I…read morewill say that this airport tends to be quiet and less busy compared to other airports I've been in, which was kind of nice. This airport has its own cafeteria. I kind of looks like an Ikea cafeteria. We had made to order omelets, coffee, cake, and even salad from a salad bar at really inexpensive prices. That's quite a bonus for the airport to subsidize this cafeteria. There is a mother and baby room, with an area to change babies, sit and nurse babies, any playroom for baby and toddlers. They also have a doctor available at the airport. Unfortunately, I was hit with a very painful kidney stone shortly after we arrived to our hotel. We took a cab back to the airport to see if I could see a doctor. I rang the bell and an EMT came out and asked what was wrong. They took me right back and treated me so respectfully and so well. The doctor came out promptly and together we both concluded it was a kidney stone. I got two pain injections which worked like magic. I've struggled with kidney stones for 25 years and never had the pain relief I got from these medications. When it was time to go we asked what we owed them and were told nothing. Just feel better and enjoy the rest of my trip. That was so awesome! They also provide large strollers for people with children. They're not baby-sized, but you can put a tired 7-year-old in one of these strollers. I don't have little kids, but I could certainly see that people appreciate it them. There are plenty of places to grab food or shop. The one strange and not so great thing about this airport, though, is that you go through security at your gate--meaning that once you go through security you are behind glass at your gate. The bad thing about this is that you can't buy water in the airport take it with you on the plane because it's taken away at the gate security. There is a vending machine at the gate, but the choices are limited. All in all, I'd say this airport has more to offer than almost any other airport I've been to.

Vaclav Havel Airport Prague - Terminal 1 is also one big airport and still easy to navigate. We were leaving from and the process could not have been easier. we needed (and wanted) lunch and luckily we went to =o the lounge where we had plenty to choose from. They have plenty of restaurants and choices here. So this helped round out an easy voyage. It's was also a very easy to access from the airport from where we were staying... about a 45 minute drive. Our only issue was man-made... we had two big bags packed as heavy as we were allowed. We even had to purchase a duffle bag to lighted and stretch out the load. There was lots of duty free shopping opportunities within the airport, but never felt overwhelmed with the amount of people you would see at a JFK, Atlanta or LAX. Easy mobility throughout. Plenty of clean bathrooms and no charge Wi-Fi that were now seeing in most airports both nationally and internationally. This is always a nice finishing touch while you're waiting for your plane to board. What more could you ask for? So glad we did. The booking process is simple and effective. As we got through customs into the arrival hall our driver was waiting with his distinctive orange sign with my name on it. He promptly escorted us to the awaiting Mercedes sedan and dropped us at our hotel 20 minutes later complete with a copy of an insiders guide to Prague. I referred to this a lot during our stay!! They also provide a free guided walking tour but we opted to walk on our own. Departure pick up was established and our driver arrived at our hotel 15 minutes early and whisked us off to the airport. For just over $20? Are you kidding me? Why use a shared shuttle or the notorious rip off Prague cabbies. This is the way to do it. The only way.

However, the trains were requiring a connection and a bunch of weird requirements. Plus I was traveling with two bags. I was thinking about the bus shuttle from Munich Station and finally googled taxis and there are plenty of car services that will take you to Prague. Originally I was a bit concerned because there were not a lot of reviews on MyEuroTaxi.com but i decided to try it. 1. Great response and very timely. 2. Nice car. I was only one person so they sent a Mercedes Sedan. 3. Charges - They charge by the car, not person, so if you have a large party and require a van, it can be quite economical. 4. Convenience - I was able to conduct business calls and make notes while driving as the mobile connectivity was very good. We were able to stop just after the border for a coffee and using the restroom for a few minutes. 5. The drive was fantastic, you can go really fast on the Autobahn at certain points and we got to the hotel in Prague in under 4 hours. More like 3.5 hours. This was less time that taking a plane and I was very comfortable. No security, no passport, no baggage issues. In the end, i paid the taxi driver by credit card, gave him a tip and was on my way. Fresh, relaxed and ready to rock and roll. I would use them again if I am traveling to and from Prague to nearby cities. I say give them a shot and try them out!

Their planes are always clean when we get on. They do a great job of preparing flights from customer to customer. The attendants are always very friendly, courteous and professional. A great group of very talented and committed individuals. They should all be very proud of themselves. I have flown both economy and Delta Priority 1. BIG difference and depending on the length of the flight, it may be worth it. I recognize that there is a big price difference in the two so it's not always an easy choice. This trip ws Delta 1 and it is an amazing experience... Seateing, beverages and amazing food. The seating is always comfortable and there is always enough legroom. (I'm 5'11"). The video screens are a good size and there is always enough entertainment choices. They also have a solid wi-fi on baord. I don't mind flying, really I don't. When I do, Delta does a great job. I'm not always thrilled about being put into a tube and shot across the country sitting for 3-6 hours but when I do, Delta is a great way to go. I have been and will continue to fly 1st class or Delta One. The service is absolutely flawless and at least I can sleep for a little on a long flight.
