I went with 518 Handyman because their price was competitive an they took the time to show me a house they recently remodeled. Their work is outstanding! I had to keep calling/emailing the office to check on status of windows. When I was told the windows would be in I had to email a week past what they told me to get an update. I understand the whole Covid thing and short staffed but I used this company to support a local business and what I got was the worst experience ever. When we did lock in an install date the 518 handyman ordered the wrong size. I was then told to fix it they could do the smaller window install and charge me more for the sheetrock, etc. for the additional work needed or go with the size I ordered but it would be $200 more a window. I would never use this company ever. Their updates were horrific and I was told something different each time. Then the day of the install I'm told sorry we have the wrong size but you can pay more if you want. Worse Contractor service I have ever experienced. Out of a 5 star I had to give them a 1 because there was no option for a 0. When the lady called me back to credit me not one mention of we are sorry about this mix up. That alone tells me what I unfortunately had to find out the hard way.

After several years of owning our home, and painting it over and over we discovered extensive rot on the house. We knew that we wanted something more carefree and sustainable but didn't want our home looking like plastic or not fitting naturally into the landscape. We interviewed many contractors but few offered us solutions, nor did they return a call, send an estimate. I kept seeing on the local FB pages the same name popping up, "Billy Brice". I contacted BHI and Billy and Tyler came out, listened to our needs, walked the project, measured the home in the freezing rain, and were the first ones to offer solutions and introduced us to Everlast Siding. A composite that holds up to the elements but doesn't look like plastic rather more natural. We were so impressed with the entire team; Billy, Tyler, Ian and Mark. They showed up on time, worked efficiently, kept a clean jobsite, and did quality work. We highly recommend this business and would hire them again. We were actually a little sad when the project came a close as we enjoyed having the team around. Great team and great work.
