Stopped in on a work trip. Ordered the double cheeseburger and fries and onion rings. Let's just say it was one of the best burgers I've ever had. And the onion rings were on point too, along with the fry sauce. Service was great, especially from the cute blonde. 100% would go back! read more

I had the Firehouse burger, fries and a chocolate shake today. It was delicious and the service was excellent. The staff even brought me a cup of cold water for my dog without my even asking. I will be back! read more

We were VERY disappointed in our meal today! It has been a long time since we've eaten there, and we probably won't be back. Unsweetened ice tea, had no flavor (brown water) Gizzards so tough we couldn't even bite into them. Staff barely interacted with us. read more

The food was amazing and the service was excellent very nice people its a nice area and a good place to enjoy a good burger and fries

When we got there it was really busy. They didn't answer the phone so we couldn't stay in our car and place an order. The drive up window isn't well marked. The food is really good - chicken strips, onion rings, gizzards, BLT sandwich - and enough for several meals! read more

Why did they change the French fry sauce ? Other than the food is always good here especially the ice cream and the fries.

Been over 30 years since I was here last Burgers was great Service was great Great value for what you get Will be back soon! read more

I called this place before I went shopping to ask if they had nachos cause I've never been here before and said I will call back when I'm done shopping to place an order. After I got done I called and they didn't pick up the phone so I called again still no answer after calling 4 times without an answer so on the 5th call they blocked my number it went straight to voicemail. I later called on my other device and without it ringing more then once I got an answer I don't know what there problems were with me but I'm not pleased. I'm also not trying to be a Karen but it's very frustrating. Also when I went and ordered at the place it took them 40 minutes to make my order of two nachos all it was, was little bits of cheese here and there and all the other stuff was just plopped on top of it very disappointing. You don't get any sour cream or salsa with it either it's very sad to think about that. read more

Great food! I ordered a special and was very happy with it. They have great choices for food.

It was overall great. The burgers were worth the price. Especially the dk burger. The only thing i didnt like was that the onion rings tasted unsalted as well as the tater tots. Ill give it four stars because the milkshakes were delicious. I would recommend this place to others, just bring extra salt lol. read more

Best place in the Yakima Valley for burgers. Everything is fresh, clean, generally very fast. Owners are great, employees courteous. Opening new outdoor seating area as well as inside seating. A Sunnyside gem. Worth the trip from anywhere in the valley. Grandchildren have the greatest memories of going there as I did growing up. Don't pass it up! read more

Just average. More burger options than the average drive in. Fries ..not very flavorful but somewhat crispy. Nice, crispy thick cut onion rings. read more

I came to Bob's to grab lunch quickly on a weekday a few weeks ago. Noting that their sign was being fixed at the time so may have had an impact - food service time was not as quick as a typical fast food joint. Unfortunately I was picking up a burger for a friend who had only 30 minutes to eat and I didn't leave quite enough time for that, so I had to tell her to find lunch elsewhere while I was waiting at Bob's. But when I checked in on my burgers, everyone was very nice and the young man served up my milkshake for me to help aid with the wait. read more

I'd love to brag on the delicious burgers (and believe me I could), but for me tho... it's the homemade, hand cut onions with tarter sauce that's keeps our family going back for over 20 years!! Do yourself a favor and skedaddle down to Bob's now! read more

Talk about hitting the spot every single time, this old school burger joint has yet to fail me. The selection is always great and the size portions is good too. Burgers have a more in depth taste to your average fast food burger because it isn't your average burger. Price may be up there but it lives up to it for sure, also has my top favorite onion rings I've ever had. Onion rings ranked #1 So if you want a switch up from McDonalds, Burger King, or jack in the box and are in sunnyside or don't mind to drive the distance. Then try Bobs cause it won't let you down. read more

