The trainers and entire staff at the The Transformation Center in Williamsville were absolutely amazing. After the first day of training I didn't know how I was going to keep this up for the entire time but after about 3 workouts I realized I could do it. I can honestly so that there is absolutely no way I would ever be able to push myself at the gym like I did while in the 6-week challenge. I've been a lot of different gyms and facilities and can honestly say the trainers there really know what they are doing. I learned the proper form for exercises and "when" to eat "what" so that I could reach my goals. Before starting the challenge I had trouble sleeping, was stressed and was really out of shape. In 6 weeks my sleep habits completely changed and I consistently got 7+ hours of straight-sleep, something I hadn't done in years. I was more focused at work and happier at home. I had more patience with at work and at home with my kids. My eating habits were transformed and I was never "hungry". I felt more energized and ready to tackle every day head on. In 6 weeks I lost a total of 31 pounds, dropped over 5% body fat and I feel great. I learned eating habits that I'm going to continue and learned the proper form to so many great exercises. If you're looking to lose weight and keep it off, DO THIS CHALLENGE! It is absolutely amazing as long as you follow the plan to a tee! I highly recommend!

I had my 6-week weigh in this morning and am so happy! I am well on my way to health, and there's no way I'm stopping now! Down 33 pounds so far! 6 weeks ago (and for years before that), I was disgusted with myself and was genuinely afraid that I had let myself go so much that there was no possible rescue or remedy. My doctor had suggested gastric-bypass surgery; I ached walking down stairs; I was a good wife and daughter and aunt and teacher and friend, but I always felt like there was a little asterisk after my positive qualities - a hugely obvious weakness and vulnerability for which I blamed myself every day. But I always made excuses anyway/thought that people who were fit and healthy were just "better" than I was in some fundamental way. I was ashamed of my weight but often comforted myself/rewarded myself with junk food, a cycle that made the problem worse with each passing day. But what I didn't know then that I know now is that committing to eating well and exercising makes you feel AMAZING! And confident! And accomplished! That the hard work and discipline yields real results. No pills, no surgery, no special foods, no starving myself until weigh-in and then bingeing afterwards...just protein/vegetable/fruit & protein/vegetable/fruit again and again and again for every meal until the fruit tastes SO sweet and a small portion is so satisfying and the joints don't ache anymore and the skin clears up and the pants get loose and the cravings practically go away. And the workouts. I thought I wasn't a workout person, thought it would be impossible to get out of bed. But now it is my routine. It's what I do. I am a person who works out, not someone who intends to. Not someone who joins a gym and never goes (as I have done for years!). I am so much stronger than I was 6 weeks ago. I have SO far to go, but I really have transformed into someone who wants and needs exercise. It makes me feel so good! I have tried so many times to lose weight and to "be good," and it's always been temporary and always felt like a chore and I always felt deprived and I always got a little madder at myself each time I failed to stick with it. But the accountability of this program and the giftedness of the trainers (correcting form, offering so much encouragement) and the amazing kindness and welcome from the members and other challengers has made me feel so lucky to be committed to something so wonderful. I am so incredibly grateful and happy and can't wait to crush challenges 2 and 3 over the next 12 weeks! Thank you Tom, Matt, Seton, Joe, and especially Nick...thank you to the amazing 5:30 am crew...thank you to all of my family, friends, colleagues and students for cheering me on and for being so happy for me! I have moved from a sense of shame to a sense of pride, and I am filled with energy and JOY! Thank you, Body and Soul Transformations!

Joining the Transformation Center was one of the best decisions I've made in a long time. I had tried many other diets and fads, but the "6 week, 20 pounds challenge" gave me a tangible and realistic goal to make small changes through eating clean and working out to reach fat loss. My first challenge was a success as I lost 28.6 pounds and started a lifelong journey towards maintaining a healthier lifestyle. During the first challenge, I was challenged physically each workout feeling accomplished by the end of our hour long session. I prepped meals with enthusiasm, sharing recipes and words of encouragement with other members who also took on the journey. The people and atmosphere make the experience what it is. Everyone bonds together to get through each workout, to talk through specific issues you may be having and many friendships are formed. My second challenge, I truly leaned on these friendships as it was more of a mental challenge for me. The weight was still coming off, but at a slower pace. The program continued to work, but we each had to push harder for our results. In the end, I lost 20.6 pounds for a total of 49.2 pounds lost. It wasn't easy, but I made it. Now, I focus my efforts on making better choices. I've learned that this is a lifelong journey, and I never want to go back to where I started. I feel so much more energetic, so much more focused and I know that I can do anything I put my mind to!

What can I say about Body and Soul Fitness? They gave me the kick in the rear that I needed to get myself in better shape. I'm disappointed that I needed $500 being taken away from me and dangled in front of my face for me to make the necessary changes to get in shape, but the fact of the matter is, I did. I'm sure many of you are in the same boat. I'm happy to report that it worked. I stuck with the program because I told myself (and others) that I AM NOT losing that $500! The diet was strict, and many times I was "sick of it." But I was more sick of being unhappy with my body. I was sick of getting winded walking up stairs, having trouble tying my shoes, and feeling like my wife didn't find me attractive anymore. Sticking to the meal plan was challenging, but I started seeing results FAST. I lost 10 lbs in the first week! I honestly could not believe it. My body adjusting that quickly proved to me how poorly I had been treating it lately. You eat whole, real foods. Eggs, meat, fish, fruits, vegetables, and some nuts. Very satisfying, filling, foods that make you lose weight! The workouts are where the program really shines. You get in, have fun, work your butt off, and before you know it, it's over. You're dripping with so much sweat that one of the trainers comes up and asks you if you just got out of the pool. The workouts are fun, intense, and they fly by. The group atmosphere is awesome, and I felt like I was making friends with the people working out around me. We would cheer each other on and commiserate through the pain. My body adjusted quickly; week one I was doing level one, weeks 2-3 level 2, and weeks 4-6 I even found myself bumping up to level 3. Anyone, any age, any physical ability can do this program. All of the workouts are scalable to any intensity. Would I recommend the 6-Week Transformation Challenge at Body and Soul Fitness? Absolutely. In fact, I already have to a couple of my friends and coworkers! I can't adequately express the positive impact losing 20 lbs has had on my self-esteem, confidence, mood, and health. This isn't just about physical health. Every time I got a compliment on how I was looking better, my confidence shot through the roof. One of the most exciting benefits of the program was wanting to go clothes shopping for great looking clothes afterwards! Thanks Body and Soul. You really do change lives. -Adam Batt

When I think back on my weight journey over the course of the past ten years, I am both terrified and unbelievably proud. I am terrified that I didn't see the warning signs sooner, that I waited as long as I did to get help, and that I treated something as precious as my own body with such disregard. However, to see how far I've come in just 6 weeks is such a gift and makes the roller coster of a journey totally worth it. My weight gain was a slow and steady process. Every couple of years, I would notice clothes not fitting anymore and needing to go up a size. The holidays were very telling for me because I would get these beautiful new clothes as presents, and often have to return them because they didn't fit. I started to dread going shopping for fear of finding out what size I really was. My confidence started to plummet and it impacted my relationships. I had so much desire to change my lifestyle, but wasn't able to find a nutrition and fitness program that I could really stick with. Within the past year, my father passed away after a short battle with cancer. It was devastating. While I had an amazing emotional support system of friends and family, I still found myself turning to food for comfort at times. I found it nearly impossible to keep my food cravings under control. I was eating out almost every day and wasting money on junk food. At one point I stepped on a scale and realized that I was the heaviest at that moment in my entire life. It was a startling wake up call. I saw an ad on Facebook for Body & Soul Fitness and, to be honest, was very skeptical. I assumed all of those ads were scams and even if it was legit, I had not had luck in the past with weight loss programs. What would be different this time around? However, something struck a cord with me, so I decided to attend the orientation session for their 6 week 20 pound challenge. I was in awe with Trevor's passion and extensive research that he had done. Most importantly, I was surrounded by success stories. I realized that this man had developed a program that really could work for ANYONE. Everything that he incorporated into the fitness and nutrition components of the program has a strong evidence base to support its effectiveness. I felt very comfortable adopting these methods and empowered to make a positive change in my life. Six weeks later, I am now one of his latest success stories! I have so much gratitude for all of the staff and other members for their immense support during this challenge. I am incredibly proud of myself for finally putting me first and accomplishing this goal. I cannot wait to continue shedding the pounds and sticking with Body & Soul for many years to come.

I had an incredibly positive experience with my first 6 week challenge. The workouts were challenging, but a great deal of fun. The trainers are awesome and those in my class that I had the pleasure to share this journey with were equally awesome. The environment is positive, supportive and truly motivating. The meal plan is quite basic (you eat clean for 6 weeks - basically a protein, veggie and fruit with each meal) and the exercise plan consists of 5, 1 hour group training sessions per week. I lost 26lbs in 6 weeks, but more than that I feel happier, healthier and more confident. You get out of it, what you put in. If you trust in and follow the process it really works. If you already know that you can't follow directions, are completely opposed to breaking a sweat and really don't like having fun (or feeling healthy) then perhaps this program isn't for you. I am proud to say I have lost 22 pounds on the 6 week challenge! I have noticed a lot of changes from the way my clothes fit, to how healthy my skin feels, to just feeling GREAT! I no longer need cappuccino in the morning to get going, and I noticed that I do not have a lull mid day like I used to. I'm not going to lie, it wasn't always easy, and if my husband and I didn't do this together, I'm not positive I would have made it. But it was absolutely worth it! I am so proud of myself and completely thankful to all the staff and trainers. They are truly the backbone to this program, and without their motivation and encouragement, I wouldn't be where I am today! Big thanks to you all! I succeeded at the lose 20 pounds in 6 weeks challenge. It was a great experience that I shared with my daughter before she left for college. She was also successful. Great gym and great trainers! I loved it so much I joined the gym for one year. Now all I need to do is maintain and hopefully in the future do another member challenge for 3 weeks to lose 10 additional pounds! info@bodyandsoultransformations.com www.20pounds6weeks.com

Plain and simple, The Transformation Center's 6 week 20 pound challenge works. It is not an easy walk in the park, but if you follow the damn instructions (FTDI) you will see the results. Not only will you see the results on the scale but in your life as well. When I began the challenge 6 weeks ago I was tired all the time, didn't work out, and would not consider my diet to be very good. Now I have more energy, even with working out five days a week. I actually enjoy working out for the first time in my life and my diet is much better. Some of the foods I used to enjoy now don't even look appetizing to me. The non-scale victories are even more motivating to me. First it was moving in the belt one notch. Then going down a shirt size. Then it was people starting to notice that I was losing weight, even when I couldn't see it. The other day, I finally gave in and bought new pants for work, down 2 sizes!! I feel better about myself than I have in years! I would honestly say that even if I hadn't lost the weight, the motivation and happiness that this program has brought me would totally have been worth it. I clearly must like it, I just signed up for round two! Time to begin another challenge, and lose even more weight, and gain even more! This second challenge I am going to take body measurements as well to see how many inches I can lose!

I did the 6weeks 20 pound challenge 1/4/16-2/13/16 and lost 26.4 pounds. Thrilled with the weight loss but also learned so much from this experience. The workouts are amazing, the trainers are all awesome, and the nutrition plan is easy to read. There is also a private group you join on Facebook that is so helpful and made some great new friends. Thank you Dr. Joe, Seton, Mike, Danny, and Nick for all the guidance and push to do a little more and also accommodate when needed. See you all in my second challenge in May!

Second chances...you only get so many in life; that's why I plan on taking full advantage of this one. I had success with Body & Soul fitness in the past (I lost 38 pounds!), then I stopped going, lost focus of my diet and found myself weighing the most at any time in my life. Not everyone's health/weight loss journey is linear, especially mine, it has more ups and downs than the Alps! So, I found myself tired, unable to run, bike or play with my granddaughter without being completely winded. I reached out to Trevor and asked if he'd be willing to give a second chance. Thankfully, they really do care about transforming lives and I was given another opportunity to get fit and change my life direction. It was time to take care of me...I just finished my six week challenge and was down 30.8 pounds and 3% body fat in just SIX weeks! I can't tell you the numerous hours I've spent in gyms on stationary bikes, treadmills, and elliptical machines. They got me nowhere fast-quite literally. I've never had a trainer in one of the gyms that knew my name, not one. At Body & Soul, ALL of the trainers (Joe, Seton, Nick, Tom, Matt) know your name after a workout or two; it makes you feel like your health is important to them too! That doesn't mean that they will take it easy on you. Be prepared to be challenged, encouraged and motivated more than you can imagine. Can't do a push up? Guess what, neither could I. But, there are different levels that everyone can do. As you became better, you can advance and challenge yourself with higher levels. At my very first class (and before every class), we begin with stretching and warmup. I was a mess, so much so, that sweat was pouring from my body after the WARM UP!! I was extremely disappointed in myself that I let myself go, but Seton offered some positive reinforcement for me and kept me focused on the future, not my past. B&S is not a place for social hour, but I've met so many great people here. Many of us are on the same journey and are working on devoting time every day to better themselves. Having a friend by your side to cheer you on or to inspire you to do your best makes all the difference. I highly recommend Body & soul fitness to anyone like me that want so much more in life and are not going to let bad health stop me from enjoying my family and friends. Take the 6 week. 20 pound challenge and get ready to be challenged in ways you never imagined. This isn't just a physical transformation; it's also mental. You'll need mind and body strength to re-learn your relationship with food and make it through some of the workouts! In the end, you may be cursing yourself, your trainers and anyone else in the immediate area, but once you scrape yourself off the floor, you'll feel really proud of what you just accomplished. I know I do!

