Sometimes streamlining my work and being overly dedicated to my job has set backs on my body (and personal life). It was a big scare for me after I pushed too hard to deliver a large deadline and my arm felt numb tingles. This has occurred before but this time the numbness did not go away after a while so I looked into a specialist to relieve my ailments. After much research, I was blessed to find Terri from Body Restore in Yelp. I called Terri and we were able to discuss my condition. She is also very responsive via text. At first she was booked for the dates and time I wanted, but she immediately contacted me when there was an opening the next day so our fates really aligned. Terri was sweet to email me her New Patient Form, Informed Consent of Acupuncture & Massage Treatments and Notice of Privacy Practice (HIPPA notice). On the day of, there was also a release for Team Oyama since the treatment was on their property. On the day of the appointment I arrived a bit early. Please remember to park in the Team Oyama parking lot or there is plenty of street parking. Their neighbors may tow if you park in the wrong place. Upon entering, there is a designated Team Oyama receptionist who welcomed me back to Terri's treatment room. Terri was super sweet and filled with positive energy!! I just sensed that I was in good hands. I brought my paperwork with me and she went over the forms to additional look at my ailments I wrote down. She also gave me a verbal consultant and explained to me what her plans were for our 1 Hour Massage ($99). The massage treatment included hot stones aromatherapy, massage lotion and whatever Terri felt my body needed. As she left the room for me to settle in, she mentioned that I will be getting a full 1 hour on the table, so all of the time we spent discussing my ailments would not be taken away from my treatment time. We started off face down. Terri was so intuitive and her technique is amazing. She applied a firm pressure, but it was effective, not painful. I was able to breath through most of it. My neck, shoulder, low back, and thighs were really tight, so in some spots where it was too tight, Terri would use the hot stones to help loosen up the area before working on it. I have had many massages in my life, but Terri's massage is one of the most effective, if not the #1, massage I have ever received. Terri was able to release the strain on my left rotator cuff and the numb feelings from my forearm, and soreness in my hands. I felt so much better immediately after the treatment. Considering it took years of overworking conditions to lead me to my pains, I was impressed how much improvements I felt after one treatment. I was able to sleep through the night for the first time in a long time. I honestly would have scheduled an appointment to see Terri again if it wasn't for COVID-19. The day after the appointment, Terri was so sweet, she sent me a text to check on how I was doing. In addition, she even sent me an easy youtube video on an exercise to help pinched nerve and neck pain. I can see that she was genuinely trying to help me feel better and improve my condition whether I was at home or coming in for a session. It is very selfless of her, since there are some individuals who would prefer to make you come back for more sessions. I feel so blessed that the universe sent my Terri and she is definitely on top of my bucketlist of people to see when the COVID-19 crisis is over. read more

My husband and I have been faithfully seeing Terry for the last two decades. She has helped my husband rebound after major spinal surgery as well as helped me over the years with various structural issues. She has the healing touch and works with you to bring you back into balance. We have referred her to so many people that also keep going back especially when the back starts going... Besides being exceptional at massage she is also kind and intuitive. She meets you where you are. I definitely can't say enough praise worthy words to describe her talents and abilities. read more

You can never find a better place. Oh my God Terry has golden hands , she can cure anything. Great value of money

I 100% recommend Body Restore! Terri is absolutely amazing. Body restore is located inside Team Oyama MMA & Fitness. Total contrast from the rough and tough martial arts side though, when you walk into Body Restore it's like you are in another beautiful relaxing world with candles, soft colors, and aroma therapy. As you enter the gym, just let the front desk person know you are coming for Body Restore. There will be a seated waiting area you can relax until your session. Now onto the important stuff, the massage therapy. Anyone can relax you, what Terri does is magic! I have had hundreds upon hundreds of massages, a necessity for a very active person. I've have Thai massage, hot stone massage, Swedish, Chinese, sports, pretty much every kind under the sun. They each have their benefits, and I've definitely worked with some awesome masseuses/massage therapists, and Terri is one of (if not the best) I've ever worked with. Let Terri know what your current issues are, and she will work them out. She works in a very "intuitive" way. I've never had someone totally relieve the lower back problems I've had like Terri. I come in with so many little injuries, and she almost always completely resolves the issues or makes them feel a million times better. As with all massage therapists, let her know how the pressure is. She tends to ease into the issue, but if you want hard, trust me she can go hard. No pain, no gain. It may be a little uncomfortable during, but afterwards you'll feel a million times better. Check Body Restore out, I promise you won't be sorry ;) read more

Finally went to see Terri after referrals from multiple friends that she is a miracle worker. Being a little older and still trying to work out like a 20 yr old I have multiple issues going on. The way she works thru it all and discusses her findings while she works will help me well beyond the visit. I will be going back. read more

