I was able to book on-line the night prior, such a relief as I have been battling migraines all week and other spas were booked out for days. I will return every week to see Cici while I'm in Madison! I'm a healthcare traveler and it's vital for me to find a really skilled massage therapist in every new city! Cici is the best! I'll definitely book an hour with her once a week, maybe twice a week. I believe the basic massage is only $80 plus tip. The $10 lymphatic work was definitely worth it!!! I think I'll add cupping next, too. Make it a 90 minute session. Loved the hot towel after massage of my back and arms. Perfect!!! Thank you Oasis Spa!!!

I was a little apprehensive. I expected the soft lighting and tranquil music. The place was impeccably clean. Of course, most important was the respect and care I received from the staff. Someone greeted us with tea after we got changed, and we waited in the lounge until our appointment time. While the lounge was comfortable and really nicely appointed, I don't think that I would pay an add--on cost to extend my time in the space. The steam and hot saunas were really nice, and I liked that you can reserve it to use privately. An hour is quite long. It would be great if they had a 45 minute price option. This is super specific, but it seemed strange they didn't have handles on both sides of the doors in the steam sauna. While I knew this when booking. I was very surprised that the rate per person is the same for using the space. If you are reserving it for a set time, there should be a discounted rate for additional people. We were glad we went, but I think they could definitely make it more affordable for couples or groups while still charging extra for the cleaning and washing of the additional towels and robes.

The environment is too sterile and bright to really relax, there's no real walls that go up all the way in the space so it's hard to have a silent moment. The food they offer is bird food or microwaved handmade food that's overpriced, the chai is from a packet, the sanctuary again isn't set up to lounge your options are a chair, the floor, or maybe a swing chair. The steam room never got hot, and the sauna was just ok. Also if you arrive early prepare to be board or not offered to wait inside. Just not worth the money at all.

I usually book the same massage…read moretherapist but this time I wanted to see what someone else might bring to the table (no pun intended). The massage therapist was kind and welcoming but I noticed that she had on an earbuds-type headset that she wore around the back of her neck. OK, maybe she listens to something that gets her into her groove but several times during the massage she seemed to drift her focus away from me: only one hand on my body that seemed to just stop in mid stroke or repeated massaging the same area over and over and over again, each time getting deeper than the medium touch we had discussed. I even could hear another sound in the room other than the soothing music that was playing. Was that coming from her earpieces? She also spent so much time on my back side that by the time she asked me to flip over the massage was almost done. She just seemed distracted. I will go back but to my usual therapist who has always kept me 100% the focus of her attention.