Thank You Body and Soul Transformation ! I was not a fat kid. In fact I never struggled with my weight until later in life..menopause. I tried several different diets, personal trainers, I felt I was eating healthier and yet the weight just kept piling on. I was very depressed and self conscious about my weight. I heard about the 6 week 20lb challenge and thought why not. I'll give it a try. I was skeptical going in. What's the catch here? How good are these trainers? Do they really want me to succeed? Week one was an eye opener. The workouts were really hard and the trainers pushed me beyond what I thought my abilities were. The diet was even harder. As the weeks went on the workouts got easier and I was able to push myself even harder and I enjoyed it! My fellow challengers were great support emotionally and with food tips. I not only watched the scale go down but my body was definitely changing! I felt better, stronger and thinner! At the end of 6 weeks yes I lost 22.2 pounds but it's not what I lost but what I gained . I was empowered by this whole process. More self confident and determined that I will continue this journey of health and weight loss. This was one of the hardest things I have ever done and the most rewarding. I am so thankful to you all! Yes! This program works. Yes! The trainers are awesome and really care and want you to succeed!

To be honest, I was very skeptical of the 6 week program. I've known 5 people who have gone through the program prior to me. I did it because I was curious, I wanted to see if it was really worth all of the hype. Day 1 I was cautiously optimistic and FTDI (followed the damn instructions). After week 1, I was down 7 pounds. I was shocked, it gave me some momentum to keep going. I loved the workouts, loved being told what to do in the gym setting. I quickly bonded and became friends with other challengers, trainers, and other members. I truly felt like I was a part of the Body & Soul family! I had great success with this program, I would highly recommend it to anyone... Especially anyone who is a hard skeptic. I have nothing but great things to say about the program, I was honestly sad when it was over!

I just finished my 6 week challenge and have to admit that I highly recommend the program. The meal plan was very clear as to what was allowed and not allowed for each meal. There were enough choices and variety to get through the 6 weeks, but most of all the changes made to my diet were seen on the scale immediately! The first week alone (when my body was in utter shock), I lost 7 pounds! From that moment on, there was no doubt in my mind that the program worked. In terms of the exercise plan, it is the most efficient 1 hour workout I have ever done. I used to work out regularly on my own prior to the challenge but the classes Body and Soul offer and high intensity workouts where I am performing a perfect mix of cardio and strength moves. The trainers are excellent, personable, and challenged me regularly to increase my weights in order to get stronger. Lastly, the overall atmosphere of the people at Body and Soul is so encouraging. We are all there for the same place and I have to say that I met some great friends along the way. If you are looking to drop some pounds or become leaner, Body and Soul is the place to go. I highly recommend you stop by, check it out, talk to the trainers, and get on your way to a fitter, leaner, healthier you! read more
Full disclosure, I joined this group of studios. I tried them last year and found it too pricy. But then as I went around to other places in town, I just kept thinking about this workout format and the way I felt after doing some of the workouts. I did a trial run earlier this summer, and just bit the bullet and joined after that. As a result, Ive been to this studio a number of times recently, I found tis location to be perfect some days. Its much smaller than the Tonawanda location, which is good and bad. Good because there are fewer people in each class, bad because its often full for each class. Ive never been here with more than one instructor, and at Tonawanda's there is almost always 2, if not three but I imagine that has to do with size of class. The format is this - They create 6 workouts (Mon-Sat) which they then do for 4 weeks. Each workout is designed to hit different areas of the body, and some days have more weight and less cardio than others, they mix it up. Each class starts with the same tape to get everyone stretched out and ready for the next 50 min. Then there is a short cardio burst to get the blood flowing, and a longer section with some burpees or squats or whatever they think of. Then you pay attention while the instructor shows you what each exercise of the day is. By week four those demos don't take quite as long, but they still cover them all each day, and show you the various different levels for each exercise. Well trained group of instructors. Then the class starts, usually that portion is between 22-25 min. as you go from exercise to exercise. There may be some sort of 3 min end exercise, they often involve squats Ive found. Then the same cool down tape plays and everyone does that. Class ends as the instructor brings everyone into the middle for a "tip of the day". Sometimes those are super interesting, other times they are so-so. I don't think those are spelled out from corporate, I think they make them up themselves, which could explain why some are better than others. They have improved their website experience by joining mindbody, so that's nice. There is another location coming in Cheektowaga this fall. I look forward to checking that out too. This place is the home of the "6 weeks 20 lbs" challenge, and you'll have challengers in most classes. I cannot stress enough how much support these people get from the instructors and members in their goals. Most hit the goals if they show up to class and follow the diet plan. If you want to come try a class, PM me and Ill see if I can help make that happen. read more
These workouts are some of the best I have ever had. They are 1 hour long and you workout every inch of your body. The trainers are attentive and will push you. They have the infamous 6 week 20 lb challenge where you get your money back if you succeed, just make sure you read the small print before you join so you know what you need to do to get your money back. But honestly, even if you don't. I feel like these workouts are worth it! read more

I have to say that I'm also surprised at the negative reviews. I've been meaning to review the new location (their other location is in East Aurora), so here goes... If you've read my review of the EA location, you know I'm a fan and that I think this program rocks. I've been a member for over two years now and switched over to the Williamsville location since it is closer to my house than trucking out to EA 3x a week. The new location is gorgeous. The room size is great, even when class is full you don't feel too crowded. All of the equipment is new, so that's a plus too (I love fresh dumbbells!). Now on to the staff -- Trevor, Tom & Nick (and Ashley) are great to work with. In over two years, I've never had a problem they couldn't make right for me. Whether it's tweaking the nutrition plans to fit your tastes or any restrictions/limitations, or fixing your form during the workouts, or responding to questions via their Facebook pages. Bottom line, this place has gotten me results I could have never gotten on my own. Three years ago I was an overweight, out of shape asthmatic smoker (smart right?) who basically lived off of take out, since I had no idea how to cook. Fast forward to now, I'm 36lbs less than I was (am working on taking some of that off again as I just had a baby), my nutrition is on-point, I make all of my own meals and I'm a STRONG and HEALTHY person. I've run two half marathons, and over 30 5Ks. I can run after my four year old and new baby without a problem. Oh, and the asthma? Pretty much gone. I no longer need to take a preventative medication, and I last had my rescue inhaler refilled because it expired! I understand everyone has their own experiences with businesses, but being a member as long as I have and getting to know so many other members, I will tell you that overwhelmingly people view this place in very high regard. They change lives! And make it fun and not intimidating. If I could give 100 stars I would. read more

-Adam Batt read more

I cannot wait to continue shedding the pounds and sticking with Body & Soul for many years to come. read more

Now all I need to do is maintain and hopefully in the future do another member challenge for 3 weeks to lose 10 additional pounds! info@bodyandsoultransformations.com www.20pounds6weeks.com read more

This second challenge I am going to take body measurements as well to see how many inches I can lose! read more

See you all in my second challenge in May! read more

I know I do! read more

My husband & I went to The Transformation Center consult night to sign up for a "free 6 week challenge". Walking in I didn't know what to expect, but I was willing to try anything to get stronger & healthier than I've ever been in my life. And I know nothing in life is free nor is getting healthy as simple as the press of an "easy button". Let me start by saying Trevor, the owner is very personable, honest, & a smart businessman with a great business plan. Ashley is lovely, she was able to answer all our questions and worked her way through the crowd to help everyone. She is a beautiful young woman & one lean machine! They are truly a motivating group! However, after being in a packed room of people with the same goal it was very disappointing to know you would be "chosen" to participate based on why you wanted to be part of the challenge and your ability to be able to work with Trevor personally. You will need an up front cost of $497.00 charged to your credit card to secure your free 6 week challenge. It's clearly how their business plan works for them to operate and I cannot fault them for their policy. The three people I do know that have finished and are in the process of finishing the challenge have done very well and they're on their journey to a better & healthy lifestyle. So you sign up, pay your fee, if you are chosen you will see your charge applied to your plastic card of choice. You go in, you work hard, consistency with the strict dietary guidelines and exercises are a must. You see if you work hard your money is returned to you at the end of 6 weeks. That's genius! You can then buy new clothes and sign up for additional transformation sessions. And Trevor has walking billboards! Win-win! I know if I am chosen to get into the January session I will be able to review this business again from a different point of view and raise them up to 5 stars. read more

Yes! The trainers are awesome and really care and want you to succeed! read more

I have nothing but great things to say about the program, I was honestly sad when it was over! read more

I was seeing the ad for the 6 week 20 pound weight loss challenge over and over in my FB newsfeed. I always overlooked it-20lbs in 6 weeks? Yeah right. Then I noticed a friend was doing and had to ask. She was losing weight! I was at a plateau in my weight loss journey so I decided to go to the orientation and check it out. After listening to Trevor, I was hooked. What he said made sense. Eat clean, work out, lose weight. This challenge was the best decision I've ever made. I loved the workouts. It wasn't easy, especially in the beginning when cravings were at their strongest, but I had my goals in mind. And I met both goals. I ran a half marathon, without any walking or breaks, AND I lost the 20 pounds! But the most amazing part was seeing that I lost 7% body fat! Tom and Nick are great trainers. They're always there to help you out and answer any questions. They truly care. Thank you, Body and Soul Transformation Center. I've learned so much in 6 weeks about myself, and about nutrition. I may not have 20 more pounds to do another challenge, but I'm not done yet! read more

Well I must say doing the 6 week Challenges was one of the most hectic, challenging things ive ever done in my life. It was also the most rewarding thing ive ever done! I started out doing this with my wife because we both realized our weight was getting out of control so change needed to happen. My wife happened to come across the challenge and pitched to me and I said sure it sounds like something at least worth checking out. So we went to the seminar and was blown away by the presentation. It was very moving seeing past challengers talk about their experience with the challenge and how its changed their lives. I to wanted to have that same feeling. So basically with the Challenge you pay $500 up front , and if you lose the 20 pounds in 6 weeks you get your money back. So basically you get free access to their gym and workouts 5 days a week, great advice, and a fast lane ticket to a healthy lifestyle all for free! All you have to do is follow the instructions, and you WILL succeed! I was so committed to this program not once through the 6 weeks did I have the urge to cheat whatsoever. The results proved this when I turned in a whopping 5% body fat loss to go along with 26 pounds! WOW! The workouts: A very important step in losing weight is being motivated and having fun with the workouts. I cant believe how fun and creative the workouts were! The trainers in Williamsville Nick and Tom did an amazing job of keeping everything fresh and I never dreaded showing up for a workout. I was always looking forward to it and now that the challenge is over, I miss it greatly! Both of the trainers have the perfect amount of sternness while also keeping things fun. I just want to give a big thank you to all of the staff at Body and Soul. Thanks to you I feel confident about myself again, and I have my health heading in the right direction! Who needs Drs. when all you need to do is eat healthy and it will cure most of the sicknesses we have. Speaking of the food that is one part of the program that I never got tired off. The food options were great and if you like making shakes, then you can do this! I will recommend the 6 week challenge to any of my friends that feel they need to lose weight because after experiencing it first hand and seeing how amazing the results are, why wouldn't I want everyone else to know about it. Its simple Follow the instructions, and you will succeed :) Thanks again read more

I saw a facebook friend's posts day after day that she was at the Transformation Center and I wondered just what sort of new age transforming she had gotten herself into. And then I saw her "after" picture. Amazing. I knew I needed to check it out and luckily there was an orientation in late August. Trevor started talking about what this program takes and I knew I was ready. I knew it was time to get that body back that I used to love. My pictures still blow me away. I have been going to the gym for years. I have never seen results in my body like this. I admit though, that in the last few years, I really was just going through the motions when I worked out. And I thought I was eating healthy. It turns out I just wasn't putting it together the right way. This program does that for you. All you have to do is follow the instructions. And plan ahead. There is so much support. I got to know the people who worked out next to me. I read through the posts in our facebook group every day. I looked forward to seeing Nick and Tom. Our workouts were hard, and I never left there feeling like I hadn't had a great workout. I didn't leave thinking I should have tried harder. They make you want to try harder. And it shows in all of our before and after pictures. I love looking and feeling like this! read more

