I had the raspberry tea, so I went to the salad bar, which was very well stocked and looked very enticing. Everything was very good off the salad bar that I enjoyed. Before I was finished with my salads my entree arrived. The prime rib was cooked to perfection it came with au jus and horseradish. The Prime Rib was very high-quality very good tasting beef, the au jus was very tasty not too much sodium and enhanced the prime rib. The potatoes were remarkable. Very tasty. Just the right amount of garlic needed. My waiter was Bre She did a fantastic job so I was very pleased with this outing even though I had to drive almost 2 hours to get to this establishment in McGregor I would go back and take some friends along so they can enjoy it also in the future. What an adorable kid with a huge personality. We had a couple of drinks and then returned the following night to wish Jade a "Happy 33rd birthday." The duo they had performing there was fantastic. You got a lot but it was almost burnt. It had good flavors and would have been good were it not overcooked. The hash browns were ok but had a slightly off taste. As for the service. The waitress was abrupt and borderline rude. She never smiled, looked our heads when talking to us, she acted like we were bothering her. The bartender, who someone said was the owner, was snapping at her staff and snapped at two people checking into the hotel. Just not pleasant staff overall. I don't expect to be bowed down to, but a little common courtesy goes a long way. And as a heads up, they only take cash or local check. There is an ATM on site with a $2.50 charge. All in all not a horrible place to eat but far from the best.
