I have been a loyal customer for years at BodyLase until my recent visit for filler & Botox from Grace! ( I had great results with Kelly & Rhonda over the years !) Grace over filled my face with filler and Botox recently all on the same visit. I looked like I'd been stung by a bees nest! The filler made my face huge looking un natural and terrible. ! I spent thousands- I'm so embarrassed and sick! No reply from owner and I called the manager, Laura, but she basically said it's my problem. I had to pay full price, hundreds of dollars, to get it out and it still looks horrible. They were not helpful or caring what so ever! With all other options for a Med Spa in the area, please be warned. This establishment is not customer centric. Their business practices leave much to be desired. Products and services are overpriced (I just booked a 90 min. hydro facial in Laguna Beach CA for $180 vs $280 for 60 min in Cary). I had a bad reaction to a product, not sure which one as I purchased a set of 8 different ones. The person who sold it to me was on vacation, I was told to wait the week she was out. I went in person, the manager couldn't bother to come out to see what was happening with my skin. The front desk told me she would call me back on Friday, never did. If they cared for the client, someone should have come out and said "let me see what is going on, and see how we can help it" Instead the first/only response I received was "you signed a paper stating that it's medical grade and you cannot get your money back". They do not care about clients, just their bottom line. There are much nicer, and more customer friendly places around. I do want to acknowledge and thank Desiree for working with me after she got back, even if I did not get my money back. I spend a lot of money on products I will not use! At least Desiree was able to reverse all charges for FUTURE services not received, ones I hadn't even booked the first appointment for! I've had two consultations, one with Erin in which she suggested two products for my inflammation & acne scarring (Elta MD & Obagi Vitamin C). It's been 2 months maybe and my skin has done a fabulous 180. Complete opposite of what it was 2 months. I went in to see her initially to discuss the possibility of laser scar treatment, and instead it healed all on its own with the help of her product suggestions. I was hoping to love BodyLase based off the reviews but unfortunately don't think this will be my go to spot. Prices are very high compared to what I was paying in Boston for the enhanced services I was receiving there (hydrafacial+dermaplanning+extractions). Felt pressured into buying additional products when I left as well..I asked if they had samples since some of the products were $100+. With over $7,000 spent, and 10 CoolSculpting applications, I ended up looking worse than I started. My plump smooth belly and love handles became bigger and lumpy. And this was while maintaining my same weight. Bodylase offered no remedy or refund. And eventually stop returning my phone calls (so much for customer service). The only thing I got out of this deal was the lost of sick days from work while recovering from the procedures, a lumpy body, and "poorer" of course. I do not recommend wasting your time or money at Bodylase for CoolSculpting. read more