I participated in the Transformation Center's 6 week weight loss program this past October-December. I first heard about this program when my best friend did it over the summer and lost over 20 pounds! I knew I could stick to the nutrition plan, but I was really concerned about the workouts. I have asthma and it is especially aggravated by intense activity. However, I found the large group training was not a problem. Don't get me wrong, it kicked my butt and there were a few times that I wanted to throw up when I left after a workout, but it didn't cause my lungs to give out on me. The trainers (Nick, Barrett, and Tom) were really helpful and didn't make me feel bad being on the lower difficulty levels of all the moves. At the same time, they didn't hesitate to push me when they saw I could handle a heavier amount of resistance. Because of my job, the only way I could get consistency in my workouts was to sign up for the 5:30am classes. While I am not missing my alarm going off at 4:45 every morning now that the challenge is over, I do miss starting the day off right with my workout. Within 6 weeks, I lost 28.2 pounds! This is the first program in over 10 years that I've actually stuck to and seen the results. I highly recommend the Transformation Center in Williamsville for anyone looking to lose weight, or just live a healthier lifestyle. Thank you!! read more

I came in with very low expectations. I've always been an old school, dirt floor, nothing but dumbbells, machines and plates type of gym rat. But a car accident a few years ago cause me to slip from my routine into a pretty significant tailspin until I hit (my opinion) rock bottom. In Feb 2014, I decided to make some drastic changes. I spent about 8 months working my way back on my own and while I had made significant progress, I thought I was time to call in some outside help. That's when I found Body and Soul Fitness. I didn't want to get stuck in some overcrowded, "cross-fit" class where all they did was teach you to grunt loud, flop around like a fish out of water and look like you were lifting something heavy. After going to an introduction seminar, I knew I found the right place. There was no sugar coating and no BS. Everything was laid out for you in a brutally honest manner. Classes were decent size, fit my schedule and are no nonsense. You are in an out in the allotted time, so downtime or distractions. Trainers Tom and Nick are very helpful and supportive. Plenty of tough love and encouragement every time I was in. So I just finished my first 6 Week 20LB challenge. Not sure if I did it right though.... I dropped 42Lbs and 6.4% body fat in 7 weeks (1 week was truncated for the November Storm and let's be honest, Thanksgiving week is a caloric s#!$show that not even the strongest person can avoid) :-) Based on the results, I've already signed up for a second @$$kicking and plenty of motivation to get back to being ripped. I still have my "regular" gym membership and use it almost daily to get BIG, but my sessions @ Body and Soul are there to get me STRONG. Highly recommended! Most of the people who have seen me after my first 6 weeks don't need to read a review. The proof is right in front of them. But seriously, who is going to pay for all of the alterations i need to make on all my Diesel Jeans??? no way those are going into the goodwill bin!!! read more

There is nothing negative I can say about this program. I am so surprised to see some of the negative comments. They cannot be any farther from the truth. I lost 21 pounds in 6 weeks. I have 4 kids and work full time. If I can do this so can you. The program is simple to follow. Trainers are motivating and help to accomplish your goals. Yes you are chosen for this challenge. I sit here writing this with tears in my eyes. It's embarrassing to have to post these pictures. Here goes nothing. My whole life I struggled with my weight. I tried every fad diet out there and failed with all of them. I always acted happy and confident about myself but in the back of my head I knew I needed change in my life. I had hit my heaviest weight ever and was so upset with myself. Three of my dearest friends asked me to be in their weddings next year. I was honored but in the back of my head all I could think about was being the huge girl in all of their wedding photos. I told myself in had to do something about it. I first heard of the transformation center by body and soul through a couple friend's who successfully completed the program. So I signed up. I thought 20lbs in 6 weeks there is no way I'm going to be able to do this. I figured I had tried everything else out there to try to loss weight why not give this a shot. I went into the challenge with doubts about not being able to follow it to the T. I was worried I wouldn't be able to do the workouts. But I promised myself I would give it my all. I kept thinking I don't want to be the fat briedmaid. I gave it my all! By the end of week 1 I was down 9lbs. I cried the second I got into my car after I weighed in for the first time. It worked! I followed the plan to the T and it really worked! By the end of the 6 weeks I had lost 30.6 lbs!!!!!! The trainers at the transformation center by body and soul were amazing. They always explained the workouts and demonstrated it. If I ever had a question about a move or what to do they they never got annoyed they would always show or tell me again. Tom and Nick thank you for pushing me to MY limit. You guys taught me a lot about eating right and working out! read more

As a former health teacher, I have the knowledge of what I need to do in my life to remain healthy. However, I've allowed my emotions in the past few years to get the best of me. I was unhappy with my job which caused me to fall into what I would call a time of depression and self-loathing in my life. I had just gotten married to my amazing husband, who was very focused on maintaining a healthy lifestyle, but I could not find the push I needed to get out of my "slump". I began to gain more and more weight by emotionally eating. When I felt bad, gross, disgusted...that was what I wanted to eat. I finally realized that I hated the person I saw in the mirror and my husband and a friend, who had completed the challenge, encouraged me to take the 20 pound 6 week Challenge at the Body and Soul Transformation Center in Williamsville. When I began the program, I loved the workouts! The trainers were so willing to help me push through the circuits and realize my true strength. The workouts seemed to fly by and I looked forward to them, and missed them on my rest days. The meal plan was easy...just follow the darn instructions!!!! Trevor has designed the program to be easy to follow with simple meals, water consumption, and logging everything in a journal that quickly became a necessity that I couldn't leave the house without. It was my lifeline! It told me when to eat, what to eat, and reminded me constantly WHY I was eating it. SUCCESS! There is no catch...Body and Soul Trainers want you to succeed. As a client, you are the best advertisement they can find! I lost 22 pounds and 7.8% body fat in 6 WEEKS! And all of the amazing stories on the website, now including my own, explain it all. You mix accountability with support and camaraderie between members...you have an unstoppable program. I highly recommend the program to anyone who has been yo-yo dieting, attempting to run the pounds off YOU NEED THIS PUSH! Take the challenge, and you will find physical and mental strength you never knew you had. THANK YOU BODY & SOUL FITNESS!!! read more

I have completed 2 6week challenges. I went into body and soul fitness hoping i had found somewhere that was honest and cared about weightloss and health and not just about money. The challenge being to loose 20 pounds AND end below 50 pounds of body fat. Yes, i lost 25pounds my first challenge and only 6 more the second. The weightloss is not my concern it is the attitude and overall program which I, and many others felt the same about. I will start with. During my initial meeting about the program i asked several questions, my main concern being if this was just another 'quick fix diet'. The response was that no they do not cut any food out they dont want people 'yo-yo ing', except for limitimg cerrain foods your diet will be mainly portion control. I will say it was the most strict diet, with you mainly eating fruit. My first challenge i was extremely exhausted. Not even physically from workouts, but mentally. Feeling dizzy and dazed at work and feeling like i could fall asleep at the drop of a hat. (Everyone in the facebook group said it was your body 'detoxing') When i brought this concern up to a trainer as well as the owner. I was told i just wasnt eating enough fruit. To just eat more fruit. Well, that answer didnt sit well with me. I consulted my primary care physician, my GI doctor, and 2 registered dieticians. They all told me the same thing. I was eating too much fruit. That my bloodsugar was spiking up and dropping too much. I explained the diet to every one of them and they also all said that its just a quick fix, it will be gained back and difficult to keep the tge weight off. One of the most restricted diets They have seen. When i brought this matter up to the Owner (Trevor) His response was flooring. That i shouldnt be asking others, that i need to just trust their program. And that doctors dont know what they're talkimg about when it comes to nutrition becasue they do not even take one nutrition courses during they're schooling. However, i have not found any credentials for him showing his nutritionist knowledge. I should have known it was too good to be truem but that's how they get you. They promise results, properly and in a healthy way, talk in circles while explaining things so that you hear the same thing over and over again. My next major issue was how they determine body fat. Which turns this whole program into the biggest scam. There are no measurements taken. Not with calipers nor measuring tape. But with handheld body fat analyzers (bioelectrical impendence test) The way these work is. You enter your height, weight, age, and gender. Grip with both hands and it will tell your body fat %. These numbers shown will fluctuate based on hydration. There for the more your body is hydrated the less the number. The less you are hydrated the lower the number. So you drink less water for your final weigh in to make the scale go dow , but you need that water to make the body fat go down? As well as, the tightness of your grip will change the number along with the height you are holding it at. - I taked to trainers about them and they, to my face, told me they arent accurate. When i brought this concern to the owner anf manager i was given a run around and a copy and pasted answer on why they use them. Of you start asking too many questions, with concerns on how to get your money back then you will get a long winded phone call from the owner talking in a circle. Saying just have faith, believe in the program. The only pro comment i have is the workouts were great. Always switched up and fast pased. Although, they trainers did not all afree on form. One would say one thing and another would say another. Towards the end during my last week, i over heard 2 trainers talking and one was saying how he cant believe how much fruit we are eating. That if we are hungry between meals, we shouldn't be eating fruit it should be other things. And that the diet goes against everything he has ever learned. Finally, my last week on the challenge. The scheduling app would no longer allow me to schedule workouts. I emailed the club and wa told they would schedule them for me. Well, they never did. Therefore i was unable to complete all 30 workouts. I hope future challengers do their research on this program before they commit. There is alot of unprovided information prior to signing your contract and paying your money. Unfortunately, in order to recieve your money back you are required to write a review which is why there are so many positive reviews. Would you right a negative review if you wanted your $600 back? read more

Two years later it seems that things with the weight loss challenge haven't gotten much better. I'm still part of the Facebook group, and the things I see on there are downright scary. There are additional fasts, dehydration techniques prior to weigh in, requirements to buy their supplements, with detox pills and fat burners, protein powders. People, as someone who works in the medical field, I cannot begin to stress to you how unhealthy and DANGEROUS this is. This isn't sustainable. They've now made it more difficult to earn your money back while finding new ways to get more money from you with their "branded" products. Instead of just losing 20 pounds, you're now required to meet a fat percentage to get your money back. If you don't meet the fat percentage, you have to take another challenge. What they don't tell you is that your body eventually plateaus, as it does with any weight loss, because your metabolism needs to recalibrate. When you plateau, usually on your second or third challenge, you won't lose the 20 pounds and won't earn your money back. Please think long and hard before signing up for this challenge. I still love the workouts and think that they're great but this weight loss challenge leaves a lot to be desired! read more

I spent the first half of my life as a "skinny girl". I could eat whatever I wanted and not gain weight. I had a ton of energy, played sports, danced, and could lift the same amount of weight with my legs as some of the big and bulky football players I went to school with. In the summer of 1998, when I was about to turn 16, I became sick. The only "cure" for my strange ailments was to take heavy doses of prednisone, an oral steroid. I gained about 30 lbs over a 3 month span. I became depressed, sluggish, and lazy. My metabolism came to a screeching halt and it seemed like everything I ate made me gain 2 lbs. From that point forward, I became the girl who struggled with weight...someone I never thought I would be. For the past 16 years, I have been on and off of those same medications. My weight has been as low as 140 pounds and just recently spiked at 206 pounds. With carrying around 206 pounds came joint pain and muscle pain. I couldn't believe I had let myself go like that. I had tried numerous diets throughout the years; Weight Watchers, South beach, Juicing. I could never seem to stick to a workout regimen. I will be honest, I HATE WORKING OUT! I had hit a really low point and was about to have to go up another size in my clothes when I realized I had had ENOUGH! I was scrolling through Facebook and kept seeing ads for the Transformation Center and the 6 week, 20 lb. challenge. If you hit your goal of 20 lbs. and follow the instructions, you get your money back! WHAT?! Like most people, I was extremely skeptical...it seemed too good to be true. I went to the orientation to find out if this was for real. To my surprise and delight, it was real! I signed up that night...right then and there...no doubts in my mind that I was doing the right thing. Here I sit; a couple of months later, to tell you that it was one of the best decision for my health and well-being that I have ever made. I look forward to going to the Transformation Center for every session. The workouts are intense and challenging. The HIIT method of training is amazing. For anyone like me that gets bored during exercise, this is definitely the structure for you! The trainers know you by name, they help you with your form, and they push you to go further while always looking out for your safety first before pushing you. I could feel and see my body changing almost immediately. I have learned to love working out and eating clean. My body and soul DESERVE it and so does yours. I worked off 23 pounds in 6 weeks and I feel like a million bucks. The pain in my body is almost completely gone and I fit into pants I haven't put on in a year or more. I know this is just the beginning of my journey to fitness and health. I couldn't have done this without Nick, Tom, Trevor, and everyone at the Transformation Center. Thank you Body & Soul Fitness for changing my life! read more

