I'm only giving it 2 stars for the strawberries. My cousin and I went and my cousin had a panic attack after explicitly telling our massage therapist (yes 1 for 2 ppl, ugh) that she was claustrophobic. This didn't stop the therapist from making her immobile on the table due to the towels and causing her to freak. I was on my back for at least an hour and have had back problems ever since because of this "massage". My cousin also had fresh tattoos that she didn't want touched, regardless our therapist slathered the tattoos with salts which has caused problems. At least my cousin and I bonded from our trauma that this massage caused. The cherry on top? Having to water board ourselves in the shower after to get that freakin butter out. We weren't even warned, but hey the free towel and the mediocre desserts were worth it. Also be warned that the house looks like Mrs. Clause from hell threw up on it. I had my first massage here last week. It has a great feeling inside. Very relaxing. Amazing beds with music in them. I did have one issue but the owner contacted me right away, apologized, and even sent me a gift card. Now that's customer service and I greatly appreciate a business like this! Please go alone, with your loved one or friends!! I don't recommend the hair treatment. My experience at Body Harmony was absolutely divine! I have had several massages throughout my life, and have NEVER had a better massage than this one! It is worth the drive. Love everything about it! The atmosphere, the bed, soothing music that you pick out yourself that vibrates the bed gently, therapists are extremely professional, sea salt sprinkled that makes your skin feel so refreshed, the melted shea butter (I cannot say enough about this), and the dead sea mud facial ... all of it is absolutely the most relaxing massage ever! And Valerie, kindest woman I've ever met. She becomes your best friend from the moment you meet. I've told everyone about this place! Taking a family vacation in August. I'm most excited about my two daugthers (DIL and "bonus" daugther) that have never had a massage. What better place to take them. This is the 2nd year in a row that we have done a girls' trip in Broken Bow and both years we have planned our trip around appointments at Body Harmony Spa. We won't book our cabin until we have spa appointments confirmed because it is THAT spectacular. This isn't just a massage it is an experience. From the minute you walk in, the ladies are super sweet and want to make you feel at home. The cucumber water is so refreshing and just sets the tone for the relaxation you need. From asking about music selections, temperatures, ceiling fans, pressure etc, the entire staff is ready to make sure the everything is to your preference. The slippers are heaven. The robes are comfy and lets not forget about the Twisty Turbies that you get to take home afterwards with your Cup of Joy. There is not one single thing I would improve on at this place. This is definitely the center of our bookings and will continue to be so every year. I cannot recommend this place enough. I visit spas often and absolutely love this place the most for relaxation. The shea butter drizzle is heavenly and my skin/hair never felt better afterwards. Price doesn't bother me at all because of the relaxed state I leave there in. If you are ever in the area, I definitely recommend making an appointment but you will need to plan pretty far in advance. It is worth every penny spent and every minute spent planning it. I have had all kinds of massages in my life and this is not too impressive. The selling point is shear butter and dead sea salt on your body for massages. The session supposed to be 90 mins for $150. Let me just say that the massage was not 90 mins. The therapist left me in the room at the end for about 5 mins and came back to get me up. When I looked at the clock after I got up, it was about 85 mins (so with that 5 mins resting time, the massage was 10 mins shorter than expected) Then, they gave me a brownie treat so I guess when they say 90 mins, that's including the treat time. I do give them some credits for the decor and atmosphere. probably will not go back again. read more

LOVE THIS EXPERIENCE! We go on a girlfriends weekend to Broken Bow twice a year, and Body Harmony tops our list of objectives. We have requests each time as to temperature and ceiling fans, etc and they are always cheerfully honored. The shea butter drizzle and hot towels are heaven and my skin is always very smooth and happy after the salt rub. We especially enjoy the dark lighting and the fact that the therapists don't try to chat with you during the massage. Don't go looking for a deep tissue or "just my shoulders" massage. They are very clear in their advertising what the "experience" consists of. You will leave relaxed and refreshed! read more

