Do NOT go here. Read other reviews that has low rating describing what issues they had, and those…read morewere exactly I had to go through. To make this review short yet give you an idea.... They told me my front bumper needed a replacement. They gave me an estimate, and had told my insurance estimator/inspector to send a check to them directly. They did not give me the detailed invoice for the "new" bumper. And they rushed to start work on my car. I became suspicious at this point and asked for an invoice at which point they started being very rude on the phone. Their response to my request on sending me an invoice was "you think you know how to repair the car, then come and take your car!" Was very surprised and puzzled with their response in return for asking an invoice. This is when I sensed something was totally off and I decide to stop by directly to take my car back from the shop. When I dropped there to my surprise I saw my car was already in works and what was more shocking was that they were trying to take my 'original' front bumper off and scratch/repaint the same and sell it to me as new bumper!! Check out the pics. I decide to not get in a heated argument since I now know these guys were fraud and just asked them to put the front bumper back on and give it back to me. They are shocked to see me there and since I caught them red-handed they offer to do the "repair" for me "free" and they tell me not to worry about the deductible payment - "we will take care" they say! I was furious and very seriously asked them to put my car back together and leave the place with my car. I went to another place with my car who were super good and made it super easy for me. I was very happy with this second place. But overall the whole process caused so much stress and frustration, and that is not something you want to go through when you are already dealing with your Carnot in good condition, dealing daily stuff without your car, dealing with your insurance, working on payment numbers, etc. Oh and btw they seem to work these things out with the insurance inspector, so just be aware. I also felt my insurance inspector(Frank from Progressive) collaborated with agreeing to issuing the check to them and not informing me. I had to reach out to Progressive executives to file a complaint and get the payment reversed. The whole process was very disappointing and was very off putting at the time. If you want your car in good hands and avoid the mental drama just do NOT go here. I feel bad for people who may have gone here and not know what tricks they exactly pulled on them and these guys got away. Anyway at least if this helps you, I'm glad taking time writing this.

Great price, great service, they reduced my estimate by a lot. Very friendly, would 100% recommend.read more

I was told no problem, and my husband was even told that we could get a full paint job on top of the repair for only a few hundred more dollars. That sounded really good. Dropped my truck off on 01/08/2025 and was giving a 15 day time frame for completion. The end of the month came around and it was time to pick up my vehicle. When I saw the finished product, I was outraged and felt totally taken advantage of. The original color of my truck was a pearl color, when I picked it up it was completely white. They had painted over details that were originally black, there was white overspray on the windows, tail lights, tires, chrome and even the black undercarriage above all four tires had plenty of white overspray on them. Also, the luggage racks were laying in the backseats of the truck. The repair work was horribly done, while fixing one repair, they caused a huge gap in between the headlight and the bumper. There was also black finishes that were taken off after removal of tape. (I wish there was a place here to upload the photos of my truck when I arrived to pick it up). The finished product looked way worse than when I brought my truck in. When I voiced my concerns related to this unacceptable work, I was told by Issac, the paint technician, that they usually don't pay much attention to detail with older vehicles such as mine and since I didn't say to or pay for the tire undercarriages to be removed during the paint process, that was the reason why there was a lot of white overspray on them, also they can't get tape to stay on the undercarriages so they just spray the paint and the results are the results. I was so disappointed and outraged at the answers that were provided to me about the unauthorized color change of my truck and all the unacceptable attention to details that was showed on this job. I refused to pay and drive my Cadillac Escalade off the lot as it was because the paint and repair jobs were both totally unacceptable!!! The technician then blamed the district manager, Phil I believe his name was, saying that he had medical issues and didn't write up the ticket properly, but as I told Issac, that was no excuse for the poor job that was performed on my truck, older vehicle or not. I took pride in my truck and didn't appreciate the remarks that were given on this visit. I honestly would have felt embarrassed driving my truck off the Macco lot as it was. It was that bad!!! Finally, Issac said that he would reshoot the paint job to get the color as close as possible to the pearl that was originally on the Escalade and also repair the gap that he left under the headlight (mind you was not there when the truck was originally dropped off to them). Fast forward two weeks later.....time to pick up my truck. My husband went alone this time because I had prior engagements at that time. He brought the truck home, the paint job was acceptable and the tire undercarriages were painted back black, I was happy to see that; however, when he repaired the gap under the headlight, it caused the siding to come back apart (this is where the original repair of the bumper was) So now the side of the bumper repair was ruined and the technician just painted directly over it as if they were clueless of the repair, not being repaired!!! Im so baffled at what to do next. Ive already been without my truck for the most part of two months and the repair job is still not done and Macco has already been paid in full by us. This repair was half done at the Macco location at 108 Westover in High Point, North Carolina, AUTO BODY REPAIR SHOP & CAR PAINT in High Point, North Carolina

My truck was In perfect condition before the wreck I waited for 3 months to get it back and then my husband noticed that the brakes were not acting right. The brake calipers had busted and also there was a leak in the transfer case. So once again I had to take it back and they had to evaluate it to see if it was wreck related. They claim it was not related to the wreck and accused us of messing with the brake hoses. They wanted to charge me $3000 for repairs. Once I declined they said that I had to pay $500 to be able to get my truck back because the problems were not related to the wreck. By the way the brake issues were from the wheel that was hit in the wreck and the initial issue when we took the vehicle in was that the 4-wheel drive was messed up. They are not honest and they are covering up problems they caused with my vehicle. In return I am out a lot of money because someone ran into my truck. They are not easy to deal with and they do not communicate well. This has been going on over a year now. When you repair a vehicle from a wreck it should be back to the original condition once repaired. That is not the case with Vann York and they will not own up to any of their mistakes. I have been a long time customer of Vann York and I will not ever make that mistake again. Please don't trust them with your vehicles unless you want to have to come out of pocket for a lot of money to fix their issues. They don't even deserve 1 star