I can't say enough positive things about the Body & Soul 6 week, 20 pound challenge. I had gained twenty-five unwanted pounds over the last year and knew I needed to shed the weight now or risk going down my family's standard path of constant, incremental weight gain. The 6 Week Challenge is exactly the type of program I needed. It brought out my inner athleticism - that I had neglected - at a simple and fun engagement level. As each week progressed our group workout sessions grew more difficult. I looked forward to each new workout and the challenge that it presented for me and my body. If you're a guy reading this review and you're thinking, "This looks like a weight loss program for women, I'm a man and I lift weights" you'd be dead wrong! The resistance bands, ropes, TRX bands, push ups and resistance based cardio will leave your muscles feeling pumped while melting away fat. After many years of working out with weights and participating in high school sports (wrestler) I'm now completely hooked on the Body & Soul workout program. I lost twenty-six pounds in six week; I'm thinner, stronger and more cut than I've been in years. The nutritional booklet (meal plans) are simple and easy to prepare. I followed the darn directions and made the commitment to stay away from grain based carbs while I was on the program, something I'm still doing now. I couldn't believe the difference in how I felt each day when I woke up. No more headaches, no more sore muscles in my back, my skin cleared up (something I've been struggling with since I was thirteen, I'm 36 now!) and of course the fat melted away. I was worried that following the meal plan 100% would be too expensive; that has not been the case at all. I've actually saved money by preparing five healthy, low fat and high protein meals each day. Since I stopped going out for lunch at the office and binging on burgers and fries when I got home from work I cut out a lot of unnecessary dining expenses and fat consumption. Did I mention how great I feel?! Now that I've finished the 20 pound challenge I've found that I want to stick with the meal planning I've been following for the last six weeks. I no longer crave bread, sugars or excessive salt. My body and my cravings have totally changed. I'll take a plate of fresh veggies, sweet potato and well seasoned white fish any day over a Big Mac. If there's one thing I'd most like to share with someone who's reading this review and contemplating joining Body & Soul Fitness it would be this; You don't need to be fifty pounds over weight to make a commitment to improve your body. Take control of your health now, before that slow, incremental weight gain takes control of you. I did it, and you can too! read more

The 6 week 20 pound challenge was just what I needed. I had become very lazy and not motivated. I would eat fast food everyday and not care. I had followed some workout programs and diets and had some success but I never stuck to it. My girlfriend and I signed up for the challenge because we needed a change. The workouts were challenging but fun. The trainers were great. The diet was difficult at first but once you get on track with it I started seeing great results. I completed the challenged on 2/14/15 and I lost a total of 37.4 pounds. I feel so much better now. Thank you so much Body and Soul Fitness. read more

I just completed the 6 week 20 pound weight loss challenge and am happy to announce that I lost 23lbs!!! I first heard about this challenge through a friend. With my upcoming wedding I thought it would be a great way to lose some weight before the big day! I had been slowly gaining weight over the last few years and not really doing much about it (other than talking about losing weight) so this was a great way to take charge of my body. When we first received the meal plan at orientation I was scared to say the least. I was most worried about giving up my favorite things (pizza and alcohol). The first day of the gym was great! The existing members are all really wonderful, and the trainers are very welcoming. The first week of workouts were rough and I had some difficulty walking around because my muscles were so sore. After the first week it seemed to get better and better. Now I look forward to working out because I feel so much better afterwards. This challenge made me realize all of the garbage that I was eating. It's amazing how a few weeks of clean eating changes how your entire body functions. I am so much more awake without drinking coffee. I feel amazing and I have so much energy now! My journey does not end with this challenge. This challenge has created a new me and I never want to go back! Thank you to all the trainers at Body & Soul for always pushing us and swapping out our weights. They always say "If you don't hate your trainer they aren't doing their job" and they are right! If you are thinking about doing this stop thinking and just do it! www.20pounds6weeks.com read more

Thanks to the 6 week 20 lbs challenge at the Transformation Center by Body & Soul Fitness, I was able to lose 68.8 lbs and 12.4% body fat in 12 weeks. I owe a great deal of my success to my wife who helped me plan my meals and prep my food as well as the trainers at the Transformation Center who pushed and motivated me during the workouts. When my wife and I started our transformation journey on January 5th, we went into that first challenge just wanting to lose 30 lbs each. Half way through our first challenge, we were hooked. We decided to complete a second challenge so we can meet our overall goal which for me was to weigh below 200 lbs. At the end of my second challenge, I weighed in at 189 lbs! The Transformation Center does just that. It has transformed the lives of my wife as well as myself. We now watch what we eat and always read product labels to see if there are too many calories, fat and/or sodium. My wife and I have also joined as members because it is a comfortable place to work out without being judged based on how you look. In addition, the trainers are very helpful and knowledgeable about the challenges of weight loss and can help you overcome them. They also do a great job at challenging yourself during the workouts by increasing the resistance or modifying workouts to suit any physical injuries you may have. Out of all the gyms, at home workout videos and nutrition based programs my wife and I have tried, the Transformation Center is the only place that has worked for us and has changed how we view food and exercise. www.20pounds6weeks.com read more

Today I shed lots of tears, tears of nervousness and tears of joy. I must have looked like a crazy person. 6 weeks ago, after seeing a few friends and family members complete the challenge, I decided to sign up. I remember getting weighed in a wondering how I was going to make it through the next 6 weeks. Well, today I am here to say that I made it! Body and Soul Transformations for me was just what I was looking for in a gym. I love the workouts and the style of the class. I loved the trainers and how they helped me through the sessions and pushed me to my limits. I loved that after I left there in the morning I was set for the day. I have never taken a class before where each and everyday was something new. Every time I walked in I was surprised at what type of equipment I was going to be using. Most times it was hard, but I kept pushing. The diet was even harder. I could easily see how eating clean was the answer to my eating habits and how I needed to change that. I now realize how important water is in my life. The Transformation Center is the best place to go. It is the perfect mix of great gym, great trainers, and great members. The trainers there are so willing to help you succeed no matter what you are looking to achieve. The members there are always willing to give you a smile or support when you feel like you are about to fail. And I can tell you from experience that I was crying after my 5:30am class as someone who I never had the chance to speak to before gave me a pep talk that I totally needed. And my fellow challengers and friends that I met along this journey at some of our lowest lows, made each and every workout worth it. Looking forward to the next step in the process!!! read more

After the first work out, I said "what the heck did I get myself into" and I thought there was no way I was going to be able to do this for six weeks. It was not an easy journey but I persevered with a LOT of encouragement and support from ALL the trainers and I lost 21.6 lbs in six weeks. Even though there were many of us in each class, Nick, Matt, Seton, Joe, Tom and Matt Jr. always managed to give each of us their personal attention. I would most certainly have done a 2nd challenge but time did not permit. I wholeheartedly, without any doubt whatsoever, highly recommend Body and Soul Transformation Center. They are absolutely committed to getting you into the best shape ever. Thank you Trevor Buccieri for the amazing opportunity. I couldn't have done it without you. Dorothy Gadley read more

I was at my lowest of lows, needing some kind of change. I was swaying back in forth on if I should get "The surgery" or give this a try. THANK GOD I picked this!! Walking thru those doors was the beginning of a new start for me. I never realized how far gone I was (emotionally / physically / mentally) until I started. I was able to put on a good front - smile - pretend everything was okay. This 6 week challenge gave me the jump start / kick in the pants I was needing. The juices started to flow, making me alive again!! I had the desire to live again - want something for ME - reminding me that I AM WORTH IT! I have been truly blessed to have worked with two amazing trainers: Joe and Seton during this new life journey. Their passion - knowledge - encouragement & compassion made this process worth it all. The guidance on nutrition took out all the guess work, making it possible. I looked forward to going daily, to release some stress and to keep reaching toward my goal. I can't rave enough about Body & Soul Transformations. Not only is my outward appearance showing transformation but my personality / energy level is back up and running!! THANK YOU again from the bottom of my heart Trevor for creating such a program like this!! THANK YOU everyone at the Williamsville location - I truly appreciate each of you!! read more

I lost 23.8 pounds in 6 weeks and couldn't be happier with my success. It was definitely a challenge at points, but I pushed through and "followed the damn instructions"! These past 6 weeks may have been hard, but they were so worth it to see these results and give me that push I needed. Thank you to the trainers who pushed me when I thought I was dying. I never knew I was capable of half of the things I accomplished throughout these 6 weeks, and am happy that I learned to push myself past what I thought was my breaking point. I would highly recommend the Transformation Center to anyone! read more

Wow!!! Where to find the words to describe what took place in 6 weeks... Let me try! Once upon a time there was a tiny lady who was about 110 pounds. She decided to have a child. After age gave birth, the child came out, 30 pounds stayed on! The same lady went on to have her second child...the same bonus stayed on her body. Do the math...this lady was now at almost 160pounds!!! Yep-that was me...until I walked into the body and soul transformation center in Williamsville, looked around, checked out the photos, saw the trainers working with so much energy and attention towards their clients---I was sold! With a day I made a commitment, and without telling anyone in my family I put my $500 down!!!!! What did I just do????? I finally made a commitment to myself--to what I eat, to when I eat, to making my body move!!! The best decision of my adult life! The trainers are amazing!!! They teach you, they hold your hand and lend a listening ear when needed, their advices are solid! You are working with professionals here! They know their stuff! Super motivating classes, awesome music---I never missed one class in 6 weeks!!!! Love them for making me find myself again...21 pounds lighter . Everyone owes it to themselves to take care of their own mind and body!!! And that is exactly what this place did for me!!!! From the bottom of my heart---THANK YOU!!! read more

www.20pounds6weeks.com So my wife showed me a Facebook posting of one of her friends (Brandon) that did the challenge and not only lost over 20 pounds but his diabetes went away and his life changed for the better from then since. I acted like I wasn't really interested because of not wanting to hear the nagging about my own morbid obesity and health issues, but secretly was intrigued. I then a few days later had a visit with my surgeon (I've had carpel tunnel surgery on both wrists now, right in 2005, left in 2012) because I'm starting to get my symptoms back in my left wrist. He was convinced that it's a weight related issue and was pressuring me into lap band or gastric bypass surgery. I wanted neither of these options, but he was insisting since I didn't have the drive or willpower to diet and exercise on my own. I stewed on this for about a week, frustrated in my lack of ambition, and tired all the time. I justified my 'at home laziness' by telling myself because we have a baby, and I work 2 jobs I should be able to lay around when I get home. Well then I saw the announcement of the Sept 2014 6 week challenge night seminar that I was free to go to. So I figured why not? I'll go and see what they have to say... I got nothing to lose! I didn't tell anyone I was going because once again I didn't want to hear the nagging and negativity of me not following thru with another gym membership. I've tried A LOT of gyms in the past, everything from big name gyms to mom & pop 1 off gyms. I've tried supplements, pills, and potions. I've bought countless exercise equipment in the past that gets more dust use than anything else, the spiders enjoy the free houses they provide though lol. So anyways I go and listen to Trevor, his words make sense. His ideas and intentions seem honest. I was really just expecting another give us all your money and you'll magically get slimmer and buy all our products and food and you'll do great.... Then once off their system I'd yoyo back out of control or it just wouldn't work at all. But like I said something just seemed genuine about his life story. Then out of all the nights and times the seminars were hosted I just happened to pick the one that Brandon actually showed up as a guest speaker! So I got to hear his story in his own words, feel his emotions and accomplishments... Not just a picture of 'some guy' that no one knows that supposedly lost weight there. That was it, I was in. I signed up that night, but NOT with the intention of losing 20 pounds... I'm "That Guy" that never aims for just making it or the bar, I aim high above it! I wanted, no scratch that NEEDED 30 pounds! I weighed in at 294.7 that night when I stepped on the scale. They said the challenge would start in a few weeks, I was disappointed because they had me so "Ready" for this transformation I wanted to start tomorrow! Lol. So the next day I decide to tell my wife that I went to the seminar and enrolled, she's skeptical but excited for me. A few days later I get an email from body and soul, it's a 14 day 5lb down jump start nutrition plan. I print it out and go shopping at Wegmans with the wife, once again bumping into Brandon there and he helped me with my grocery list. In those TWO weeks just following the times to eat and eating what's in the plan ONLY and consuming a minimum of 1 gallon of water daily I drop 19.3 pounds!!! I was like HOLY COW!! I wasn't even working out yet and I lost almost 20 pounds already! Now I'm all in! My attitude has gone from zero expectations to sky's the limit! The 1st week I'm there I'm NOT going to lie I thought I was going to die! It was A LOT of work, fast paced, and a lot of memory assisted exercises. I pushed myself past my comfort levels, harder and harder each night... end of week 1 dropped 4.2 pounds.... Wasn't good enough for me, I wanted 30 pounds so I needed to average 5/week. The trainers told me that weight loss is a series of steps of drop and plane and drop and plane and that my expectations of a solid 5/week with no variation is unreasonable. Still wasn't good enough for me! Lol I bought their heart rate monitor they have on site (BEST purchase I've made!) and finally realized that as hard as I THOUGHT I was pushing myself it was NOWHERE'S where I wanted to be! So now I push even harder! End of week 2 down 5.6 pounds! Yea! More like it! Week 3 down 7 pounds! Then it happened, the plane they talked about... week 4 only 3.2 pounds, week 5 only 3.8 pounds... Everyone's excited for me because I've already got my 20 pounds lost, I'm in the "winner's circle" to them... but NOT to me! I needed 30 pounds to add to that 2 week previous loss would put me at 50 pounds lost... THAT'S an impactful number to me! So week 6 the final week I push as far as I can all 5 days and BAM!! I drop exactly 10 pounds in that week!!! So not only did I DESTROY the 20 pound challenge and lose 33.8 pounds and 6.2% body fat! read more

