The manager is a complete jerk. Terrible vibe and with great food options on the block, it's just not worth dealing with.

Cassai is one of the most popular restaurants in the town of Ses Salines in Mallorca for good…read morereason. With a huge inside, Cassai offers enough room at the bar, the front cozy tables, some in the middle of the restaurant and some in the back- without losing its cozy feeling. Gen Zs have been putting it in their TikTok feed like wildfire and I, wanted to see what the action is all about. If you're looking for somewhere to take pics, Cassai is it. Hubs and I, were here for a lite dinner and drinks. Reservations are a dire must. If luck is on your side, you may be able to snag a high chair and enjoy your bites at the bar like we did as walk-ins. The entire style reminds of an enchanted garden with a rustic touch to it. To add to the flair, the ceiling is partially open. It was dinner under the stars for us. The mood is buzzy- yet civilized and polished. This is where you're not going to find the 'woohoo' crowd. Music is soft and airy- think Lana Del Rey-style. My Cava, Kir Royale and hubs' two slushy lemony drinks served in a Moscow Mule cup(¯\_(ツ)_/¯) were very nice. My 'Tapa' sampler (not typical tapa selections) was enough for 2 people and hubs' super moist cod fed us both as well. Service was phenomenal from the young ladies on both nights we visited. We literally had a Class A meal and drinks for under €85 our first night. Our second night though, I returned the Pulpo a la Brasa because it was tough as shoe leather. A quick mention to our server to return for a new one and they rectified it without hesitation or sarcasm. My new octopus, was soft as butter.

Our first night in Mallorca and this restaurant was on a list recommended by the brides. You can…read moresee why they love it here because the vibes, the food, and the service were great. We were a party of 6 and they took us upstairs through what felt like a maze of tables and parties enjoying wine and tapas. I already had fallen in love with the ambiance that felt cozy and intimate. We were seated and proceeded to order a ton of starters. One of the highlights were the oytsers which were dressed with shrimp, the pan con tomate, the burrata salad and the cochinillo main. Wow. That pork was divine, and we all agreed it was the star of the night. Our friendly server also recommended two different wines - a white from the area and a red. Both were great and perfect pairings with our meal. We ended with dessert which was torrejas and a homemade strawberry ice cream. I loved them both. Would definitely put this spot on your list when in Palma. It's in the walkable area of town so pop in and explore before and after.

I ordered the beef tartar which was highly recommended & this was a first for me. The flavors were out of this world & perfectly seasoned. I also tried the suckling pig (very juicy, nice crispy outside & tender inside with wonderful flavor) which sat on top of thinly sliced potatoes & came with a side salad. I was extremely satisfied & would love to go back to try other dishes. I HIGHLY recommend this excellent restaurant!
