I get there and I don't have a smart phone to scan the QR code. I had to fill out 5 pages of paperwork. I turn it in and the girl said they needed a credit or debit card on file before they can see me. I'm currently unemployed and have neither. So she refused to see me because it is their "policy". These people don't consider the demographics of Dequeen. Most are poor, unemployed, or don't trust banks to hold their money so they carry cash. I needed URGENT CARE! They need to rename themselves to URGENT MONEY because that's all they CARE about! How many people are stupid enough to give somebody their credit card information? Let's say you give them a card and you are running short for a week. You can't pay their bill, but since they have your card information on file, they can take whatever you have, whenever they want. I'll save you some time and you can just give me your card information. I always wondered why they never had any patients there when I'd drive by the place...now I know! NEGATIVE 5 STARS! Change your policy or CLOSE YOUR BUSINESS!

This place is a joke. The wait time is ridiculous. Waited 2 hrs for a work requested drug screen…read more If I didn't want this new job so bad you can be sure I would have left. The receptionist clearly can't add or read a schedule. After an hour I asked how much longer. She said I had one in front of me. I watched more people that walked in after me go back 1st. So I watched another hour plus go by. The upside it gave me plenty of time to leave this lengthy review as the annoying people behind me tried their best to hear their phones of the music and tv playing in the waiting room. Not an enjoyable experience. I may add quality of care later if I ever get the chance to pee here. It made me add a star, it wasn't my first choice. Finally got to pee after 2 hours of waiting. Also got to watch the Nurse and doctor struggle over how to print the original and patient verification forms from a tablet to a printer for 5 minutes. I am required to witness that verification form to be sealed with my UA . All in all no urgency of care happening here. I guess we were lucky I could hold my pee for the 1 hour drive and the 2 hour wait.

Recently returned to McCurtain area after 25 years and since Dr Salyer had been doctor to my…read moregrandparents, Flossie & Leon Whitaker as well as my mother, Peggy Whitaker I felt comfortable in selecting him as my Primary doctor for colds, well checks or other general concerns. Instead I was very rudely & extremely humiliated by his staff member & wife, Wanda Salyer who is not a medical professional or people person at all. I initially had my medical paperwork forwarded from OKC to Idabel for that purpose only while I researched what Neurologist to sign with in this area since I have had Relapsing Multiple Sclerosis since 9/2000. I also have to utilize a pain doctor but neither of those reasons was my intention with Dr Salyer. Another one of his office assistants, Leslie was very professional & helpful and informed she will be on lookout for all my medical documents that may arrive from OKC regarding me. Unfortunately once documentation did arrive in Dr Salyer's office his wife & staff member immediately told me Dr Salyer was now not accepting new patients & especially pain management patients. Remember that was not my purpose for wanting to use him & as I attempted to explain that to Wanda Salyer she became extra extremely rude and hung up on me. So I tried to call back & see if I could come get my medical paperwork to give to another doctor & was again met with same rude rhetoric from this lady who has no business working in a medical office. The stigma associated with rampant drug use in McCurtain County does not pertain to all because if she had taken the time to review my record she would have sawvthe following: *I have private Federal health insurance not Medicaid/Medicare *For 16 years after my MS diagnosis I never took any sort of pain medicine until 2016 when the pain became uncontrollable then I was referred to Pain Management doctor by my Neurologist in 2016 since he was also retiring at end of the year after our decade of history together & wanted me to have best care possible without lots of unnecessary drugs I find it awfully sad that things have come to the state it is at between health providers & patients. The main point that needs to be stressed if the health provider that is the MD should always keep respectful, compassionate staff on hand & not judges. There is a separate governmental department that is trained to do that.