The Transformation Center by Body and Soul Fitness has completely changed my life! I took the 6 week 20 pound challenge and I crushed it! In high school I was a cheerleader and in amazing shape. Just when high school ended, I joined my local volunteer fire department while going to college. I was in amazing shape and could do all the drills and such with ease. As the years progressed I basically "got lazy." I had a gym membership but I was not going. I was eating crappy all the time. I lived at home with my parents so my mom would cook dinner but if she didn't I would just eat something from the local fast food restaurants or I would just eat junk food. I would do little things here and there to keep me kind of in shape but I was gaining weight and not happy with myself. I could still perform my firefighting duties but I was not what I was like when I originally joined and I was disappointed in myself! So I wanted to lose the weight that I had gained and get back into shape! Back in September I got married! My goal was to lose weight for my wedding day just like every other girl I know. Prior to my wedding I became an advisor for AdvoCare. I did the program a few times and lost about 10 pounds but I didn't stick with it. The pills were too much and I felt as if it really was not working for me. So with the wedding over and not losing the weight I wanted to, I noticed the Transformation Center on Facebook. A good friend of mine had a huge influence on me giving the Center a try! I took the recent challenge that began on June 1st. I tried to get into the challenge before but it was booked. When I began the challenge I was very nervous! I went to my first class without knowing anyone. When I got to the center, I signed in. The trainers there were extremely helpful and advised me to take a seat with the others. As soon as I got on to the floor, the past challengers and members welcomed me into the program with open arms. A couple people gave me some tips for the next 6 weeks and others told me how much I would love the Transformation Center. The workouts began and I was instantly hooked! The trainers would begin the class & explain the warm ups as they did them with us. They would then explain the workout for the class and each level for each exercise. As the weeks progressed on, I moved from beginner level to level 3 for some of the movements. Once the workout was completed the class would have a finisher. Some of the finishers were pretty intense but when they were done the class would cool down together. During each class, the trainers would go around. They would cheer you on or have you adjust your form if it wasn't correct. At the end of the class the trainers would pick a camper of the session which was basically a person who pushed themselves the most during that hour. The trainers were simply amazing! They were the motivation I was looking for. They made you feel welcome and at home! Some of the workouts were crazy but they were actually fun! I'll be honest, my workout was every morning at 9:15am and there were some days I didn't want to get up during the challenge. I would push myself to go because I knew I had to but once I did the workout, I felt amazing!! During the program, there was a special meal plan to follow. Honestly, the meal plan was completely different from how I would usually eat. On the program you were eating 5 meals today every 3 hours. The amount of food you could eat didn't seem like much but after actually prepping it and eating it was plenty. Most days I would get up and prep all my meals the day of. I work evenings and sometimes I would not be able to eat my meals exactly on time. I would eat them as close to the scheduled time as I could. Every week I would weigh in, I would go talk to the trainers and give them my log and they would give me tips. They would tell me what to change, what to eat and what not to eat. It was not easy during the 6 weeks but as you learn throughout the program, if you follow the damn instructions you will be fine! Overall, my experience with the Transformation Center by Body and Soul Fitness was absolutely amazing. The 6 week 20lb challenge was not easy but with the determination, hard work, and dedication I accomplished my goal. I was able to get my money back but that did not matter to me. I lost 20lbs, I look better and I feel better. This program has helped me reach a weight that I am comfortable with and it has changed how I eat and the lifestyle I live. Halfway through the program, I already had joined the Transformation Center. I continue to go 4 times a week and I absolutely love it! This truly has been one of the best experiences of my life and I am so grateful I had to opportunity to take the challenge! Thank you to all the trainers of Body & Soul! You guys are the best!! read more

I want to first begin by saying that my weight has never been an easy subject for me. I have always been more physically developed than those around me since I was about nine years old, and from there all the way into my twenties as soon as I stopped growing taller I began growing wider. I have always had an obsession with food, especially during stressful events in life. Most of my childhood and high school education I was picked on by other students for being fat. I really didn't take my health seriously until I was about 22 and I looked in the mirror and said enough is enough. At that point in life I took control of my health. I counted calories along with eating healthy and worked out at the gym three or four days a week. It took me about four months, but I lost approximately 30 pounds and was in the best shape of my life. Once I hit that goal, I thought the hard work was over and I returned back to my old eating, drinking and sedentary habits. Though I maintained my weight within five pounds for almost three years, I was no longer healthy or in control of my health. April of 2014 I was diagnosed with a thoracic aortic aneurysm and was told, "There is nothing to worry about, everything will be okay." I got married in October, and found out soon after that during my check-up appointment that my aneurysm had grown at an accelerated rate over the past six months and that I was unable to have children unless I had open heart surgery. After bearing this difficult news, I quickly gained 35+ pounds following my marriage within a matter of seven months. Walking up the stairs even became difficult without being winded, and I thought to myself- enough is enough. I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety disorder, and placed on medication that gave me the extra motivation I needed to take a chance on the 20lb-6 week weight loss challenge. I had heard many wonderful things about The Body and Soul Transformation Center, my cousin has actually done a challenge before. I did my research on social media and found nothing but outstanding, REAL results. I thought to myself- Alicia, what have you got to lose? I remember going to the orientation and hearing the testimonials from past challengers, and looking at all the eager souls around me ready to take charge of their health and thought to myself, why have I not done this sooner? After my first workout I convinced myself that this was not for me, I couldn't do it. It was too hard, I was too tired, I don't have time, etc. But I pushed through the fear and still came. And guess what- the workouts became "easier" for lack of a better word, and I eventually WANTED to go to them gym. I put forth my complete and total best in every single workout, pushed myself to new limits, advised my trainers on my limitations due to my illness- and they modified routines to my personal abilities. I did doubles most weeks due to my work schedule not coinciding with the training schedule and never quit. I'm not going to say these past six weeks have been a breeze, I constantly struggled with the diet- one week I would be okay and the next I would be craving everything in sight. My diet had to be modified here different times by the trainers to optimize weight loss, but I always followed the damn instructions. Whenever I had a question the trainers were easily approachable after workouts, and the Facebook buddy group was an immense help when I was at home and had questions I forgot to ask at the gym. This truly is a family. Nobody judges, and we are all here to help ourselves and others around us succeed together. Six weeks later, the night before weigh in I was freaking out because I had 1.5 pounds to lose in 24 hours and I had no idea how I was going to do it- it's impossible right?! I sought guidance from the trainers who told me to trust the system, and I had to let go of control and do just that. And guess what?! I lost 2.5 pounds in 24 hours, exceeding my goal and losing 21 pounds total in six weeks! This program has changed my life forever- this is not a fad or some quick fix. I have learned tools to guide my nutrition and exercise for the rest of my life, since this is now a lifestyle! I can't say anything negative about Body and Soul Fitness or their weight loss programs. I have never had such a positive experience, and I look forward to busting out challenge number two which I have already begun, and hopefully becoming a VIP member of B&S fitness! To past challenges- thank you for your guidance, to fellow challengers- we did it, and to new challengers- good luck and don't hesitate to reach out to your peers! read more

The New Year has always been a time for looking back to the past, and more importantly, forward to the coming year. It's a time to reflect on the changes we want (or need) to make and resolve to follow through on those changes. Well I decided to make my resolution back in September to focus on myself, my health and my well-being. Thinking about where my weight and health were heading was really depressing. Especially knowing I was around 20 to 25 pounds heavier now than I was when I was 9 months pregnant. It was finally time to stop blaming Noah for my "extra" baby weight (He's almost 19.) I started seeing posts on Facebook about The Transformation Center by Body and Soul Fitness. "Lose 20 pounds in 6 weeks." Everyone wants the "quick fix" to weight loss. I thought to myself I would love to loose 20lbs that fast, but what's the catch? There is always a catch. So I started going through the B&S Facebook page. Picture after picture were people posting their results and comments. Going to their website: www.20pounds6weeks.com. All positive comments and all losing their 20 pounds and more. So again, what's the catch? They started posting to sign up for their next challenge. So I decided to see for myself what this place was really like. I took a ride out to their East Aurora location. I was in a room with easily 40-50 people, all of us looking to achieve our weight loss goals. We heard inspirational stories from current members and from Trevor, the owner. And then it was revealed, "the catch," how all these people lost this weight, they invested in themselves. Still with some hesitation, I signed up. I chose to invest in myself. There has never been a challenge or deadline I didn't meet. So why would this one be any different. It was they day of no looking back, October 25th, our weigh in day. This would be the last day I would see that number on the scale. We took our before pics and gave our personal statements. Then it was time for the nutritional seminar - The blueprint for our weight loss success. It was enlightening. Nothing that we haven't heard before. Healthy eating - fruits, vegetables and lean protein. Planning and Prepping our meals for the day and the week was vital to success. That is how we were going to achieve our goals. That along with 5 workouts a week. Monday, October 27th is when the workouts began. I had a feeling of excitement, anticipation, anxiety walking into the first class. I'm sure so did everyone else that day. The anxiety quickly dissipated. Day after day, week after week I found myself getting stronger and stronger. And looked forward to going to class and missed it when I wasn't there. The first week I lost 5.8 pounds. I was ecstatic. Each week, a couple more pounds fell off. I started seeing results immediately. Then it was almost over. Six weeks flew by. It was the night before my weigh in and I went to my last workout. All of us there were weighing in on Saturday or Sunday. All of us nervous and that anxiety was setting it again. I DID IT. I managed to loose 21.8 pounds and 3.6% of body fat. We took our after pics and made out statements documenting our hard work and success. (Wishing I would of showered at that point. Haha.) It was a very emotional morning. Anxious before the weigh in. Excited and relieved after. I honestly went to my car after and started to type my post on Facebook and started to cry and sob uncontrollably. The investment I made in myself paid off. The definition of an investment is an act of devoting time, effort, or energy to a particular undertaking with the expectation of a worthwhile result. And I did all three - I took the time. Made the effort. Spent the energy. And the result was weight loss. But the return on my investment is much higher. To calculate ROI, the benefit of an investment is divided by the cost of the investment. The benefits I've gained are so much more than my initial investment. I've gained a healthier lifestyle, I have more energy. I'm stronger both physically and more importantly, mentally. I reinvested in myself by joining The Transformation Center. I now attend 3 times a weeks. I am continuing the nutrition plan on my own. I am starting my own 6 week challenge on 1/5/15 along with the others. It was honestly the fastest 6 weeks ever. Not once did I say, "Ugh, I don't want to go to the gym in those 6 weeks." I actually wanted to go more. I want to thank everyone who has supported me throughout this transformation; my friends, family, co-workers and especially my trainers Nick and Tom and my new Transformation family. read more

