throughout, which is really cool. Some of the design is a bit wonky, making slamming 2 people through each hole every 5 minutes makes it feel very rushed, especially on a few of the hole designs. And if you are left handed, finding one of the old, used putters that works for you will be a challenge. But it is pretty amusing to have a wild mix of classic ambidextrous putt putt, double-flat putters and higher end putters. So look for the flat ones lefties, as I only saw one "normal" left hand putter. The Boise-area theme is kind of fun. And the owner at the bar was very friendly. A good, quirky experience. This would definitely be on a future tour of "Keep Boise Weird." read more
