It's definitely a staple area on the more 'touristy' side of the lake-- just a few steps from the Buckeye Lake Yacht Club. My favorite drink for those vacation vibes days has to be a mermaid water! Turquoise tangy sweet deliciousness. They also make great bloodys. If you want the extra fixins with all the toppings you might have to ask-- if you don't want them, you might end up getting them anyway and paying extra, it just depends on the bartender or how many toppings snacks they have that day. Either way they're both good, they're just different prices. They also have different food trucks that come there-- they're really good about using social media to tell which food truck they have that day and the times. That's also where you can find the schedule when they offer live music on the patio!

I sat at the bar, and the owner, Ben, served me himself! They have a full bar with lots of creative cocktail options, but I opted for wine. Ben happens to have a deep love of wine, and he gave me a couple of sample tastes of some of the special ones he had at the bar. We talked wine for a bit (he personally sources the wine he offers at Hereinafter from all over the world). It was such a nice visit -- just chatting about wine while drinking wine -- and definitely made my night. I like my wine dry, but I like my desserts sweet, so I got the warm peach cobbler. It was served bubbling hot in a little cast iron skillet, topped with a dollop of sweet cream. It was delicious, and it felt ultra decadent to eat while drinking wine. The atmosphere at Hereinafter is classy and cool and modern with a nod to mid-century decor (there's a plastic pink flamingo at the entrance). If you don't want to sit at the bar like I did, there are also booths and tables, so lots of places to sit and enjoy a drink and a meal with friends.