My relationship with Body and Soul Transformation began with a 3 week challenge that I heard about through my best friend. She and her cousin were about to start the challenge. I was at my heaviest weight ever, 190 lbs. I felt horrible, physically and emotionally, and I looked it too. My weight has fluctuated my whole life, and I have always been what they call "thick" but I have never gotten that heavy before. The crazy part is that I have always worked out. I have always belonged to gyms and go regularly, but my eating habits were just not good. I have a serious addiction to sweets and to carbs, that I have had my entire life. I came by it honestly as it started when I was a baby, and is shared throughout my whole family. Anyways, when I heard Mary talking about the challenge, I figured Id give it a try. So I went to the first meeting. That's where I saw Tom, who I went to high school with, but hadn't seen probably since high school. When I saw how well he had kept himself up over the years, and then looked at myself, it really made me think. I dedicated myself to the 3 week challenge, and ended up taking off about 8 pounds. When the challenge ended, I went crazy and started eating everything in sight. Needless to say, the same 3 weeks it took me to take the 8 pounds off, it took to put it back on. I knew I had to get more serious and make more of a total lifestyle change. When the 6 week challenge was about to start, and that same friend offered to put up the money for me, I jumped on it. She had enough faith in me to risk $500 so I knew I had to have the same faith in myself. I was overweight, I was in the process of being tested for cancer genes, I was depressed and tired. I decided I was going to take my health more serious than I ever had taken it before. So, I did. And it was hard, really hard. Every day, everyone was eating all this fantastic looking and smelling food around me. But I was determined. Every day, my kids were upset that I was leaving again (Body and Soul is a half hour drive for me, plus the workout, then the half hour drive back), but they understood I was determined. Every day, my boyfriend complained that I didn't have any time for him, but I simply told him I was determined and I was putting me first for once. I spent a few hours on Sundays preparing my meals for the week. It was much easier to stick to the plan in the midst of a hectic life when all I had to do was grab the next Tupperware out of the fridge. I got ideas from group members and from health magazines about new recipes to try so I wouldn't be so bored that Id end up cheating. I went to my workouts religiously. I didn't take off-days. When I wasn't at Body and Soul on any given day, I was at my local gym, or I was running Delaware Park and training for a 5k marathon that Im running with my daughter in 2 weeks, or I was doing home workouts. I teach 8th grade, and I would go to gym class with my students, and bike ride with my daughter. I stayed active. I had a really hard time getting down almost a gallon of water a day, but I drank as much as I could manage. I quit smoking!!! I also did a few colon cleanses J. Everyone saw the difference in me, and I saw it in myself. When I stepped on the scale for final weigh in, I wasn't surprised. I followed the damn instructions, and I worked my butt off (literally), and it worked! I weighed in at 167 pounds, 23 pounds lighter than I had been 6 weeks earlier, and had lost 5.3 percent of my body fat! I feel amazing, and very proud of myself. Nothing worth doing comes easy. There is no secret, there is no miracle cure. Hard work, consistency and dedication are the answer. I really was able to see the difference that a healthy diet makes, and it finally made sense to me when Tom told me that working out is only 20 percent of weight loss. Body and Soul was really what I needed. The trainers were fabulous. Tom and Nick just kept pushing and motivating, and when they could tell I didn't want to be there, they pushed harder. Every time I left there, I felt 10 times better than I had when I walked in. My group members were so inspiring; I would watch them work so hard and it would make me work harder. I also really enjoyed being able to work out with my best friend. Im so grateful for my experience at Body and Soul. I would definitely recommend the challenge to anyone who is serious about their health and weight loss. read more

In 2008 I wrote an article for my family newsletter entitled, Save Your Life (And Only You Can). It was an open letter to myself about all the reasons that I should take my health more seriously - and it was a good letter! I said all the things that I needed to hear to kick start the lifestyle shift toward a healthier me. I was reading and thinking and praying and watching and listening to any and everything that had to do with getting in shape. I had seen the best and worst of the effects of healthy living, and I was determined to be on the winning side. In spite of my good intentions, six years later I hadn't really permanently lost any significant amount of weight; in fact, I had gained weight! My progress was defined by whatever the prevailing mood was on any given day. This past summer I came across the words I had written in the letter to myself back in 2008: "There is a problem - I don't feel well; I don't like how I look or feel; I probably look like I feel; I definitely feel like I look - and worst of all, I have no excuses." Maybe it doesn't sound clear on paper, but those words were so clear in my spirit that I knew the time for change was coming. That feeling of needing a change - a real live life or death type of change - was confirmed again when I drove across the country with my daughter and son-in-law who were relocating to California! The five day trip was in every sense of the word a "trip of a lifetime," and nothing could have made it any better except for the fact that too many aspects of the trip were punctuated by issues that could have been easily avoided if I had been in better shape. I struggled with swollen ankles the entire trip (probably caused by high blood pressure), and I got winded and overtired during most of our walking tours, bike rides and hikes through the cities we visited. Mostly I was just embarrassed about being "the one that couldn't keep up." I felt angry when people that we met along the way congratulated me in a way that always sounded condescending, as if they were saying, "Way to go fat girl!" (Even though I knew they were just trying to be encouraging). I wasn't that girl, at least not on the inside, and I hated the idea of people seeing me that way! I would love to be able to say that the decision to do the Six Week Challenge hit me like a lightning bolt or maybe it was more like a light switch being turned on in a dark room - but that is not really true either. I went back and forth, wondering if it would be too hard and how I could possibly survive six weeks without pizza! I had a pretty convincing list of excuses NOT to do the challenge, but in the end, something about the word "transformation" kept wooing me back until I signed my name on the dotted line. Since my "honest" review has been requested, I will go ahead and just say that aside from Nick's quirky laugh and Tom's corny jokes, there wasn't much I enjoyed about the day to day experience during the first few weeks. I dreaded most of the workouts and the nutrition plan made me want to stop eating completely. During the first two weeks my body wasn't sure if it wanted to be middle-aged or adolescent: I struggled to overcome hot flashes, acne and an incessant impulse to burst into tears! And then, I read something on the Body and Soul Facebook page that help me to understand what was really happening. Someone wrote a comment about our bodies "detoxing." That was it! The transformation was happening! I couldn't see it in the mirror or in the fit of my clothes, but I knew it was happening. Even though I saw the 24.6 pounds drop off the scale from week to week, I still have a hard time believing that the girl in the before and after pictures is me. Change is one of the hardest things for human beings to accomplish. I am so thankful for people like Trevor who are able to envision what a person can be if he or she is willing to transform the body and soul. I am even more thankful for people like Nick and Tom, who were completely dedicated to helping me and everyone else in the Challenge be better and better each day. I feel so fortunate to have been a part of the experience, and I hope I can keep building on the changes that have taken place in my life during the past six weeks. read more

I have intentionally chosen to take a little longer to write my story to allow myself time to really reflect on this 6week journey I have just completed. Here is what I have come up with .... From May 2012 until October 2014, (Oct 25th to be exact - Initial weigh-in day) were some of the darkest days I have had to endure. The worst was when I totally gave up on myself from May 2014 until the start of this challenge. I am an emotionally eater and binge drinker when things spiral out of my control. I lose confidence in myself, question everything I am doing and lose positive sight and focus on the good, to be ridden with anxiety over the bad. I am fully aware this is how I "treat myself" during times of such chaos and crisis but I can never seem to find a way to stop/prevent it from happening. How can I break this cycle!? After reconnecting with an old friend in August 2014, I began following her story/success/daily posts (I actually waited for her daily FB updates/weekly weigh-ins) about her day to day at The Transformation Center by Body & Soul Fitness. At this time she was in the 6week Challenge at Body&Soul and in following her, I started believing in what she was doing. Yes, still skeptical but nonetheless, intrigued. So, I reached out to this INCREDIBLE, INSPIRATIONAL WOMAN and she "buddy passed" me into a class so I can check out the workouts before I signed up for the initial seminar. Well even though I couldn't walk for a week, I was hooked already. I couldn't stop thinking about being in that atmosphere, surrounded by all of these people who are all there for the same "overall" reason. Orientation came and I signed up. I committed 6weeks to MYSELF. "OH MY ... HOLY S*!T" is what I'm thinking. BUT, when Trevor and Tom asked us during orientation, "Are you ready to do this for YOU? No one else, but YOU? Are YOU able to have the conversation with those around YOU to let them know, this is MY 6weeks and if you can't be a part of MY goal, then say, I'll talk to you in 6weeks". Hmmm....I answered YES to all of their questions, but it didn't make me feel any less guilty about taking this time for ME, taking time away from my son. "Does this make me a bad mom? No, right?" I am doing this for ME, to be MY best. That is MY gift to him. He deserves ME at MY best. Challenge starts..there is no turning back. Weight is pouring off. My energy is through the roof. My headaches are gone. I am beginning to wake up everyday with a little less weight/hurt in my heart. A little less guilt over my head. I began developing relationships with my peers here at B&S. Hearing their stories. Believe it or not, my heart started to soften a little. I was smiling more. Looking forward to hearing their successes, helping brush off the downs and embrace the joys. High-fives, hugs, tears & sweat - I began to crave it, need it, want it. This place is like no other. I know what I needed to do, what had to be done, the truth is...I didn't want to do it. I didn't care enough to want to do anything about it until I surrounded myself with the support I needed to finally get it done. Remember all of those "Yes's" to their questions..... Final weigh-in with Tom. I was so overcome with emotion. I cried, literally real tears, had my break-through during the before & after pics & videos. Why? It wasn't because of the lost weight and fat (added bonus), it was because, I finally for... ONCE IN MY LIFE FELT FREE. Free of any guilt. Free to know and believe it is good to do something for MYSELF. I FINALLY UNDERSTOOD what Trevor and Tom were talking about. To hear Tom say, "This is the real you Jess. You're glowing, happy, in your right place". Yes, I am FREE from the guilt and the sky is my limit. This is a glimpse into MY story. My chapter 1. I know there are 100's of stories out there, but if anyone takes time to read mine - Thank you for your time. "To everyone who thinks you can't, well I know you can". Thank you B&S - Down 26.8lbs & 5.3% body fat in 6weeks - Now, onto Challenge #2. read more

Happier, confident, energetic.....just a few words to describe how I feel after just 6 short weeks. I owe this to the wonderful experience I have had doing the 6-week challenge at Body and Soul Transformation! I must say thank you to Trevor and trainers Nick and Tom! I have run the gamut of diets throughout my life and my weight has been like a yo-yo. I also became controlled by food.....and felt that food was my only happiness! Exercise was something I hated! And I felt hopeless....I was majorly overweight for my height and I kind of felt that at age 47 this was the new me. I was going to be a frumpy older woman/mom. I just convinced myself that size 16 pants and weighing close to 200 pounds was how it was going to be....so I accepted it. I hated going out because putting clothes on was majorly depressing. I was tired 24/7 and never had energy. And food was the only thing that seemed to make me happy.....at least for the moments I was eating anyway. After eating I would get angry with myself.....and the only way to curb that anger was to eat more! So the new mantra became....just keep eating because you cannot possibly get thin at your age....it will be too difficult..... Then, this summer, I saw my friend posted about her 6-week challenge and the success she was having. I took a leap a faith and decided it was going to be about me now. I knew I did have one more chance to right things with my weight. I remember going to the initial meeting and feeling excited yet a bit skeptical.....because how in the world could you possibly lose 20 pounds in such a short time without some sort of gimmick. But as Trevor went through the diet and such, I saw that I was not going to be eating processed "diet" food, but rather real HEALTHY food......stuff you can actually get at any local grocery store! And imagine, incorporating exercise into this program too! The food plan that is laid out was so easy to follow! I easily got everything at the local stores. The first week was a struggle getting myself adjusted to the new eating....and the exercise five times a week was something my body also had to adjust to. After the first week and seeing the results on the scale...I was hooked. I knew that I could do this! Through this program I have learned amazing ways to eat....I can go out to a restaurant and ask them to make the food the way I need it made and they do it, no problem. In fact, the waitress I had at one restaurant said that she wishes she could be this disciplined. I no longer crave bread and pasta because I learned that carbohydrate cravings can be satisfied by this stuff called fruit! And I can now say that I actually have an apple obsession....I crave them instead of breads and doughnuts! All within 6 short weeks. I have belonged to many a gym and clearly have walked out from a workout looking the same as when I walked in, not sweating one bit. The workouts at Body and Soul.....you leave them one sweaty mess and I left there feeling accomplished! The trainers, Nick and Tom, give you the personal attention you need, the verbal motivation and push that helps you get through the workout. They bring humor and fun to each and every workout. If you have an injury or struggle with an exercise, there they are to help you modify the exercise and make sure you don't further injure yourself. I LOVE THIS PLACE!! I have met some amazing friends that are encouraging at each and every workout. We push each other because we have the same goal.....to lose weight and get healthy. Trevor, Tom and Nick (at the Williamsville location) I cannot thank you enough for the support you have given me over these past 6 weeks! Every time I had a question or needed clarification about my eating plan or why I didn't lose as much one week to the next....you took time to help me and talk with me. This personal attention is what matters most! Thank you and I am excited to begin this next 6-week challenge! Onward! read more

