What an amazing crew!…read more I have an old bike, like from a garage sale. It was making this weird thing and was rough to pedal. I assumed it was because I'm out of shape. Passing by, I just thought, "the heck, let's get tuned." I got a pristine and quick experience and for the low price of 17$ (including a new part) they made my old shooting star into a Nimbus 2000.

My husband and I give high praise to http://www.autobuslepetittraindunord.com/. This friendly small…read morefamily firm provided shuttle transport for us and our bikes to the north end of the rail trail, and also transported our bags from one B&B to another. In addition, they provided timely and exceptional assistance to help us recover from an unexpected crisis. We were scheduled to depart on the shuttle early on a Monday morning. On the preceding Saturday afternoon, while parked at a hiking trail head in VT, the passenger window of our car was smashed. Without a secure car, how could we store our excess baggage during the four days of our bike trip? How could we get the window fixed, given our tight schedule, the location, the weekend, and the limited availability of parts? Maxim, who owns and operates the shuttle service with his parents, arranged to store our extra bags in their small office, (which is a picturesque caboose at the end of the rail trail) and to have someone repair our car window during our bike trip. As a result, we were able to enjoy an uninterrupted worry-free, romantic trip, biking 200 km through beautiful scenery, and including gourmet breakfasts and dinners at each of our three stops. Thank you, Maxim and family, for salvaging this trip by providing storage and arranging repair on an exceptional basis, and demonstrating such a high standard of customer service.

Generally, unprofessional service, poor staff training. I went to Quilicot to buy MTB shoes and…read morehelmet. With limited size and model choices, I could only pick a helmet that barely fit my head. When I went home, I firstly found they charged me the wrong amount on a promotional item, so I immediately drove all the way back to get the refund on the difference (the staff didn't know tax on on the difference needs to be refunded till I told him). And when I came back home again, I put on the helmet with excitement and start imagining how much fun I would have on the trails, but the helmet just start building so much tension on my temples after 5 mins. I really wanted it work so I tried two more times later with different BOA settings to see if it would fit better (all at home). But unfortunately it didn't. So I went back to the Quilicot to return it, and the helmet was in brand new condition with all the tags attached to the unit. The manager said, 'no refund only exchange on promotional items'. I admit I wasn't fully innocent in this cuz I should have known my head better when trying it on in the shop, but I am still mad for two things they failed to do: 1. Didn't provide any expertise on the fit of the helmet, the only thing the staff said was,' you need to tight the BOA'. 2. Didn't disclose the promotional items are non-refundable before the transaction was done. They said,' the term is written on the receipt.' But it means I wouldn't know the term before punching in my credit card's password, so it basically equivalent to, 'Nice doing business with you, btw there are extra terms on the contract we didn't tell you but you signed it, so not our fault.' And this is on top of they charged me the wrong amount at first and I had to drove all the way back to get the difference refunded while teaching the staff how to proceed a refund. They essentially had two chances to disclose the non-refundable policy but failed to do so. Their solution is to get in-store credits and see if other shops have bigger sizes so they can ship it here for me. I am OK with the that cuz my goal is to get a helmet that would fit me. What genuinely upsets me is their poor customer service that directly resulted from unprofessional staff training. I just committed to learning MTB and already feel it's a tight and warm community that everyone is like brothers and sisters who enjoy the same thrills. But this experience was just so disappointing, Quilicot's staff training program certainly didn't include how to help find customers find better fit and how to run a promotional sale properly. After the helmet is exchanged, I will not go back to this shop. I will find a shop with staff who are knowledgeable and eager to help.
