Bobby's is one of the few places in Vienna that supplies some otherwise difficult-to-find British and American foodstuffs, including things like Marmite, root-beer, Splenda, Pop-Tarts, maple syrup, peanut butter, Twizzlers, and a myriad of other British and American candies and soft drinks. (Cherry Coke! And Dr. Pepper.)
Bobby's is quite (!) over-priced, even considering the costs of packaging and shipping, and I think having my Splenda (and the occasional Twizzlers) shipped to me by friends and family is cheaper (for them) than it would be for me to shop at Bobby's. That being said, it's really nice to have a store like this in Vienna, particularly for items like Cherry Coke, which I've only found one other place in Vienna (and root-beer, even though they carry only A&C brand).
It's worth a visit, especially if you're an expat and either craving a taste of Americana (/Marmite) or just interested in checking out what goods they do offer, however limited and pricey they might be.
As Andreas said (auf Deutsch), even expats shouldn't really need anything here that can't be found at Billa under a different name/brand, although as a self-identified Splenda addict I'm glad to have an alternate source where I can get my "fix" should my supply ever run low from the U.S. read more
