Yes, buying my Villa was an experience. Buying real estate in a foreign country can be a nerve-wracking experience, and it's imperative to have a great team working for you. We started our search online, filling out requests for agents to contact us regarding condos we were interested in. Of all the agents, Michael Green jumped to the task of helping us find our condo. Beyond sending us listings, we had several phone calls so we could ask thousands of questions about how to buy in Mexico, legalities, idiosyncrasies, etc., etc. Once we found a place we were interested in, staff from his office Facetimed us from the condo so we could have a virtual tour and we could get their impression of the condo. When our offer was accepted, we flew down to make sure it was the place for us. Michael had several other properties lined up in case we weren't sold on it. Luckily we loved it, and proceeded with the sale. At that point, Michael and his team provided exceptional support throughout the purchase process. Pedro, Carmen, and Fany answered questions about the best internet service, referred us to trusted professionals (insurance, property management, maintenance, etc.), and answered any other random question we had. They even worked with the internet company to get us set up before we even arrived! Michael's staff are all bilingual and were able to help us read and understand everything we signed. Everyone is very professional and friendly. Even after signing the papers and receiving the keys, we continue to get great service. As Michael was driving us to our new condo after signing the papers (talk about full service!), he called the locksmith and set an appointment to have the locks changed the following day! I stood around outside the gate community for over 1/2 hour in the hot sun waiting for the rep to show up. My solution was to find another realtor. Got an email from the broker later promising to follow up. So I changed my rating from 1 star to 2 as seems someone cares, but first impressions prevail!
