A family of husband, wife and son run this great hole in the wall, literally. The location is innocuous and extremely special all at once. It is one of many caves dug for wine fermentation and storage. The food, filet mignon was excellent and prepared just right. Potatos tender and seasoned to perfection. Slice octopus and potato appetizer with olive oil was heavenly. For lamb shank lovers, this was VERY tender with a crispy skin. Service, phenomenal. Alberto is so friendly and attentive, never overbearing and ripe with stories (in Spanish). Highly recommend this great little piece of northwestern Spain, just 1 hour north of Salamanca. read more
