If you're considering coolscuplting, BodyLase Skin Spa in Cary, NC is the place to go and Mari is your go to girl!!! First, I'll start with a little bit about my personal experience. I am in my late 20s and am in overall pretty good shape. I watch what I eat, go to the gym on a regular basis, and have an appropriate BMI. However, I have always carried extra fat in my midsection. Regardless of how many sit-ups I have done throughout the years the belly bulge remained. In August of 2013, I decided to do something about this belly fat. I considered both smart lipo and coolscultping and consulting with multiple people who performed both procedures in the Raleigh-Durham area. After much thought and consideration, I decided that coolsculpting was the best way to treat my problem area. That was the hard decision. The easy decision was who I wanted to perform my coolsculpting. Upon first meeting Mari Leszczak I felt 100% comfortable with her. She is extremely knowledgeable about coolscultping. She thoroughly explaining what to expect during and after the procedure and described what she envisioned my final result would be. She has an exceptional eye for detail and symmetry. She didn't just want my results to please me...she wanted them to be perfect in her eyes as well. As for price...it wasn't that much of a factor. Maybe other offices are cheaper and maybe not. It didn't quite matter. I needed someone I could trust and I knew I had found her. I received 8 applications in 3 separate sessions over a span of about 3 1/2 months. My final results are better than I could have ever imagined. The machine itself did the actual work but it was Mari's fine eye for detail with each precise application that gave me the flat symmetrical appearance I now have. The office and procedure rooms at BodyLase Skin Spa in Cary are very neat and clean. Everybody is professional, courteous, and easygoing. I can tell that customer satisfaction is extremely important to each and every person who I came in contact with. Sarah Flores is the Spa Manager at this office. She is very proficient and extremely informative. BodyLase Skin Spa is a friendly and welcoming environment whose staff takes pride in their job performance. Would not recommend this place to anyone, there's so many other places that have way better customer service, no attitudes and that don't talk to you like you're dumb and don't know your body! Literally argued with some girl named Christine or christina because she numbed me and I told her I can still feel it and that it felt weird because I usually can't feel anything after. I have been a loyal customer for years at BodyLase until my recent visit for filler & Botox from Grace! ( I had great results with Kelly & Rhonda over the years !) Grace over filled my face with filler and Botox recently all on the same visit. I looked like I'd been stung by a bees nest! The filler made my face huge looking un natural and terrible. ! I spent thousands- I'm so embarrassed and sick! No reply from owner and I called the manager, Laura, but she basically said it's my problem. I had to pay full price, hundreds of dollars, to get it out and it still looks horrible. They were not helpful or caring what so ever! With all other options for a Med Spa in the area, please be warned. This establishment is not customer centric. Their business practices leave much to be desired. Products and services are overpriced (I just booked a 90 min. hydro facial in Laguna Beach CA for $180 vs $280 for 60 min in Cary). I had a bad reaction to a product, not sure which one as I purchased a set of 8 different ones. The person who sold it to me was on vacation, I was told to wait the week she was out. I went in person, the manager couldn't bother to come out to see what was happening with my skin. The front desk told me she would call me back on Friday, never did. If they cared for the client, someone should have come out and said "let me see what is going on, and see how we can help it" Instead the first/only response I received was "you signed a paper stating that it's medical grade and you cannot get your money back". They do not care about clients, just their bottom line. There are much nicer, and more customer friendly places around. I do want to acknowledge and thank Desiree for working with me after she got back, even if I did not get my money back. I spend a lot of money on products I will not use! At least Desiree was able to reverse all charges for FUTURE services not received, ones I hadn't even booked the first appointment for! I've had two consultations, one with Erin in which she suggested two products for my inflammation & acne scarring (Elta MD & Obagi Vitamin C). It's been 2 months maybe and my skin has done a fabulous 180. Complete opposite of what it was 2 months. I went in to see her initially to discuss the possibility of laser scar treatment, and instead it healed all on its own with the help of her product suggestions. With over $7,000 spent, and 10 CoolSculpting applications, I ended up looking worse than I started. My plump smooth belly and love handles became bigger and lumpy. And this was while maintaining my same weight. Bodylase offered no remedy or refund. And eventually stop returning my phone calls (so much for customer service). The only thing I got out of this deal was the lost of sick days from work while recovering from the procedures, a lumpy body, and "poorer" of course.
