DAD & GIRLS NEW ICE CREAM PLACE ADVENTURE!!!…read more Wanted some ice cream on a Sunday and most places close early. We found Asian Bowl open and we found they had more than just Ice cream!!! We stuck with Ice cream and they had Boba drinks so of course they had to try that as well. Food to Value Ratio: OK, I paid 17$ for 1 scoop on 1 cone x2 and a Boba drink. This is normal rates now, but the ice cream scoop was a bit on the small side for the price. The Ambiance was nice a bit basic in the sense of nothing really stood out as WOW. Check out the pics, some anime pics, a couple boba posters and a photo spot. The pink benches were comfortable. The ice cream was good, but pretty much like any other ice cream spot around that's not a Dairy Queen, definitely better than Dairy Queen!!! The boba tea was good and the boba was not stale as some other places around the area. Service was ok, the young man was not very engaging and his customer service smile/happiness needs improvement, but it wasn't bad, just could have been allot better!!! We would go back to try some other things they had and I will follow up with future reviews if we do so. AS ALWAYS TRY IT FOR YOURSELF!!!

Edamame is available as a good protein substitute, though it would be nice if tofu was an option. Nori (seaweed) was an option for seasoning, but I was given Bonito flakes which are made from fish instead. I don't eat fish, so I had to scrape it off when I got home. I ordered a taro milk tea with crystal boba which was delicious and had a thick, creamy texture. The food is made in a kitchen in the back, and the beverages and ice cream desserts are made behind the counter. There was only one employee working the restaurant, and she was great. There is plenty of seating inside and a big screen tv playing Dragon Ball Z.

MK Boba is easily some of the best boba I've ever had. Mind you, I've tried a LOT of boba, and MK…read morejust still manages to stand out. They are a very small local business, so they freshly handmake all of their boba each week. It's the brown sugar kind and the pearls are always big, chewy and just that perfect soft texture. There's not a technical storefront for these guys, but they have a kitchen set up at Catapult Lakeland which is right along Lake Mirror downtown. I think you can visit them during the week? But I have not tried yet. They do set up shop at the Lakeland Farmers Market every Saturday and it's always a hit. They've even upgraded from having a tent stand to their own trailer/ food truck. So proud of the progress. If you follow them on Instagram, you'll also see MK Boba will do pop ups and mini partnerships with other specialty markets. Lakeland has makers markets and other things every few weeks and they'll be at those sometimes, and they even did a partner up with the Poor Porker in town where you could get boba and beignets in the same stop (it's an unlikely but magical duo). Beyond their incredible tapioca boba, the drink flavors MK Boba sells are just so phenomenal. The dirty horchata is a fan favorite, and they also make a strawberry purée that is just delightful mixed with the horchata or matcha. They've started some other specialty flavors as well, like colorful fruity teas and butterfly pea drinks. These guys are just the best, and I'm so proud and happy that they claim Lakeland as their home turf. Their service is always so friendly even though they're quite busy every time they set up, and they deserve all the rewards for how hard they work. Love some MK boba!!

If you're even thinking about trying this place just go. Seriously. This place is an absolute gem…read more From the moment I walked in, the vibe was fun, welcoming, and super cozy, but what really made the experience stand out was Eli. She was amazing. Friendly, patient, and genuinely kind, she made ordering feel easy and actually fun. You can tell she cares about the customers and takes pride in what she does, and that kind of energy makes a huge difference. And the drinks? So good. Everything tasted fresh, perfectly balanced, and just hit the spot. Whether you're a boba regular or trying it for the first time, they've got something you're going to love. And the Crab Rangoon was SO GOOD!!!!! And the cost was so cheap. This was one of those places that just gets everything right: great drinks, great atmosphere, and even better people. Eli truly made the visit memorable, and I'll absolutely be back.

Not whining, barking, or walking around. I get informed that the restaurant doesn't allow dogs but she's a SERVICE DOG. Denying a service dog is highly illegal. The only way a service dog can get denyed is if the dog is being disruptive or if the environment is unsafe for a dog. I would like to come back but if i can't bring my service dog, that is a big issue.

Family Food Adventure excitement, then…read more.. You ever want to go to a place and have tried, but they were not there when you arrived? or... Try a second time and the truck was there, but they closed 4 minutes before you got there? or... Finally get there and see so many different things that you want them all and then pick the special b/c come on it's the special!!! We finally got the chance to eat here and maybe the food didn't live up to our excitement or maybe it's just because the food was disappointing!!! They have two sizes Teenie and Jumbo When you realize the Jumbo is a Teenie, to a food connoisseur or when you realize your paying $7-$9+ for a hot dog that is a cheap charlie $2 pack of 8 dogs, it's very disappointing. Does it fill you up at least you ask, not by any means we had to go out and eat after spending $48 on 4 hotdogs and 1 pretzel. Nevermind the $23 for drinks from the brewery, only 1 being a wine, please see review of Grove Roots brewing on my page. $71 for 4 hot dogs a pretzel and 5 drinks is definitely not value for our money!!! You know I'm always looking out for our Famiglia's!!! My little one, who loves hot dogs, didn't even want one because she didn't like the options and them she saw her go to, a pretzel, when she is unsure of what she wanted!!! My eldest who is a hot dog fiend, was not too happy with their Virginian, no relish, it was cold and of course not Jumbo, I mean filling!!! The pretzel was honestly the best part of the meal, we all enjoyed a bite size piece trade deal with the pretzel princess!!! The Irish special dog had corned beef and other stuff, check the menu not worth writing it all as it was not very good. The corned beef was cold, there was very little even on it and it looked like the meat was turning, I pulled it off the hot dog and ate the rest, What a 9$ Special!!! The boy got the coney dog and said it was lackluster, the chili was cold. Mom got the Virginian with the relish and was not impressed either! This truck would be much better if they got bigger dogs and had better quality HOT ingredient add-ons for their dogs. All I can say is we will not be getting chubby from Chubby Wubby's again, unfortunately when we go to a hot dog food truck that hot dog better look like a sausage and be full of fresh & hot toppings, that's when a Hot Dog is SPECIAL!!! Maybe it was an off day, but it definitely was not as good as the other reviews stated and definitely not worth the price for a family of 5 that has to go get Wendy's after words, just to have full kids!!! This is a good truck for the bar crowd, but I would go somewhere else if you are trying to have a Family filling meal!!!