He was unsure what it would be like and would he be uncomfortable, and let me just say he LOVED it and so did I! We visited Body Harmony Spa during our recent anniversary trip to Broken Bow. Everything about the experience was ideal for both of us (I'm a lifelong spa enthusiast but my husband was a first-timer). As we approached the front door, it was opened for us and we were greeted with cucumber water and a tour of the beautifully decorated facility...very homey and relaxing. We were then shown to our private bathroom and suite and given a quick summary of what to expect. Not only was the treatment itself relaxing and indulgent, the overall atmosphere pampered us in every regard. We both loved it and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area. It all ended with a delicious plate of chocolate covered strawberries and pastries before we posed for a photo to remember this special time we spent together. Body Harmony Spa is a unique experience to say the least... Warm, melted African Shea butter is drizzled and massaged into on your skin & scalp, followed by an exhiiarating exfoliation scrub using Dead Sea salt snow flakes - all choreographed to your choice of relaxing spa music! Wait - there's more! Can there actually be more??? Yes..... the spa bed is a 12 inch memory foam with music vibration therapy. My hubs and I recently enjoyed the romance package at BHS and left feeling pampered and renewed with some wonderful new friendships. Valerie and Charmie were awesome and made us feel right "at home." We enjoyed a light snack of chocolate covered cherries, a decadent chocolate cake square, cucumber water and a glass of Girls Gone Wine Shiraz. One of the better massages I've had if your goal is relaxation. They use natural quality products. The atmosphere is wonderful and relaxing. I love the music and vibrating table. My only complaint is the price but I knew it when I booked it. They do go above and beyond with flavored water, a gift turban and chocolate covered strawberries. read more

My husband and I went to Body Harmony Spa this past weekend and it was amazing. We were greeted with very friendly staff immediately. We were served cold cucumber water which was delicious before being taken on a brief spa tour. This ended in our room...the tranquility room. It was dark and relaxing. We had the 90 minute romance package. It starts out with Hot Shea Butter Oil poured on you which was heaven! It is massaged in and then topped with hot towels. Secondly, a mud mask is painted on to your face for your facial. Then Sea Salt is massaged on to you and covered with more hot towels. There is no talking during the session which I loved! I have had massages before and had to answer questions and it really distracted from the relaxation process. This is not the case at Body Harmony Spa. They are wonderful at making you feel pampered. Last but not least after all the towels are removed you are given a robe and slippers and hair turbine to wear while you enjoy fruit water, brownie with whip cream and chocolate covered strawberries. It was great. We live 2 1/2 hours away and it would be worth the drive to me to drive up just for this experience! My husband said " He is guessing this must be better than crack cocaine"...lol! It is worth every penny and moment that you spend at Body Harmony Spa! I highly recommend this spa! It should be the top thing to do in the Broken Bow Area in my opinion. read more

I don't recommend paying 150$ for chocolate covered strawberries. The Shea butter was nice but I don't have any feeling in my hair, so massaging it with oil is pointless. The sea salts were applied sparingly and only to my hands and feet. I went there with tension in my shoulders that I wanted addressed and unfortunately it hadn't come to my attention that the therapist was only certified from the Body Harmony school, so she wasn't qualified to (or motivated to) help me with tense muscles. They do not spend 90 minutes rubbing you, they insist that you tour the house (which IS lovely) and leave you sitting 10 minutes or so waiting in a room for the therapist. And when you're ready to leave (& have your head examined) they give you a little bag of Joy dish soap because you're going to need help getting that junk out of your hair. Oh, and the table~ that is supposed to be vibrating in unison with the music, only engages if the music is turned up too loud to be relaxing. read more

A unique experience for sure. My boyfriend and i came to Broken Bow for weekend getaway and decided to get a massage at the local spa there. Not knowing what Broken Bow was about we booked a couples massage. We were given in depth details about the massage and what to expect. Upon arriving to the Spa which was tucked away in the back of a trailer park.......not too appealing. Directions were a little sketchy. We were greeting at the door with a cold glass of water (lemon I think). We were told to have a seat on the couch and what seemed like forever we were finally given a tour of the house. By this time it was past our time for our massage and taken to our rooms where we were given instructions to get on the bed. Beds were not impressive as told earlier, We couldn't' really feel any vibration from the music. When getting on the bed my feet felt gritty from dirty floor.....hadn't had any massage done yet at this point. After the massage which i wasn't impressed with...just lots of rubbing and wiping off salts we were taken out to kitchen area and revived with a chocolate dessert......our plates had fingerprints on them!!!!!! YUK! Very overrated and over priced. read more
