Five months ago, a unique rock n' roll themed cafe The Bakers with a great back story, took over…read morethe All About Empanadas space and served pastry, coffee with a slim empanadas offering. Now, I noticed the All About Empanadas sign is affixed to the building and also imprinted on the front windows with a small "The Bakers" logo on the side. In my opinion, the interior lost its unique musical charm that set it aside from other cafes. The rock music banners, records and phonograph have vanished, although a new large wall mural exists with The Bakers logo. Confusion quickly set in and asked the cook what happened to the original concept. He advised that All About Empanadas will now be a collaboration with The Bakers. Came here today to spin a cool punk rock record of my choice but that no longer is an option, although still hungry. Ordered an Argentinian beef empanada from the new wall menu which now offers an extensive variety of empanadas. It was made fresh and was moist with full flavor. Sat for about ten minutes in the now common ambiance. Please bring back the original concept. Not sure if that will happen but I wish them luck.

Great new coffee spot that took over the Argentinean empanadas place. I tried the matcha latte and…read morethe dulce de leche Media Luna. Enjoyed both. Service was amazing and the vibes are all there. They've done a wonderful job with details and theme. They went with a chic rockers vibe and the band is called "The Bakers." They carried the theme creatively throughout which was well done. Not many places can bring the vibes, creativity and solid food and service. Looking forward to see how the menu expands and hoping to try their empanadas.

If you aren't aware they have 2 locations. A full location on the Marshall's side and a kiosk location outside of the Target/Brandsmart location. I alternate between the 2. Although they are the same company they are not the same. Like I mentioned I typically get a latte. Most times I go to the Target side location and order a large. Wednesday I got a small. Turns out the large on the Target side is the same size as a small on the Marshall's size. The large on the Marshall's size is 2x the size of the large on the Target size and the small on the Marshall's side is the size of the large on the Target side. And the price? Same prices. 2 locations. 2 different size coffees. Taste wise, they are consistent. I never really noticed it much as I had never ordered a small before, but it is tiny in comparison. I rarely get food. This trip I did have a bagel with cream cheese. It was not so good. Basically a Walmart bagel with a tiny bit of cream cheese pressed instead of toasted. The location near target...they use the square for payments, which is fine, but last time I didn't use cash it was attached to a busted iPhone and that just freaked me out. I go to food trucks so I am used to it and my phone is registered so I did get a receipt via text, but it still makes me nervous so I always pay cash at that location. Why 3 stars and not less? Well we don't have 1/2 stars, so I rounded up. Service is always friendly and they don't continue speaking to me in Spanish when they see that is not my language and at Sawgrass Mills that is definitely worth the extra 1/2 star. They always have Splenda. The latte, although from a machine, uses fresh milk and not the powdered yuckiness.