I'm 39 and have been going to Bob's Drive in since I was 12. I have to say the service and the food has gone down hill. Today I ordered a special to go. I took a bite of my burger and it was old and dry... I called and told them, they said they would take care of it. I went back and gave them the old burger and they made me a new one. I was excited at first because I could feel through the wrapper that they had toasted the bun this time... Then I opened it and saw that they had purposely burnt my bun... I'm talking BURNT!! I used to work there back in 2001, and I know that it wasn't a mistake. I left a photo of that burger on their Facebook page read more

I've been going here for years and years (at least 15 years), and I've yet to find another burger place that can hold a candle to Bob's Drive-In. The "Special" is a classic, and the Super Trucker (3 beef patties, ham AND bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato, etc) is a legendary beast which my father believes can cure any illness. I tell everybody at work about this place. Their Twister Fries are amazing. Their gizzards and fried-chicken are good, too! Best Dr. Pepper on tap in the state in my opinion. I haven't found something on their menu that I don't like. This is truly where I go for comfort food. Hands down, the best burgers I've ever had. read more

Nice joint, clean, solid standard burger done well and to order. They put "relish" on it which is actually just some version of tartar sauce. I'd drop that and just go mayo/mustard (Texas style) personally. But don't let that take away from the nice patty, cheese, fresh veg, and bun. Fries were above standard but didn't wow. Overall the place has a nice feel to it with a cool sign. I tried the other joint in town, Stokes, and I liked this place better. read more

Typical drive in. Took about 30 minutes to get 2 burgers, kids nuggets, and a shake. Shake was thick and delicious. My Hawaiian burger was thin and drenched in teriyaki sauce... meh. Fries were greasy and soggy. Trucker burger was huge. read more

We ordered a double burger and a Hawaiian burger plus small orders of onion rings and tots. The burners came out so hot we needed napkins to insulate our fingers so we could hold the burger and indulge. The burgers had a great grilled flavor and condiments were fresh. Onion rings were home made and tots crispy. Well worth getting off the freeway. read more

Best fresh banana milkshake that I have ever had! My daughter and I are still talking about them weeks later. Can't wait to get back.

I love this little old style burger place. I little on the pricey side for a burger but worth it. I make it a point to stop at least once everytime I get to Sunnyside on business. Several times a year. read more

Let me apologize if you've been to this place before and you waited a long time for your burgers and fries. I feel your pain. I too had to wait a long time for my meal and I was the only customer in the building. I ordered what I have to say is the Best foot long hot dog and chili and cheese tater tots I've had anywhere in Washington state. I have to say hands down the Best Hot dog. However, it came at a cost and that cost was 25 minutes of my life. I've never had any fast food/drive in meal take 25 minutes for any reason. Plus when it came out they made no effort to apologize for taking so long. In truth no matter how good the food is at any restaurant if you have to wait a unreasonable amount of time for your food, it ain't worth going to that restaurant. It's not worth it because there's no small town hospitality going on here. They make you feel like their doing you a favor. Heck, I'm the paying customer. Be if I'm being kind and patient with you, I deserve the same regards from you. I sense a bit of complacency going on here. The owner or its manager should be teaching their manager and the other staff some customer service skills and Kitchen service efficiency. This place ain't that great. At least it wasn't for me. I don't get the nostalgia and or warm and fuzzy this place supposedly gives some people? I'm surprised it's still open. read more

Best and I mean the best burgers there is, if you want a big burger and some delicious fries Bob's is where to go. To eat at there maybe small but it feels hommie, the wait time may be a bit but totally worth the wait. read more

First time going to this place, I got the bacon burger it was pretty good. I gave it 3 stars because after I payed she told me that I had to wait 30 minutes for my order to be ready. The courteous thing to to do would have been to advise me before I ordered that way, if I was in a hurry, I could get the chance to change my mind. Also, I wanted to order a milkshake but she told me that on Wednesday they don't make milkshakes because they had to wash the machine which wouldve been more understandable if it was closer to closing but it was 6 in the evening. Also the cashier's attitude was very rude when she was explaining to me that they were cleaning the machine. Food was decent and the customer service sucked, if it wasn't for the food, I would've rated it only 1 star. read more