The Transformation Center changed my life. As an adult I have struggled with weight. I never saw myself as big as I was and probably is why I didn't focus on me and my health. I was always active and never let my weight get in the way of physical activities. What my weight did to me was a personal attack to my inner strength. I have obsessed over my weight and how I looked for as long as I can remember. I have lost sleep, avoided social gatherings and limited my professional aspirations because of how my weight made me feel inside. I was more concerned with how others saw me than what the reality of that really was. I've joined all the gyms; kick boxing, interval machines, zumba, traditional gym, aerobics and more. I always worked hard at whatever trend I was practicing at the time. Regardless of the work & sweat, it didn't take off the pounds. 10 Years ago I miscarried and have struggled with undefined infertility. Over the years I have tried every fertility treatment option available from hormone shots to acupuncture. Of course none of this worked. The day came that my doctor told me I was too fat to get pregnant. This was the day that I decided I needed to make a change in my physical health. I was pushing 40 and knew that I have only a couple years left to attempt this. So I went on a low carb diet and mild exercise and lost 65 lbs. I kept the weight off for almost 2 years until I made the last attempt at hormone shots. After 6 months of shots, I slowly put back 40 lbs and started feeling those terrible feelings again inside. This brought on stress and low self esteem all over again. Fast forward a year and now I was introduced to The Transformation Center from a co-worker. I frequently saw her posts on facebook about this amazing weight loss program and what it was doing for her. I was at a cross roads inside not knowing what to do. I had tried the low carb eating again and the weight was not coming off this time. I started looking at different options and was thinking about taking weight loss pills but knew this was not the forever answer. I attended the Transformation Center's seminar just to see what this was all about. Knowing what I have done in the past, I knew this was going to be hard work. I'm not afraid of hard work and knew that I would be devoted in doing this all the way. While at the meeting, I texted my husband to tell him how much and he said DO IT! Regardless of the upfront cost, I had his support to do this. I signed up and there was no turning back. My first weigh in with Tom I remember telling him I was all in and doing it all the way. I weighed in at 197 and although that was crushing me on the inside, I knew I had to push through the feelings. My first workout KICKED MY BUTT! Actually the first week did. I was sore, which meant to me something was working. The meal plan was crazy the first couple weeks. It wasn't what I had to eat but mire having to think and plan what I was eating was very hard at first. It got easier each week as did the workout routine. I felt great and knew I was working hard. I kept telling myself, hard work- big reward. Each week would pass and the weight was consistently coming off. Going into the last week I was close but knew I would do it. The plan was working and even my golf swing improved! Final weigh in was here and Tom kept me in suspense... I DID IT! I lost 22.6lbs in 6 weeks and weighed in at 174. I couldn't be happier! But more importantly, The Transformation Center transformed how I felt inside. I looked at myself differently. I am now 40 and know that I want to do this plan for me and to be healthier for me! This is my new normal and will be the regiment that I follow. Tom, Nick and crew have taught me a clean way of eating and an exercise routine that works. I am forever grateful as I now can sleep easy. So with that, I am happy to say that I followed the damn instructions and I lost 22.6 lbs in weeks. read more

Thanks to the 6-week 20-lb challenge at the Transformation Center by Body & Soul Fitness, I was able to lose 50.6 lbs and 13.0% body fat in 12 weeks. It all started when I began my first challenge back in January 5th with my husband. I lost 25.6 lbs and 5.3% body fat. We signed up for a second challenge that started on February 23rd, where I achieved my personal goal to lose at least 50 lbs with a final weight of 115.4 lbs. My husband and I have tried everything you can think of to lose weight! The Transformation Center by Body and Soul Fitness made our battle with weight loss attainable. The 6-week 20-lb program was a challenge consisting of mainly nutrition, and working out 5 times a week for an hour a day. My husband and I were dedicated to reaching our goal so we committed 12 weeks of our schedule and attended all of our 60-1 hour workout classes. We also followed the nutrition plan to the T (yes we didn't even cheat once). Our success is also because of our Body & Soul family. The trainers (Tom, Nick, Joe, Matt & Seton) provided so much motivation by encouraging us to push ourselves further with more resistance to our workouts. If you have an injury, they are knowledgeable to recognize what muscles to engage so you optimize your workout potential and will not be uncomfortable. They also make sure you are executing the proper forms to prevent any injuries. Not only are the trainers there for you with workout support, they are also there for any of your nutrition questions. Due to these 2 challenges, I am now at my healthiest and lowest weight. I can't thank everyone enough at the Transformation Center by Body & Soul Fitness for helping me transform and recreate myself into a stronger individual. Taking up 2 challenges pushed me physically and mentally. Thank you Trevor for creating this program! It works and it is amazing! It transforms anyone who is willing to make the commitment to workout and eat clean for 6 weeks and eventually make the necessary lifestyle change more permanent. Now our ongoing challenge is to maintain and keep moving forward by eating properly and working out! It was so nice to see how proud Trevor and Tom was of my husband and I on our final weigh in day. I began my first challenge just wanting to lose 30 lbs and I would be okay with it, which is exactly the problem! I began not knowing my full potential of recreating myself. To tell you the truth, I didn't know if I was going to last during my first week of the first challenge, but I stayed and kept going with my husband by my side. I can't thank him enough for keeping me motivated everyday! While on both challenges, we made a lot of changes in how we eat, and in turn have influenced others around us to make healthier eating decisions for themselves. The best examples are my parents. My dad who religiously had at least 1 can of diet Coke/Pepsi a day has replaced it with at least 1 smoothie a day. Both my parents have also replaced their candy cravings with more fruits. Most of all, my husband and I have influenced our 3-year old daughter to eat more fruits and vegetables too. I love it when she will ask, "Mama, Dada can I have some carrots/apples/oranges/strawberries/raspberries?" and so on. These changes came about due to our commitment to change our lifestyle to a healthier one. Now, my husband and I are moving forward as proud members of the Transformation Center by Body & Soul Fitness. Being a part of the Body & Soul family has been the best decision I've made this year! www.20pounds6weeks.com read more

On November 19th, 2014 I wrote up this post: For me, this challenge was about no longer wanting to look back. In high school, I was a three season athlete with a GPA to be proud of and was a talented musician in the top band for all four years at Clarence. After I made the very sudden but very correct choice to go to massage school instead of SUNY Albany, my life headed in some very different directions. I'm a comfort eater as well as an individual who lacks personal motivation; I make excuses. A long distance relationship and working full time to be able to afford school instead of having a normal college experience brought out more laziness and bad eating habits as exhaustion and loneliness set in. It has now been two years since I've graduated, and I have begun looking back at photographs and memories from high school, wondering how I used to look so good and somehow "had my life together." And I'll be honest; the incentive of being able to get my money back with the 6 Week Challenge really drew me in. I am LITERALLY a broke college student. But the changes that have occurred over the past four weeks have been major. Who would have thought I would be waking up at 6:00 am to get my butt kicked by the best trainers, Nick and Tom? And now I can't imagine my daily routine without it. Knowing how to eat well with constant support and have my morning start off with such positive vibes really keeps my chaotic work schedule from affecting me. Any exhaustion that I feel is welcomed; I know every part of my body and soul is getting stronger each hour. Thank you to Trevor, Tom, and Nick for their dedication to the gym as well as to each individual challenger and member. I already know that I have to re budget for the new year; I won't be getting my money back, but it definitely won't be because I didn't crush the challenge! I don't want to look back on my past with nostalgia and longing; no matter what is going on in my life I know that I can always be the best version of myself. I'll never have to try to "get back" to what I want, because I'll always know how to achieve what I was always mean to be! Now, on December 16th, I'm proud to say that I completed the 20 lb weight loss goal that I had, thanks to Body and Soul. Although there was the goal of 20 lbs, it was never really about that. The trainers always reminded us that it was about pushing ourselves every day, physically and mentally, to be the best we could be. Give it our all, ask for help, and be proud of the accomplishments we had made, instead of looking at what we had yet to reach. The group style training has made all the difference in my approach at working out. Having the support of others as well as the trainers pushing everyone was beyond encouraging. It was moral boosting. I've made so many friends who bring nothing but positivity to my life. And I'm proud to say, I accomplished my real goal. I no longer look back at who I used to be. I am so proud of myself TODAY. And the best part is, I know how to continue improving my life on a daily basis. I'll never see my old weight on the scale ever again. And I owe it all to Body and Soul. Because it's not a quick fix diet or workout program. It's a lifestyle change. And having the support to know I can continue improving my life is the best gift I could have ever given myself or received from anyone this holiday season. read more

When I first heard of the 6 week challenge it was from my girlfriend who has done it before. Watching her go through it I thought I can do that no problem. I decided to sign up because after looking at myself in the mirror I started to become very unhappy with the way the person looking back at me looked like. When I got accepted I felt both excitement and nervous at the same time. Excited to be able to begin a new healthy life style but nervous because I didn't know 100% what was in store for me. The first Sunday which was a fast day I was at the Niagara Falls Air Force Base working, and watching everybody leave and come back with food for lunch was hard but I stuck through the day and stayed loyal to the program. The first workout again was super nervous and was hoping I would be able to do everything that the trainers showed us. At the end of the workout I felt more tired and worn out in a good way then I ever have. I was never a big veggie eater but this challenge made me learn to eat them and now they aren't too bad. In fact it feels weird not to eat a veggie with a meal. There was plenty of times where I had cravings and wanted to just give in to them but knowing that I was on a path to a better lifestyle is what kept me going. Before the challenge I had trouble passing my PT test for the Air Force but Tom, and Nick pushed me harder and harder everyday which resulted in me beating my PT test. I had to take my PT test while only 4 weeks into the challenge and before I had a 39 inch waist and when I got measured for my PT test I was a 36 inch waist. By this time Tom and Nick would not let me do anything lower then level 2 and mostly pushed me to level 3. At first I thought I was going to struggle but was very surprised that I was able to do level 3 on about 90% of the exercises. I have always had a gym membership and before the challenge I was always under the impression that the bigger you are the stronger you are. My views since then have taken a complete 180. I am now stronger then I was while being smaller then I was. I no longer want to look like your typical "muscle head" as the 6 week challenge has made me look more "athletic" as well as being more athletic. I am a goalie in hockey and before the challenge I was able to still perform but by the end of the game be completely dead. Now my performance as well as flexibility has increased tremendously and now at the end of the game I feel energetic and more awake. This 6 week challenge has changed my life in so many ways other then just looks. It was hard at times but I FTDI and got the results I was looking for and more. All of the trainers at the Williamsville location are amazing and know what they are doing and talking about. Trust in them and they will get you where you want to be. Thank you Body and Soul for everything that you do, I don't know what I would of done without you. read more

The last six months during which I took part in 3 six week challenges, have been one of the most gratifying experiences of my life. I have struggled with my weight for as long as I can remember, and I have tried just about every "diet" imaginable. Most of them worked as long as I followed the diet, but the pounds quickly came back because I always went back to my old ways. I had been seeing the facebook post for the Transformation Center for quite some time and had even checked out the website a few times. I kept coming back to, "It would be too hard to go to the Southtowns to do this. I wish they had a Northtowns location." At some point in March of this year, I noticed that Body and Soul was in fact opening a location in the Northtowns, and it was only a few minutes from my house. I had no more excuses. I decided to go to an information session and after 20 minutes I knew I could do this. After learning about the nutrition and attending my first few workout sessions I realized that I was hooked. There were no gimmicks....all I had to do was eat healthy food, follow the instructions, and push myself to the limit each and every workout. The workouts are constantly changing and always challenging.. They are fast paced and over before you even feel like you started. The first few days were really tough, but by the end of the first week, I was hooked. I felt 100 times better than I had even a week early. I already felt lighter and stronger. The pounds starting coming off rapidly, and with each pound I felt more and more determined to crush the challenge. The trainers, Tom and Nick have the perfect mixture of tough love and support. Each day they know when to push harder and when to step back and let you figure it out on your own. They answer all questions, even those they must be asked 30 times a day, as if its the first time they are being asked, and they genuinely want you to succeed. Even on the days when I felt like giving up, they never gave up on me and knew I could succeed at this. After three challenges, I have gained so much more than the pounds I have lost. Officially, I have lost 71.6 pounds and reduced my body fat percentage by 13.6%, but I have gained confidence, friendship, support and muscle:) I have gotten rid of an entire wardrobe and have started to collect another, 5 sizes smaller than I was wearing in April. My friends and family are so proud of me, including my two young children and I am so happy that I will have many many more years with them. This is by far the best weight loss system I have ever been a part of and I would recommend to anyone. The proof is in the pounds I have lost and the strength and confidence I have gained. I look forward to continuing this journey with The Transformation Center by Body and Soul Fitness, because after all, this is the first lifestyle that for me will be sustainable. read more

