Just coming in is a new experience, with pots moved to the back and beautiful plant arrangements up front. Inside, less stock but more space to stroll. The whole place felt. more open and I was able to find a plant I was looking for easily. Finally, same helpful staff that I'm used to. That was the best part. We are thrilled we decided to visit Madison Gardens today! We didn't have great expectations going to the former Bob Williams Nursery, as we knew there was a change in ownership, but we were searching for something specific they always carried. When we pulled up...wow! The grounds looked beautiful, organized and well stocked. Jennifer was right there to help us and was very forthcoming with information and pleasant to talk to. We drove over an hour to Moon Valley Nursery only to be told they don't carry some items shown on their website. We used Google and decided to stop in Bob Williams Nursery and found exactly what we were wanting. BWN has GREAT nursery stock, reasonably priced, friendly/knowledgeable staff, nice pottery and much more. The parking lot is large and with so many customers it was hard to find a parking spot. I guess a full parking lot means a popular nursery so our hour drive wasn't a total waste. read more

The nursery itself is nice and I've spent hundreds here. But the worker "Cam/cameron" made me never want to go back, even though I want more plants! I'll just have to take my business elsewhere. After I bought from there, I was leaving and he chased down my car, I figured I had forgot something, so I spoke to him, but he was only trying to get my number and he said there's not many young people in the area and I felt really awkward and bad so I did give him my number and it has been nothing but bad news since. read more

We purchased a lot of plants and succulents from this nursery and they recommended an employee who does landscaping work on the side..his name is mark. when he originally came to our home with a crew, he was very reliable and efficient, however, one of the projects was to put in a fountain in our courtyard/ atrium.... this part of the project has been a huge disappointment! we purchased the fountain from the nursery and he originally installed it, but did not use the correct pump and it only worked for one day, I let him know about it and he said he would come out and fix it right away... This has been one month ago! My husband paid him and his staff in full including a $250 tip, which was in retrospect, a huge mistake, because obviously he must not be ethical, and once he is paid will not stand by his work or finish his project! super disappointing, as this was one of the parts of the project I was most excited about and it has put a huge damper on the entire project! I have left him messages, where he has not returned my text and promised to have someone out last week and now we are one week later with still no fountain... Hoping that others have a better experience at this nursery and certainly if you decide to use him for landscaping, you might want to not pay him until the job is fully completed!!!!! read more

Good news, Bob Williams Nursery, Inc. Is not closing. Today, on March 2nd, 2023, Teresa and Cam helped us redesign our front yard. They found what we needed, took us to an area that had our plants in pots. My wife picked out 8 Blue Elf Aloe plants. Teresa pushed the cart up to the customer service area and took care of us. The best place for fountains. I purchased my fountain there and they installed it. I highly recommend letting them install it. It is not worth it to save a a hundred bucks and then have it not work right. I'm going on 2 years and I love it. I run it from 8 am to at lest 8 pm. The pump wants to run in order to perform. Outstanding customer service! Prompt delivery! Caring staf!!!! I purchased a gift card (that could only be mailed) from Moller's Garden Center. After 5 days and difficulty getting someone to return my call, I finally received a return call, only to be told mail could take up to 2 weeks!!! I called Bob's and they were wonderful to not only apologize for what had happened to me with Moller's, but set a gift certificate out (to my friend who had just lost her sister) the same day I called them!!!! I have been shopping at BW nursery for over 10 years and have always had great service. But I was in a couple of weeks ago and purchased some cactus plants and after checking out the clerk asked if I would like plastic for my car and I said yes. She then tossed the plastic to me and left me to carry out several flats and the plastic myself, without any offer of help. It was not busy and she was not waiting on anyone else. I have been shopping at BW's nursery for the past 10 years. They have a great selection and reasonable prices considering you're purchasing from a nursery. They also have great selection of fountains and pots. With all that said, I am super disappointed in their lack of tagging the type and price of plants and trees. However, my biggest issue is that they have very poor organization of their staff. No one seems to be assigned to certain task and it is an employee free for all. As a result, we requested 3 times to have someone lift a tree into our car and no one ever showed so we claimed the tree ourselves and loaded it in the car. In reality, we probably could have walked out with out paying and not soul would have known due to the disorganization. read more

This our favorite nursery. Great selection of plants and accessories, but the best part of shopping there is the great service from very knowledgeable people. My wife and I bought some pots there and when we got them home we decided they were too small. We didn't go back for a few days and of course we lost the receipt. Once again Bob Williams Nursery has proven to be the best one in this area. Yesterday I took an overgrown plant to them that needed re-potting, I thought, and they took it in hand. They did the re-potting for me, didn't charge me anything for doing it and were very helpful with suggestions for continued care of the plant. They are always to friendly and helpful it is well worth my drive from Palm Springs to their location. They also provide very helpful suggestions for all kinds of gardening issues. So glad we went to Bob Williams Nursery. We met Tina who was extremely helpful showing us around and we also met our gardener Jose. His company is JAG and he is well know by everyone at the nursery.
