a menu for different drinks

I love coming here. They don't just have drinks...they have all kinds of nachos, gyoza, and pot stickers! I can't wait to come back and try more, thank you!

This was the Spam Musubi that the vendor made. Nothing like the picture, the spam was hard and burnt.

So we have had items from other Bobablastics before, and they were fine. But this one in Troutdale has issues. The boba drinks were fine, but it took almost 30 minutes to get our order of two drinks and two spam musubi. The musubi (pictured below) was inedible. The vendor seemed to be having problems with all the orders, giving the wrong items to customers. The last time we were here, we got nachos, but even though it was ordered without the jalapenos, it was way too spicy. I'm not likely to go to this Bobablastic again.

BB is located outside of the Troutdale Station food hall.

We had a somewhat difficult time finding this boba stand. I think google maps directed us to some apartment complex a few blocks away. It's in Troutdale Station alongside a number of other food trucks and stands. I wish we had more time to explore and eat around Troutdale Station, but we were on a time crunch and needed to head to the Gorge. My bf said the brown sugar milk tea scratched the itch, but when I tasted it, I thought the tea was weak and bland and overpowered by the sugar. The boba wasn't as chewy as I prefer, and it was barely sweetened. It wasn't the worst, but it was also far from the best.

So good in fact that I had to buy it back in Beaverton because I found Jaws of Damnation, which is THE best rice lager I've ever had. So light and delicious. Perfect spring and summer beer. There are tons of food trucks there that you can get your fill. Or a pizza spot and Mochi Ice treats. (including for your pups!) I'd never been to downtown Troutdale, but I'll definitely be back. Wayfinder was great. And I want to check out the downtown. It's so incredibly cute!!

Like I say before the food cart seem to be the same price as restaurants. So this place will serve no food, but you can get food from the surrounding area and bring it into the establishment. Personally, I'm on a sour kick and they didn't have any sours available so that was a bit of a bummer but we did try two of their seasonal beers and while both were good would've personally picked them a bit different just based on the draft menu. You order at the bar, grab your drink drinks and carry them off to your seat and enjoy it with whatever food you might've purchased from the surrounding areas. It's a beautiful place and I remember it being built and it's absolutely amazing but with my personal taste preference is not my first go to.

The cutlet and gravy is just like eating at a restaurant in Hawaii. Can't beat comfort food. Their version of mac salad is not my favorite but still ok. In addition to their regular menu, they have specials. I've seen kalbi, chicken salad, coconut shrimp and huli huli chicken. Friendly service and reasonable prices. Remember to get a Hawaiian Sun drink with your plate lunch.

Nope. Nope...This is absolutely not Hawaiian food. This is a…read morecomplete mockery of Hawaiian food. To begin with, the mac was DRY. Yes, dry. Any Islander knows, Hawaiian mac is super buttery and creamy. This stuff was barely more than elbow noodles with mayo. And as for their Kalua pork... holy moly... I hope you enjoy disgusting cabbage water, because they do not flash-steam their cabbage and then set the shredded pork on top. No, they literally cook the cabbage to death like a poor Irishman from 1850, then scoop it into the box along with at least a cup of nasty cabbage water with it. The musubi was forgettable at best, with far too little glaze for the size of the musubi. And they were $4 each ($8, as you must purchase 2), which is bonkers expensive for spam, rice, a little glaze, and nori-wrap. Finally: This is nothing more than plain, overcooked crockpot pork, as that is exactly how it tasted. No island spices could be detected whatsoever in any bite. If they ever added any spices, they were likely washed off in all of that foul crockpot water. Ultimately this was a big pile of shredded pork and cabbage goop in a box with plain rice and worse-than-average mac salad. I promise -- you could make Hawaiian food far better at home as a complete novice, even if it didn't turn out very good. Yuck. So fricken gross.

One of said counters is a mini Le Petit Cafe. I ordered a marionberry macaron, and, wow. It's a serious contender for a new favorite. The cookie was crisp, light, and a bit airy. The dust on the shell was sour, while the creme filling was sweet. This gave eating it a similar experience to eating a freshly picked blackberry. Certainly one of the most creative macarons I've ever tried. It was a whole experience. I guess it was my lucky day, because as I was ordering, the Barista asked me if I wanted a complimentary coffee drink that had been made by accident. I don't even remember what it was called, but it was amazing. I think it was some kind of vanilla latte. I came back on a second occasion and ordered a 12 ounce caramel latte with a pistachio macaron. I loved the latte, but this time, the macaron was bad. It was so stale that I considered asking for a different flavor. Overall I loved the coffee but found everything to be a little high priced based on the quality. I would still stop by here for a coffee in the future because Troutdale Station has free wifi for customers, and this is the best coffee spot there that I know of.
