A year and a half ago I decided to take a serious look at my physical health. I had unfortunately…read moreignored so many vital things that were not only important to living a long life but a happy one as well. Over the next year, I lost over 85 lbs and was feeling better at 46 than I had in my 20s! Although the weight was gone, I knew that there were years of built-up residue lining my colon. While I was feeling better, I knew that those toxins that were still in there could to be negatively impacting my health. I wanted them gone so I started my search for a place I would feel comfortable having my first colonic done. What little nerves I had about this procedure were quickly eliminated (pun intended) during my phone call with Healing Hope Colonic. I had a dozen questions, all of which were quickly answered, as well as so much more informative information I hadn't even thought to ask about. I booked my appointment for the beginning of the following week. When I arrived for my appointment I was made to feel so very comfortable. The best part is your Colonic feels more like a spa treatment which I appreciate. The room was decorated beautifully, very tranquil and relaxing. The Colonic is self is not painful. At one point, got a little bit crampy, but it only lasted a few minutes. Everything else was smooth sailing. Because I intermittent fast and am very regular, I wasn't expecting to see a ton of stuff but was pleasantly surprised. Especially after we had gotten halfway through the treatment and into the Transverse part of my colon. ( See I sound like an expert but that is because Terrin explained everything she was doing so I was aware of what was happening as it was happening). After my treatment was done I drank a minty green juice drink shot and headed home. Over the next few days, I tried to evaluate how I felt and any changes I may have noticed. The first thing I noticed was an increase in my energy level! Which was needed since we were heading out on vacation that weekend. Another huge change was the upper part of my torso area was much flatter. So much so that my husband and mom both so recognized it! My brain functions seem so much clearer. I know that may sound odd to some but my brain runs like a computer with 25 different tabs/windows open at the same time not enough RAM to process it all most of the time. I overall just felt better!
