    a hand holding a margarita

Tried a margarita from here for the first time ever and was impressed. Maybe not quite as good as La Cava De Tequila, but if you can't make it into EPCOT, this is a good bet in the area for a well-made cocktail. The prices are a bit steep, but that's Disney for you, and you probably won't find anything cheaper without going off property. The line moves quickly and the staff is friendly. I'd come back!

So this Is a margarita hut on the boardwalk. The cast member made this stop as she was so fun and energetic. Drinks are unique and tasty. Grab one and sit on the benches and watch the sunset over the lake. It sets behind the Dolphin but is still a great view.

Nice place to stop on a hot day. Taking the boat to Epcot and decided to divert to Boatdwalk and walk around. First time we've been to this part of Disney but we are always open to new experiences. My daughter wanted Italian but sadly the restaurant wasn't open, so we headed toward Epcot for Food and Wine. With scorching heat, we needed something cold, and Joe's fit the bill. Watermelon margarita for me, pina colada for hubby and a pineapple smoothie (think Dole Whip). All were good and we got to take them into Epcot on the way. The server was also awesome. She was from Ohio and we had a nice chat about working for Disney. I think I'll investigate The Boardwalk and yacht and beach club area for our next Disney vacation.

Boardwalk Joe's margarita stand sits on the boardwalk and makes a great place to get souvenir alcoholic glasses that you can walk around with. Make sure to get some roasted nuts to share with friends. Hitting Boardwalk Joes on a busy restaurant reservation night while waiting for your table seems to be the norm.

Drinking here can easily be a blur.

This kiosk on Boardwalk was the only one I really saw serving what you'd call, "real food" and by that I mean burgers, fries and whatnot. I saw a pretzel stand, but I wanted something more. The line moved rather quickly, but waiting for my food was another story. I ordered the bacon-cheddar fries. Now, I'm not complaining that I had fresh fries to eat at all, but I'm a little surprised that they had zero ready to be served at all. But also, this area isn't what it used to be so I assume they don't get as much business as before. Either way, at some point my fries were ready. They were tasty and greasy. A big puddle of grease from the bacon I believe saturated the bottom of the container. A little too greasy for my taste, but one time won't raise my cholesterol too much, will it? I paid $14 for fries and a drink. A little steep, but probably standard for Disney. It's convenient if you're in the area, but not necessarily going to be anyone's go-to.

They were generous with the steak and the chipotle mayo was just the right spice. Also grabbed a couple of corn dogs which were next level amazing. Not those cheesy little weak ones you get from Wienerschnitzel. These babies were huge, crunchy, and flavorful. Value: Not too bad. It is good food that is conveniently available in a crunch for a decent price. Overall: I'd come back again. One major word of warning they have odd hours. I think they are closed Monday and Tuesday so prepare. Sorry no pics of the food on this one.

Little Spoon is hidden inside Conrad Orlando at Evermore, on top of Sophia's Trattoria. And also how we heard about Little Spoon. We just finished brunch at Sophia's and wanted a bakery/coffee spot for fancy coffee or desserts. You'll find Little Spoon on your right if you were entering from the front main entrance, it's towards the convention space and next to the Conrad Office. Let me just start by saying I'm completely OBSESSED with this space and design. The gorgeous EVERYTHING from the space, vibe, displays and pastries. Lovely set up all in all. Even the refrigerators displaying the beverages are beautiful. My son immediately found the candy section. They also had snacks, beverages, pastries, coffee, tea, breakfast, lunch and gelato. The pastries blew me away. Like Michelin star presentation level pastries. They also had many mini wine bottles and mini liquor bottles, not travel size but half sized liquor bottles. The good stuff too. No cheap brands here. You can tell quality is their game! They also have a few seating options with tables and chairs behind Little Spoon overlooking the view in the back of the hotel. There are also two benches located by the front underneath the Little Spoon sign. Another thing I noticed is the super cute logo and excellent choice of fonts that really gave this place even more personality. Yes, I'm a font geek! Lol. We were debating driving to the other side of town to Light on the Sugar or Tous Les Jours which are two of my favorite bakeries in Orlando and I try to hit those up when I can. So we ended up only getting two passion fruit macarons which my daughters love. I saw a sign for Pistachio Cake and would have loved to try that but they were sold out. Of course. Service is wonderful here. There was a very nice gentleman who helped us and he was very attentive too. I didn't catch his name but he had a pleasant demeanor. You may see him in my photos. When we paid for our macarons, he also made sure to inform me that there is an automatic gratuity already included in our total. Wow. You don't get many places that give you a heads up on this. I feel many places take advantage of the automatic gratuity and use it as a chance to get extra if you didn't know it was already included or didn't read the small print. Just checked my receipt and I think the gentleman helping us was Pedro. Thanks for the stellar service Pedro! Little Spoon is amazing and now I wish we tried the coffee and got a fancier pastry item. Next time we're in the area, we'll have to stop by here again and really splurge!
