Where do I begin.. well I've been seeing Sherwin for a few years now and he is by far the best out there, I've had my share of massage therapist over the years and sherwin is a gem! I am so grateful for him. I look forward to my 2hour massages every month, I will never go back to just 1hr. He is worth the $$$ and every minute you can get with him. What I like about Sherwin is he asks what is going on with your body and what needs most attention and then of course he could tell with his hands what needs most attention. He is very detailed with his work its so amazing, he also uses tools to fix your body. Its crazy, I always feel like I have a brand new body and even new set of hands when I get my massages. Sherwin is a true master at his craft. I tell everyone about him because he really has been a life saver for me. Another great thing about sherwin is he is so full of knowledge, he is always taking classes and even classes out of the country to learn from the best. So now that you read this long review next thing you need to do is book that appointment with Sherwin. It will be the best thing you can do for the health of your body! Thank you sherwin for all that you do!

She went last night and had her first appointment with Jeremiah. She has chronic pain due to depression, anxiety, and a variety of other health concerns. Jeremiah set the tone by asking what her goals were for her massage, and allowing her to completely feel whatever she needed to feel while he worked on her pain through out her body. She spoke highly of the facility, the staff, and the care that was taken on her visit. I want to thank the staff and Jeremiah for having my daughter in such good hands and care. The trust this establishment cultivated with her was enough for me to know they care. Truly care. I'll be making an appointment for myself in the near future as I myself have fibromyalgia and deal with a great deal of pain myself.

Hi, Mr. Larry. Since this interaction with you, the business owner, is by extension an experience…read moreI'm having with Kneads Work, I believe it's appropriate to add this updated review: Mr. Larry, I'm going to respond directly to several points because your reply contains contradictions and mischaracterizes what I actually wrote. First, your comment implying that because I fell asleep my recollection is somehow unreliable is both dismissive and contradictory. You state my falling asleep makes it "difficult to determine how much you actually remember," then say you "won't argue that point" after doing just that. It was a nap, Sir, not a coma. Falling asleep during portions of a two-hour massage does not somehow prevent me from accurately assessing the overall pressure, how little time was spent on the areas I specifically requested, or how my body felt when I left. Those are the central issues I raised. Second, you acknowledged that Chris "had been struggling" with pressure calibration during training. That directly validates the primary criticism in my review rather than undermines it. Third, your repeated emphasis that I answered "yes" when asked if things were okay ignores the context I already explained. Yes, I acknowledged I could have been more explicit when Chris asked whether things felt "ok." I took accountability for that. But "ok" is an inherently vague check-in. So given how vaguely that was phrased, I interpreted it as a comfort check, not a technical question about treatment depth. A therapist working with someone who explicitly disclosed thoracic outlet issues should communicate with much greater specificity if pressure depth is being calibrated. You and your past therapists were quite capable of understanding this, Sir. Fourth, I did not indict your entire business. I explicitly referenced positive past experiences and explained that those experiences are exactly why this visit was disappointing. That's honest context, not an attack. Fifth, my pricing criticism was never about transparency. I knew the listed cost. My point was that the service delivered did not justify that cost based on what was requested and what was actually provided. Posted pricing does not exempt a business from value-based criticism. Yes, including how your prices haven't changed for some time, Sir. Asking why I tipped is also not the strong point you seem to think it is. Many people tip out of courtesy, awkwardness, or because disappointment is processed more clearly after leaving. A tip is not automatic evidence of satisfaction. Not sure how questioning me doing a nice thing was worth you pointing it out. Perhaps you can explain the logic behind this. Your suggestion that I should have complained privately instead of posting a public review misunderstands the purpose of public reviews. They exist for clients to honestly document their experiences, positive or negative. Since I'm a paying customer, not your employee, going to yelp to share my experience shouldn't be frowned upon by you. For added context to what I told Chris, when he asked me "how I felt," I specifically said without any abrasive or rude tone, "I don't think you're a bad person at all, I just didn't get the massage I asked for, so I intend to leave a review." As advice, it's actually you that could've reached out (you have my entire contact information) or left a message saying you'd like to rectify this matter and get better understanding of the experience after my review. I never cared for a free massage. Instead, I was more than willing to change my review after you demonstrated any good faith attempt in rectifying this matter. I assumed a business owner as successful as yourself understood how to navigate this sort of issue. Which leads me to my next point. Most concerning was your decision to publicly mention staffing consequences involving Chris. Whether that was meant as explanation or implication, internal personnel decisions are yours alone and should not be framed in a way that attempts to place that burden on a client for leaving honest feedback. Hope you absorb that advice. My original review was detailed, measured, and even acknowledged where I could have communicated more clearly during the session, while expressly avoiding personal attacks. That is accountability on my part. Thank you for illuminating me to the thought process you harbor when confronting unfavorable reviews like mine. It might've been to much to expect a simple acknowledgment that the session missed the mark and that communication broke down on both sides. Instead, much of your response focused on deflecting responsibility, questioning my credibility, and reframing legitimate criticism as "destructive." I stand by my review because it accurately reflects the experience. Hope this removes some of the things that were "difficult to determine." You have my contact if you care to continue this, Sir. Either way, thank you.

