I was brought back from the waiting room within a few minutes of scheduled appointment times. Dr Wallington was very professional and friendly and was able to get me scheduled for for both cortisone shots before my deductible reset at the beginning of the year and saved me a ton of money. I was having knee and hip pain due to not being able to activate my right glute properly and the rest of my body overcompensating for it. My squat and deadlift were struggling as a result. Over the last month I've had monumental improvement in my lifts, as well as, no more pain! Cami has made an effort to give me exercises that I can work into my programs. I must say I have no regrets about being referred here. The waiting time was minimal most of the time and the receptionists were always friendly and accomadating. His Dr. was Dr. Walick and she was a true professional and worked well with our son. She gave us options as far as to choose surgery or not, and really left the options to wait and see up to us. We opted for surgery which was performed at Skyridge medical center . All in all we are happy with the treatment we've received since we've been here all of 6 weeks . She also does not follow direction well, we asked for a two week appointment, she tried to schedule us the following week and then rolled her eyes at me when I told her that wasn't what we needed. I cant prove it, but I am 99% positive she is the same person who scheduled us way too early to take our casts off, which resulted in a very painful 2 hour traumatizing experience for my kiddo that was unnecessary and resulted in having to put the casts back on. A Disappointing Decline in Patient Service…read more I had been a patient of Orthopedic Associates several times in the past and had generally been comfortable recommending its surgeons. Unfortunately, after returning in August 2026, my experience with Orthopedic Centers of Colorado, its new name, was significantly different. The decline in the overall patient experience was noticeable. The office I visited appeared worn and in need of better maintenance, including worn chairs, areas that did not appear clean, and patient rooms that seemed disorganized. For a medical practice of this caliber, the condition of the facility made a poor impression. The more significant issue, however, was customer service and communication. My interactions with front-office staff felt rude and dismissive. When I used terminology they considered incorrect while explaining what I needed, I felt I was corrected rather than assisted. Patients visiting an orthopedic practice may already be dealing with considerable pain, so courteous and patient communication is important. Reaching the office by phone was also difficult. Several calls went unanswered, and I eventually drove to the office in person to obtain assistance. When I asked why it was so difficult to reach someone, I was told that the office was understaffed. Understaffing may explain the difficulty, but it did not resolve the problem. Patients should be able to reach the office regarding appointments, test results, and follow-up care without having to appear in person. These experiences ultimately led me to seek care elsewhere. I transferred my MRI and medical records to Panorama Orthopedics, where my experience has been substantially better. I have been treated respectfully, communication has been prompt, and I have been able to focus on addressing my orthopedic condition rather than trying to establish basic communication with the office. This was particularly disappointing because Orthopedic Associates had previously been a practice I trusted and recommended. I recognize that there are excellent physicians associated with the organization, but quality medical care also depends on responsive, respectful, and well-organized patient support. I hope OCC leadership will review its staffing levels, telephone responsiveness, front-office interactions, and facility conditions. If you are considering OCC and communication and follow-up are important to you, I recommend comparing it with other options. In my case, transferring my care to Panorama Orthopedics was the right decision.

In my experience most places that take traditional insurance do not have the same philosophy and can only focus on one target area. I am overweight and never felt shamed or told to lose weight at anytime. I have not always had the same experience with other providers, so it was refreshing. Andrew got to the root cause of my symptoms and provided me with stretches and exercises to help alleviate pain and improve my workout goals. I am able to squat lower and lift heavier than I ever have before. My endurance for walking and day to day activities has improved greatly as well. I was told I would get super bills and letters of medical necessity. After months of delays and saying they will provide them, that they will not. Now they say "We don't do them." He may be able to help your pain but do not believe for a moment that they will do anything except run your credit card and collect the cash.
