Our flight was delayed by 2 hours, and he was there to pick us up when we landed. The next morning he took us from Ft Lauderdale to the Miami Cruise pier. At the end of the cruise, he picked us up, took us to eat, and took us back to Ft Lauderdale Airport. His van was clean and spacious. He's helpful and pleasant. BUT, once we returned we were in for a big letdown. I notified the driver when we got to the designated spot (early). But after not receiving any response and by then late for pickup time I decided to call. The driver said he would have someone come but it would be another 30 minutes or so. I told him that we were pushed to get to the airport and needed better. He told me we must give him a 2-hour notice for this. But he and I had already texted about the time the night before (and the reservation had been set up weeks before). Sorry, but reliability is critical for limo services and this was a complete failure.

The person at Avanti texted us to tell us they were on their way the day before they were suppose to be there. I called and they acted like it was so kind of them not to charge us even though they know they made the mistake. On the morning again an early flight and the right way we got notified that the flight was cancelled. We waited 10 Minutes to see if we would get a text that they were on the way but nothing so we called Avanti and cancelled. I then got charged as he was on the way. I called to complain and the guy said the first time they didn't charge us really they made the mistake I asked them to call me and waiting to hear from them.

The driver was unapologetic, simply saying they'll show up and when they show up and if we don't like it we can find another ride (at the last minute). Repeatedly being told they were 5-10 minutes away, for 45 minutes, was a frustrating way to communicate. Honesty and transparency were completely missing. They are the preferred/facilitated/recommended shuttle partner of the Hyatt Place in Fort Lauderdale, and I recommend avoiding the hotel by extension, who was not helpful in any way as the issue went on.