I've been looking…read morearound for a massage place/therapist for the past year and have tried a handful in the area and I will say that this place is my new favorite! From the start, making an appointment through Jenny was a great first impression, she's very polite and answers any questions you have, and makes the sign up process very easy. For your first appointment, you need to come 15 minutes early to fill out a medical history form to ensure there's no contraindications to getting your treatments, I appreciate this as this can prevent allergic reactions or other medical concerns. The receptionist was very nice too! She was helpful and honest and did let me know of some specials they had. I asked for a 80 minute custom machine and added a scalp detox (extra $20) and harmony bliss treatment (extra $26) with Himalayan salt rocks which is included into your overall time. Although the add ons can make a hefty bill, I totally thought it was worth it! My massage therapist was Ashley, she's very sweet and very skilled! She can tell where your aches and pains are and you can tell she puts extra effort into those areas. I asked for an emphasis on upper and lower back and she did absolutely awesome helping me with my pain and tension using pinpoint pressure and direct targeting was great. The scalp detox felt really nice and was a nice head scrub as well as using a gua Sha tool to gentle scrape the scalp, the coconut oil smelled very nice. I probably wouldn't do this one as often but the harmony bliss was what it states--blissful. It might be the cold weather but those hot rocks with a little bit of grain really had me relaxing and it felt exfoliating as well! I was worried about being cold due to the weather but Ashley was wonderful at keeping me covered and the heated bed is hugely appreciated! The spa itself is clean and very quiet. Great music and despite there being 2-4 other guests during my time there, I never heard any of them during my massage. Next time I come in, if those promotions are still around, I'm definitely going to consider purchasing a package. They take cash and card and if you give gratuity via cash they offer you an envelope to put it in for your therapist. Thank you Jenny and Ashley and all of the staff there for a wonderful experience!

I had heard amazing things about their prenatal massages and read all of the wonderful Yelp reviews, so I had high hopes. I arrived 15 minutes early as requested to complete paperwork before my appointment. To my surprise, immediately after I finished filling everything out on the iPad, I was informed there had been an emergency cancellation involving one of the massage therapists. Of course I was disappointed, but unfortunately that was only the beginning. The manager approached me apologetically, but then explained that because it was Mother's Day, they were fully booked and essentially expected me to decide what to do next. I remember asking, "What do you mean? What would you like me to do?" She offered a 20% discount on the gift certificate my husband had purchased and suggested rescheduling me for the following Saturday, assuring me that she herself would personally do my massage. At that point, I agreed because I didn't want to let the situation ruin my day. The front desk staff also reassured me, speaking very highly of the manager and saying she had over 10 years of massage therapy experience, had worked at the Ritz-Carlton, and that everyone absolutely loved her work. That made me feel much more comfortable and reassured. Fast forward to the rescheduled appointment: I was looking forward to this massage all week, especially as a very pregnant woman who is about ready to pop. Then my husband received a text saying my appointment had been changed to Sunday instead of the Saturday we had originally scheduled. They had somehow mixed up my appointment. At that point, my frustration was through the roof. After already experiencing a cancellation and rescheduling issue, having my appointment changed again felt incredibly unprofessional and disappointing. I was so upset that I had my husband go inside and speak on my behalf because I didn't want to react emotionally or say something out of frustration. Overall, I'm extremely disappointed with my experience. I understand emergencies happen, but repeated scheduling mistakes and poor communication made what was supposed to be a relaxing Mother's Day gift turn into a stressful experience. As someone about to welcome a baby any day now, I was really looking forward to this time for myself. I truly hope they improve these issues in the future because based on my experience, I unfortunately would not recommend this establishment.

I'm chronically ill, and today I got some really scary health news, so I booked a massage here to try to relax. The room they do the massages in is super bright. Once I rolled on my back and she was doing my scalp massage, she didn't have anything covering my eyes for most of it so the full-brightness in the room wasn't really calming. She eventually covered my eyes but not for the first good bit of it. Certain songs on their playlist were super fast paced and upbeat too so it felt a little stressful (it was all instrumental, but some of the piano stuff felt like Flight of the Bumblebee kinda piano instrumental). Massage itself was fairly nice. When I got up though, my shoulders felt SUPER sore, and that's never happened to me with massages in the past (I'm writing this 3 hours later, and they're still sore!). Also, my mom also booked a massage for the same length of time, but oddly enough I got out a good 8-10 minutes before her. I didn't check the time I went in (we got taken in a bit after appt time), so I don't know if my lady went under my time or my mom's went over. Anyways, despite all that, the woman had still done her service and she seemed nice so I wanted to give her a 15% tip. Calculated what I paid for the service and it said 15% was $6.50, so I gave her $7. She took it, counted it, and then told me to my face "$7? 7?? Only $7???" I informed her that because of my health issues I'm not able to work right now, and that I'd love to tip her more if I could, and she just walked away. I understand why someone would be peeved if I stiffed her. I used to work in customer service back before I had health issues. I know tipping is important, but complaining in a customer's face about 15% really rubbed me the wrong way. Tipping culture has gotten so out of hand... I'm so upset, because I went in for something relaxing after my horrible day, and then left just feeling embarrassed, sore, and $55 poorer. Which may not be a lot to some people but as someone who can't work who can only treat myself to something once in a blue moon and decided to today because of how upsetting of a day I had, it's a lot to spend to leave unhappy. My mom who was massaged by another lady had a great experience though. She'd covered my mom's eyes the whole time she was on her back, my mom didn't have back pain after, and when my mom tipped (same $ amount), she was very grateful and kind about it. Neither of us got the names of the people who helped us unfortunately but I guess your experience here depends on who you get.
