My wife and i both work so we wanted a company that was not going to make this a week long process. After some research I called independent. I spoke to Al the owner and we exchanged emails after a nice conversation and set up a date for an evaluation. Al came to the house did his thing and left. Later that night he sent me over a quote with all his observations in writing. My wife and I are both in retail business and like it when somebody puts things in writing. Al broke everything down and gave what I believed with my research to be a very good quote. After we set the date for the painters to come it was a team of 4 painters who got to work and it was a nice personable group. Day one they did some prep and got most of the the body painted. Day two it was a team of SIX. they started to replace some wood around the house and this is where I started to get a little fear because they replaced a lot of wood. I called my wife and sad "Babe I think this quote is about to sky rocket". They finished the job on day two and Al proceeded to walk me around the house to show me somethings that he would be touching up next day. I asked him with a large gulp "So Al, what my total going to be?" He replied "exactly what i quoted you" I was very relieved since he replaced more wood then we had discussed and he painted a few things that we had not spoken about. Al (independent painters) thank you so much because I was on a very fixed budget! David

I can't say enough about their professionalism and quality of work. We have hired other painting company's in the past but never had a company pay so much attention to preparation and cleanup. Sure, the painting came out great but they put so much more into the work than just painting. They vacuumed while they sanded and vacuumed again at the end of each day, washed all the light switch and outlet plates before putting them back on, cleaned the windows and even replaced the seals on the entry door because they had paint on them from the previous painter. The preparation speaks for itself but I think they sanded every square inch. Steve also has a large selection of color boards and excellent eye for assisting you with picking colors. Thanks Steve We love the colors and the work. We would recommend you and your Team to anyone. John & Cindy Massey
