Whilst I was overseas, Mecca Cosmetica developed into the most important luxury brand beauty company in Melbourne and I'm ever so grateful that this store exists. All my favourite beauty brands are here - Stila, Nars, Laura Mercier, Bumble & Bumble - and others I didn't know about but that I'm so glad to have become acquainted with. One of the lovely things about Mecca is that they employ both male and female staff members. That was one thing I loved about Georges too. More men should work in make-up, it just totally works. The Mecca peeps are very careful to greet you and ask if you need assistance almost immediately upon entering their store, which is very nice unless you just want to be left alone to 'play' and each and every staff member approaches you in turn to ask you if you need help. Still, they're just trying to be helpful. And the great thing is that they don't mind if you do just want to have a play with all their make-up. You can apply and reapply lipstick to your heart's desire and there's never a shortage of tissues and make-up remover to keep the looks you want to create ever evolving. Excellent fun.

Dr Lee as i call him is considered one of the foremost experts in Chinese Medicine in Australia. Regardless of the fact his english is minimal, so please be patient when seeing him, he has gift of knowing your problem and then healing it. I tore my lateral ligament in my left knee, about 70% tear from xray, knee was swollen to 3x normal size. on my third visit to Dr Lee in the first week i watched my knee return to normal size. i was a NZ ARMY medic for 5 years and this was nothing i had seen before. I will always see Dr Lee for any medical treatment before i let western medicine butcher my body through surgery. FYI Western Medical knowledge is a few hundred years old, Chinese Medicine is over 4000 yrs old. Booking was easy over the phone and we managed to get appointment for the same day The physio we booked into specialises with children and she has a lovely manner, friendly and very thorough. Our initial appointment was about 45 min and she went through different positions to ascertain the cause / extent of pain. I would come back if needed as I found the session to be value for money, thorough and insightful. Lucky for us, my daughter's pain was not serious and does not need ongoing treatment. When I left I was given a new client pack which include referral cards, which gives a friend $20 off their first session and $20 off my next session - so if you are thinking of going let me know, happy to give you the card.

My first appointment with them was a fairly lengthy one as the physiotherapist had to ask me lot of questions to determine what was wrong and what course of action to take. I was given an ultrasound massage and shown a few exercises that really helped my condition. And since the second session, I've never had to go back. The physiotherapist was very thorough, professional and even though she did say I would need a few more sessions, I felt better after the second - which is a shame since I was hoping to try the clinical pilates out. They also have a fast claim system so I was able to get a direct reimbursement through Medibank on the spot.