I have come away from the "Challenge" with less weight and more knowledge about nutrition, exercise and myself. One of the first things that I noticed when I began following the nutrition plan was how much grazing and snacking I was accustomed to. Thoughtless eating....both when I was hungry and when I wasn't hungry. Eating for any reason; happy, sad, angry, lonely, bored and so on. Being mindful of the times of day and spaces between my meals was an adjustment as well as being mindful regarding the composition of each meal. I found myself satisfied, sleeping better, and with an increased amount of energy. Then came the workouts; I doubted my ability to do more than the Level 1 options in the beginning but soon found myself comfortably challenging myself to try Levels 2 and 3 as the days went by. The nutrition and the exercise together was really a winning combination and I successfully lost 20.6 lbs. in the 6 weeks. I was nervous about about being able to lose that much in such a short amount of time at my age. It has gotten increasingly more difficult to lose weight as I've gotten older. I have become more conscious of the health risks of carrying around too much weight and been frustrated by my previous attempts at dropping the pounds that I have gained over the years. I have arthritis in my knees and in my hands and was taking Ibuprofen daily to relieve the discomfort. I haven't taken any since I began the Challenge on January 5, 2015. I attribute this to not eating any dairy, sugar and flour since then. These foods cause inflammation in the body and really have nothing of value to contribute to my diet. I have continued to abstain from them and plan to make that a long-term change in my lifestyle. I know that there are better food choices to get the calcium and nutrition I may be lacking from avoiding dairy. I thoroughly enjoyed working-out at the Transformation Center. The guidance provided by the trainers was incredibly helpful. They always took great care in making sure that everyone was using the proper form and getting the greatest benefit from the work-out. They were supportive, challenging, warm and personable. Unfortunately, I found getting to the club and scheduling myself into classes that would work around my schedule challenging....the weather didn't help! If I lived closer to the club I would have had an easier time and I probably would have maintained a membership. I miss the "Time to Crush it" recording...can't believe I'm saying that! I am back at my former gym taking classes and have maintained most elements of the food plan increasing the variety of fish, fruits and vegetables. I am grateful that I had the opportunity to participate in this program. It has set me on a path of feeling good and looking better which was worth all of the work it took! Thank you Body and Soul! read more

First off I want to thank everyone at Body and Soul for this amazing opportunity. All my great trainers and the wonderful staff, you guys keep us going. Here is my story on what brought me to Body and Soul and why I am going to be with them forever. My whole life I stuggled with my weight, it held me back so much. I used to get teased as a kid, had a hard time fitting into clothes, always known as the heavy girl. I remember being a teenager and joining weight watchers with my mom, and thinking this is not good. I lost weight then, and then quickly gained it back. I joined again with her in my early twenties and lost almost 25lbs. It wasn't long before I gained that weight back either. Finally in 2012, after I had my son, I was at my highest weight ever. Enough was enough, I was a new mom now, and he needed me. If I didn't take control of my weight now I thought I never will. So I rejoined weight watchers for the third time and went alone. I lost close to 35 lbs and had kept it off since before joining Body and Soul. I started plateuing and needed to switch things up a bit. Yasmein Abdullah completed the 6 week challenge and I asked her about it. After I went to the orientation, I was so motivated and inspired to do it right then and there. My weight has always been an up and down battle for me and finally I was ready to put an end to that. So I started the challenge in October with Farieda Yafai. Her and I stayed in contact and motivated each other constantly. Even though we didn't work out together, and see each other all the time, we made a promise to ourselves that we got this! Throughout the 6 weeks, I met so many wonderful people, that made it fun going there every day. We are a litte family that is there for all the same reasons. At B&S, no one judges or brings you down, everyone is uplifting and wants to see each other succeed. Here you get the whole package, nutrition help, training and support system. Where else are you gonna get that all? This has been a life changing moment for me, I lost the 20lbs in the challenge! Total weight lost since my son was born is 50lbs! The weight I am at now, I haven't seen since high school. What an amazing feeling. I am a better person now, a healthier and happier Kari. I cannot wait to see my results at the end of challenge #2! If I can do this, anyone can. Do it for you and you only! I know I did it so I could live long to see my son grow up. I want to see him graduate, get married, and have a family of his own. We all have one life to live, we owe it to ourselves and our loved ones to live it to the fullest! Thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart B&S! You don't just help transform lives, you save them! read more

There is so much to thank B&S for I don't even know where to begin! I also have to give many thanks to my sister-in-law, Tina Ruggiero, because without her initial positive experience with B&S Transformations, the push for me to trust her and B&S to apply for the challenge and her CONSTANT checking up on me I would not be where I am today!! The knowledge and motivation that they inspired in myself and so many other people is truly inspirational! Their want for each and every one of us to succeed was so wonderful and gave me that much more drive to make it happen! I am not going to sugar coat or mislead anyone that I wasn't one of those people out there just wishing for that "magic pill" or easy diet that still allowed me to eat like garbage but not get fat(ter). I have tried so many diets and pills and wraps it is absolutely crazy....nothing had worked for me until I joined Body and Soul Transformations! This program takes dedication and hard work but it so completely "doable" for anyone!! I cannot recommend it enough!! There are many reasons that B&S works IF you are ready and willing to put some hard work and dedication into helping yourself AND listening to the most excellent trainers!! They give us the knowledge on how to take better care of ourselves and our bodies that will last us a lifetime! The welcoming environment, always smiling and encouraging trainers along with fellow challengers and members truly made it enjoyable going to my workouts. The workouts were hard and in the beginning my body was more sore than it had EVER been before but it felt good in a weird way to know that I really pushed my limits and was still moving albeit a little slower....hahahaha. There were days into the 5th week of both my first and second challenges that I struggled...I was just feeling bored with the same food and stringent diet that I needed some extra help and encouragement to stay on track but I did it because there is so much support. There is no coddling or sympathy dished out because I didn't need any more enabling to continue doing all of the wrong things...I needed a swift kick in the backside along with the tools and know how to get my life back on track! Body and Soul Transformations did that for me and so much more. I will never go back to that person in this before picture...ugh...going to stay strong and continue on this journey leading a happier, healthier lifestyle. So my heartfelt thanks to Trevor for creating this program to begin with, Nick, Joe, Matt, Tom and Seton for making the workouts fun but still pushing me to work as hard as I could and a little extra when I felt like I couldn't give anymore. I will forever be grateful to all of you! read more

Body and Soul Transformations is so much more than a gym. It is a family of people that want to become their best. The trainers went above and beyond helping me with my form and tempo with the exercises, answering my questions about nutrition, and helping me stay motivated. Working out in a group setting is a key factor in why this program is so successful: you're in a room with 20 or so other people that are in the same boat as you. Everyone there wants the same thing and working out with them is more motivating than I can describe with words. I formed friendships with the regulars of the 3pm session and that was extra motivation to get to the gym and work my tail off. I wanted to do well and I wanted them to have success as well and I knew that they wanted the same for me. The trainers are top notch and they all bring something unique to the gym but the common denominator amongst them all was the emphasis on exercising with proper form. Before each and every workout, the trainer leading the session would demonstrate the proper technique for all the exercises to be performed. Additionally, they would point out the common mistakes and show you what not to do to avoid injuries. Another excellent aspect of this program is how the trainers take into consideration past injuries and come up with alternative exercises to help avoid aggravating those injuries. The nutrition program is comprehensive and based on sound nutritional practices. The team at Body and Soul helped me realize exactly how many and what types of fruits, vegetables, and lean proteins to eat in order to maintain the "body burn effect," and essentially make my body a fat-melting machine. I started the 6 week challenge at 202.6 lbs. and finished at 179 lbs. and not once did I ever go hungry. To anyone who has at least 20 pounds to lose: stop feeling sorry for yourself and start taking action to affect positive change in your life. Body and Soul has already done the hard work by researching the most effective and safe way to quickly lose weight. They have also taken all of the risk out of the equation seeing as the program is FREE!!!! Yes, free. The truth is, you will lose the weight if you FTDI but something even more important happens when you complete this challenge: you become mentally strong. You stop being the procrastinator, the excuse-maker, the loser... you become confident and create your own positive self worth by putting in the work that it takes to accomplish your goals. I know I did. Trevor, Nick, Joe, Seton, thank you. I recommend Body and Soul wholeheartedly to anyone who wants to make themselves better. read more

When I first heard about Body and Soul's 20 pound challenge, I was a little bit skeptical. I attended the informational meeting to learn more and found myself totally understanding and knowing every feeling that Trevor was talking about. By the time I left the meeting, I knew that I HAD to do something and THIS was it! It was time to do something for me, be an inspiration to my daughter and most definitely, it was time to quit making excuses! I filled out the application before leaving and anxiously awaited hearing if I made it in. My journey through the B&S Fitness challenge was more than I could ever have hoped for. I set out to prove that I could accomplish losing weight, get my return and move on, but I received so much more! I have made new friends, developed a new way of life and for once, actually enjoy working out! I have not been an active person for most of my adult life. I have struggled with diet upon fad diet. I would succeed at losing the weight while following the fad's plan, but gain the weight right back (plus some!) after going off the plan as they just weren't a lifetime plan to followed. The nutrition plan that B&S has us follow, piece of cake! (Without eating cake, of course!) This is a plan that is easy to catch on to, easy to follow and even easier to find oneself making a habit of maintaining even after the 20 pound challenge. As for the workout routines, I would never call them easy, but loved every single one of my 30 sessions! Nick and Tom knew exactly how to challenge each and every one of us, and how to get me to push the envelope outside of my comfort zone. I never stayed on Level 1 for long with them around. If ever there was a medical condition taken to the trainers, they were quick on their feet to come up with an alternate step in the "zone" for the day. Nick learned early on (at the expense of almost losing fingers) that my coordination was not the greatest. Under his tutelage, my coordination has definitely improved as well as my endurance. Limitations may have kept me from "real" pushups this challenge, but I will master them one day soon! While I still have a ways to go to be "physically fit" the B&S 20 pound challenge has put me on the right track. I am happy to report that I lost 22.6 pounds and 4.2% body fat. I may need to take a break between this and my next session, but I can't wait to get back in and start again! The dedication from the entire B&S staff is amazing, and a great big, heartfelt thank you to each and every one of you! I will continue to FTDI! read more

I can't believe the 6-week challenge is over. Here are some of my thoughts about this entire process. I ran through a plethora of emotions in the past 6 weeks. I found the initial welcome meeting (AKA pep rally) somewhat daunting. Here I was in a room filled with people I did not know - being asked to let loose - stand up and cheer - shout out - and I thought to myself, "what the **** did I just get myself into?" (insert whatever 4-letter word you wish ) When it was over I walked out excited about this journey I was about to embark upon - but also very unsure about what was in-store for me. And then there was the first workout. Now I've worked out before - I've belonged to a gym before - so I'm thinking "I've got this". Well, needless to say - I didn't have it. I was breathing heavy after the warm-up! The workout was fast paced and I could barely keep up. My dormant muscles screamed at me. And a few days later when I could barely walk down a flight of stairs I again thought to myself, "what the **** did I just get myself into?" And then the first weigh-in came - and I had lost 7 pounds in the first week. It was the "ah-ha" moment that I needed. I began to look forward to the workouts - eager to see what new muscles might be screaming at me later. Anyone working out around me heard some colorful language as I pushed myself harder - thinking I needed to purchase some headbands to keep the sweat from burning my eyes. (Trevor - where do you get yours?) Each week was hard - but each week was easier than the previous one. The weight was coming off - clothes were fitting better. People were noticing and I was feeling good. I found the diet plan easy to follow - because I made it as simple as possible - with as little cooking time as possible. (The kitchen and I are sworn enemies). Granted - it was a lot of the same food for 6 weeks - but it worked for me. I also recognized that there was room for variety - I just chose not to. So the 6-week challenge is over - and what a crazy, scary, overwhelming, fun, enlightening, and empowering experience it has been. I've met some wonderful people along the way. I can't say enough good things about The Transformation Center by Body & Soul Fitness and the phenomenal trainers (Seton and Joe) that pushed me "to infinity and beyond" (in my best Buzz Lightyear voice). This challenge initially started with my main focus on getting my money back - and it ended up with me getting my life back. Thank you! read more

Body & Soul 6 Week 20 lb. Challenge I completed two challenges for a total of 43.8 lbs. and almost 10% body fat. Just think, I lost all that in a little over 3 months AND I did it over Halloween, Thanksgiving AND Christmas! I have to say that it was by far the best thing I've EVER done for myself. That was the key too - I did it for myself, no one else just me. I could always make excuses to others but I couldn't lie to myself and this is what got me through the challenge. I held myself accountable for EVERYTHING! What I loved the most about the Transformation Center and all the trainers is that they were constant reminders that I had to hold MYSELF accountable. FTDI (follow the damn instructions) and you will meet the challenge. Tom would always remind us that it was a mind set, and I will never forget that. Once I set my mind to do everything they told me "FTDI" there was no stopping me. Everything was spelled out in a way that made this plan easy to follow. What foods you could eat and what times you should eat them according to what time your workout was. If you needed help with your diet, they were there to help. If you weren't losing enough, they were there to modify your diet as much as was needed to help you meet the challenge. The trainers took their time walking you through each and every training session showing you how to do each move and there was always 3 to 5 different levels depending on your ability. If you had a question with a move or if you needed it modified due to injury - they were more than happy to help. Even in a class of 28, you still felt that one on one treatment. Every day was a different work out so it never got boring and working different muscles everyday was a huge help when the other ones were still sore from the previous day's workout. They constantly pushed you harder when you needed it and that only made you keep pushing yourself more and more everyday! I can't say enough about the Transformation Center and all it's staff. It has truly been a remarkable experience and that's because it's just a remarkable place. I can't recommend it enough and tell everyone I know about it. I hope that some of my friends reading this will sign up and take the challenge. It will be the best thing you ever do for yourself! Thank you for changing my life!!! read more
