It was very easy to schedule an appointment, and everything ran on time, which my 4 year old son really appreciated. Frank keeps everything very clean, and the shop itself is spotless. The customer service was excellent--Frank was very patient, compassionate, and attentive. He made sure my son was comfortable during the entire visit, even checking in to see if he was okay. The haircut was detailed and carefully done, and Frank explained the process to me before starting, which I appreciated. The results were exactly what we asked for. I highly recommend Frank at Boardwalk Barbers, and we'll definitely be back next month. Thank you! read more

Highly recommend! 10/10! I have been getting a low skin fade for years here and it has been the most consistent cut I have ever had. At least 100+ have all been clean and high quality. I've been to several barbers over the years and they have been hit or miss. Never a miss at Boardwalk Barbers! Even though I go to 1 barber I have watched the others and they are all clean. Can't go wrong! read more

I had a great experience with Mo, definitely one of the best haircuts I've had. I've seen a few of the other barbers at this location when Mo wasn't available and they've all been solid, but Mo has been my favorite so far. The quality and price make this place an easy recommendation. read more

Sam is a freakin life saver. He was able to fix the nightmare another barber left me with... something I didn't think was possible with what was left. I will 100% be back for future haircuts! read more

If you want to look like a movie star, or just someone's heart throb, you need to patronize these artists located at 26878 La Paz Road. I see what Henrik and his team members always do their magic to young and older men. Me, he makes sure I get a mans' haircut which helps him do away with my 3 cowlicks! I appreciate his artistry and since he chooses his team, they too are artists ln hair. Virginia Hayter age 91 read more

Hendrick @ Boardwalk Barbers gave my son the coolest haircut, period! We moved to the OC last year and tried several places but my son was never happy with the results (don't blame him yikes, always way too short or too dorky). So happy we found this barber. Hendrick took his time, didn't rush, you can tell he takes pride in what he does. The chairs are really cool too :) read more

My husbands first time here with Sam K n gave an excellent hair cut. Professional n pleasant manner n will return.

I've been living in South OC for about a year and have tried four different barbershops in that time, with Boardwalk Barbers being my fourth stop. Two of the shops left me feeling underwhelmed with my cuts, and while the third was decent, it still felt like something was missing. Then I found Henrik at Boardwalk Barbers, and for the first time since moving here, I left with that "Wow, this is a great haircut" feeling. Henrik's attention to detail, skill, and professionalism set him apart, and I finally feel like I've found my go-to spot. The shop itself has a great vibe, and it's clear they take pride in what they do. If you're looking for a place that delivers consistently excellent cuts, look no further than Boardwalk Barbers. Highly recommend! read more

I had the worst haircut of my life today. I had a mullet going into today and was feeling great. I told my barber I just want a low skin taper around my ears and to not touch the back at all. I ended up getting a high taper fade and my mullet is completely gone. I will never go to this place ever again. Totally destroyed my self-confidence. I do not recommend anyone goes to this place read more

Stumbled on Boardwalk Barbers and I'm glad I did. Henrik is not only a kind soul but an incredibly talented barber. I showed him one photo of what I'd like to do and he absolutely nailed it. The neck shave was an incredible bonus. High value cut in all respects! Thank you Henrik! Happy to have found my barber! read more

I've been going to Ben for a bit at my previous barbershop and when I found out he left, I was bummed. When i saw he was cutting at Boardwalk Barbers now, i followed. Ben's attention to detail is out of this world, he is a master of his craft! You won't leave disappointed. read more

Georg has cut my teen son and younger son's hair a few times now. My kids always have very particular requests about their "flow" and Georg listens, offers recommendations and always nails it. This is a friendly neighborhood shop with a welcoming vibe. Making appointments via the online tool is quick and easy. Highly recommend! read more

This is such a wonderful place with top notch people both professionally and personally. My son never liked haircuts, but going to this place was what we needed to deal with this situation. They were so friendly, and treated him so well, giving him the best haircut he's ever had. My son is convinced, and so are we. Facility is new and super clean, and the experience was too refreshing not to share it with others. Thank you guys! You are the best! read more

My son and I came in here for the first time this weekend and we both got really high quality cuts. Cameron asked a lot of good questions about how we wanted the haircut to look and he listened very carefully to make sure he understood what we were looking for. I was really impressed with the results. A lot of times, I will ask barbers to cut the sides short into a fade and leave more length in the top and it's very rare that it comes out the way I asked. Cameron did it perfectly, just the way I wanted it. We will definitely be back here next month! Thanks Cameron! read more