Stressed? Aching? Sore? Chronic pain? Come see Terri! She is a magician. She truly cares for your well being and has hands of the gods. She will restore your body back to ground zero and you will feel like a whole new person afterwards. She has a full education on the human anatomy and all the connective tissues, muscles and tendons. I came in today with the impression that I was "good" and had no aches or pains. However, shortly after starting Terri pointed out all the areas that were tight and strained. After an hour she set me straight and released all the tension in my body. After our session I feel refreshed, taller and like I had just come home from a lazy and relaxing vacation. I cannot recommend her enough! If I had the funds I would see her every week just to maintain this awesome feeling! Please come see her if you have any aches or pains! Especially if you have any chronic issues!!! Not only is she a magician, she has a team of other magicians that encompass whole body wellness, including an acupuncturist! read more

I was given a free massage for Terri and she really did a great job and helped me recover from an injury. Thank you so much Terri!

I'm a professional athlete who is constantly in need of "body work." Whether it's to maintain or to work out some sort of knot/injury. I've been to a plethora of different therapist and I can tell you that Terri has an amazing touch. She has the knowledge and skills to work on hard to get muscles but a complimentary soft touch that is relaxing and therapeutic at the time. The location is inside Team Oyama MMA & Fitness. This is convenient for me as one of their athletes but is a great environment for anyone. The energy inside the gym is always up-beat and the people you come into contact with range from high-level athletes to normal business people looking to get into shape. However, the constant is the feel and overall happy vibe. Terri's quiet and comfortable therapy room is a tucked away oasis from the high energy & upbeat gym just outside the doors. Inside you will find a clean, beautifully decorated area w/candles, soft playing music, and a relaxing smell of different calming &therapeutic oils. I can't wait to go back for my next session and I highly recommend you give her a try as well. read more

I have received massages in the past but none like the ones I receive from Terri! Shes not your typical pamper massage. She actually targets your pains and fixes you. I have been having back problems for the longest time and have tried icing and a heating pad and nothing helped it. Until I met Terri! Not only is she a sweetheart, she cured me of my back pain and told me how it was possibly caused and how I can take better care of my body. She has helped not only Kick Boxers and Ju Jitsu fighters but she helps average people like me who workout throughout the week. I recommend her with all my heart and to EVERY person I know who is having pain in their body. Thank you for always helping me Terri! read more

Terri is a highly educated, highly skillful massage therapist. She really knows her stuff when it comes to anatomy. She knows how to find many of the underlying reasons why our bodies are not aligned and knows how to fix them. I've seen Terri three times and each time my appointments get better. I'm extremely happy Terri's practice is located close to me because this woman is a miracle worker and she always does a really great job. read more

I've gone to Terri about 5 times now and I've got to say I feel like a different person every time I walk out. The whole massage is a full 1 hour. Not 40-45 minutes, you're getting the full 60 minutes. Don't come in thinking that you'll be a getting a nice, relaxing massage like most places. This one is going to get out all your knots and stresses. She asks you what your problem areas are and she works at them until their gone. It's not the greatest feeling, but it does the job. Like the name states, you'll be restoring your body. read more

The best massage I have ever had! Very relaxing and therapeutic! Terri is wonderful and the massage was tailored exactly to my needs. Thank you again and sorry for the late review. read more

I had my first massage at Body Restore today. Terri is amazing! I've had a few injuries due to muscle tightness over the past couple of months. My doctor recently recommended that I scheduled a deep tissue massage. Several of the fighters at Team Oyama recommended Body Restore. I figured, who would know more about dealing with fitness injuries than professional fighters. It was incredible! Terri is excellent at her craft. I walked out feeling more relaxed than I have felt in a LONG TIME. With her help, I will be back on the mat in no time. Thank you Terri for providing such a wonderful service! I look forward to my next session. read more

Terrie is a different kind of massage therapist who focuses on pain management. I first went to see Terrie because I had a numbing pain in my thumb and elbow that I thought was carpal tunnel syndrome. After she worked on my shoulders and neck the pain was gone. I now go back for maintenance about once a month. I highly recommend Terrie. read more

I did physical therapy and all the stretching I was supposed to do... that didn't help. Terri is a miracle worker! I have piriformis syndrome and as much as I stretch and do what I'm supposed to do, I still have flare ups. Terri is the only thing that helps my sciatica and can find my problem areas before I even know about them. She always checks in to see how I am feeling after appointments. She is such an amazing and kind person, you will not regret making an appointment with her! read more

I came to Terri for the first time a couple weeks ago and it was honestly the best massage I've ever had! I'm in nursing school and constantly under stress.
