The shop owner refused to take responsibility. I was forced to make the repairs myself, with the help of local triad shops. The owner Scott reworked the body, especially the hood, doors and rear. He found that the paint was so thin one touch with sandpaper took it down to the metal. There was little to no clearcoat in several areas. They orginally put a too little front bumper on my car, which "shrunk" in the cold weather. They broke both bezels and requested money from the insurance company, put a different color headlight and complained about the price when I noticed and they had to front a new one. I'm sure that I'm sure that I'm missing something. That was the first time around. Fast forward to the second time around. They are simply inexperienced to repair frames. They fixed the light, it is now seriously delayed when you crank the car, the hood is off, not calibrated at all. You can tell that something has happened to it as there is a gap between the hood and the fender that wasn't there when I bought the car new off the lot. While I don't expect my car to be 100%, it at least should be somewhat near. The representative attempted to adjust it, but its still off. I should have stayed with what I know, I didn't, and now I have to suffer for it. This would NEVER be a company that I come back to nor recommend. Gave a little time for my yelp review to see if there car would "shrink" again. Update: just washed my car today and water seeped under the hood. This is truly the worst body shop to date.

I made an appointment and brought the car back for the repairs a few weeks later. I picked up the car today and was absolutely thrilled with what he had done. He went far beyond what I had expected. The car looked beautiful and like a new car. It is gratifying to see someone who takes pride in what he does and obviously enjoys what he is doing. I sent pictures to my sisters to see our dads car restored to it original beauty and they could not believe how good it looks. Both said they wished they were closer so they could use his services. They do require an appointment for an estimate and I missed that appointment due to issues that came up at work. When I arrived the following day my adjuster looked perplexed and kept explaining that I missed my appointment and that he couldn't do my estimate. He asked if I called them regarding the missed appointment and I had not because I had already been told that they just needed pictures and would email the estimate the following business day. The absolute apathy and disregard I have faced from Modern Body Shop has left me embarrassed and ashamed for ever taking my car here in the first place. I have received one (1) phone call from them since giving them a $5000 down payment. At this point I feel robbed. If i never called them, I would quite literally never hear from them. each time I call for a status update, I am told the same story about some delay that's 'out of their control'. Even as I plead that I cannot afford a rental car much longer, they hold not an ounce of empathy. They have no shame for the struggle they have inflicted and still are yet to have an actual time frame for when the car will be completed. Never in my life have I ever felt so disrespected and degraded as a customer of a business. I feel scammed, cheated, and throw aside. My situation cannot get much worse, but I hope that my story can save others. Please, whatever you do, keep your car as far from Modern Body Shop as possible.

They sent pictures and a quote to my insurance and me, They talked to my insurance and the insurance called me and told me what Flow had said and what Ian's said that what they repaired. So after all that I called Ian's and they told me they replaced all 3 tabs but told my insurance they only replaced 1 tab. So if you decide to use them be prepared to not get quality work and get lied to. Stay away from these liars. Now that being said they did match the paint better than the dealership body shop.