Ben is the GOAT. His attention to detail and professionalism are unmatched. I get a fade/beard trim and lineup and no one does it like Ben. If you're looking for a perfect haircut and good conversation with good vibes come to Ben, you'll leave looking better than ever! read more

First visit was a big win! Cameron was my barber and absolutely crushed it! I showed him a picture, he worked his magic and made it happen. Clean, bright plenty of TVs and easy conversations. I recommend using the online booking thru the website but they do walk-ins as well. I've tried a few different barbers in the area and I think I've found long term spot! read more

Super stoked on my fade by Cameron! Mos def recommend hitting up Boardwalk!! Good looking out Cam!

So glad I found this place a few months back. Two great locations in my area. The owner and the barbers are so friendly and meticulous. They clean up all the unwanted hair around your neck, ears and eyebrows. They finish off your haircut by shaving your lower neck and upper shoulders. You feel like a new man when your done. It's totally worth paying the extra $5-$10 more than the average price at the franchise places like Super Cuts or Fantastic Sam's. read more

Booked my cut with Cameron last time I was here and loved the experience, I'll be back for sure!

I switched to Boardwalk Barbers earlier this year and I plan on being a regular. I've seen Cameron twice and he has hooked it up with a quality cut both times. Highly recommend this spot for anyone in the area. read more

First off they take appointments on line. Their staff are professional and know their craft especially Hendrk and Alex. They just opened in the Target Center and have a top notch look to it. They are old style in some ways with straight razor neck trim. I wish them well in this added location the other being in Mission Viejo. read more

Henrik did a great cut on my son. We showed him a picture of what we were hoping for and left with exactly that. He has really thick hair and we have had a really difficult time finding a barber that can cut it well. He left one shop almost in tears. We will definitely be returning here. read more

Been here a few times and each time they nail it. I've been to all the local salons and other places to get your haircut but nothing beats a barber in my opinion. These guys are professional, know how to keep a good conversation, and are super easy going while not sacrificing quality. This is my new barbershop. read more

Best place for a haircut! The service is outstanding and one of a kind. I'm new to the area and from word of mouth, this is the place to go! This barber was quick and reliable. I tried them for the first time about a month ago and I'm happy with my cut. I will be back.

Worst experience ever!!! I went in hoping I found a place for my 4 boys to finally get a decent cut but I was so wrong. The guy who cut one of my sons shaved his head after telling him I wanted a 2 on the sides and scissor cut the top taking a 1/2 inch off. I have never shaved my boys heads and was very clear on my instructions. I got up in complete shock and asked why he shaved it and then proceeded to yell at me telling me I needed to trust him that he wasn't done and it would be good. He also told me it was my fault because I didn't show him a picture and he wouldn't expect a women to know how to tell him to cut boys hair. I'm sorry I have plenty of experience and knew exactly what to tell him. They don't know how to cut hair with scissors they only know how to use clippers. The lady who cut my other son used a comb and clippers. No scissors in sight. She didn't charge me but you better believe he did. My son left crying and hysterical because he was in shock that his hair was gone and how ugly he looked. My second son left with a V cut and no amount of gel can fix that. His cut is the classic side side swept bangs by his choice. I was again very specific in how I wanted it cut. You can see from the pictures that is not what we left with. Called and left a message for the manager/ owner after he got back from vacation and never received a call. Horrible cuts and the worst customer service. Check google reviews I'm not the only one who has had a bad experience. read more

This place is amazing! I'd been a long time customer of Boardwalk Barbers in MV so when I knew they opened a location in Aliso Viejo, I had to take my kid and show support! Perfect haircut for my kid! I always say, a man has to have 3 pros to depend on: a mechanic, a butcher and a barber. Boardwalk Barbers of Aliso Viejo is a go to spot for every man! Go check it out! You won't be disappointed and you'll be a lifelong customer. read more

Worst haircut ever. Asked for a trim on the sides and got them completely buzzed off. I wanted half an inch off of the top and the barber cut about an inch and a half off leaving nothing but frizz on the top. Didn't blend the top into the sides either. Completely horrible do not recommend. read more

I made an appointment at the new Boardwalk Barbers in Aliso Viejo. The new place looked really nice. Very clean, and pretty but in a very friendly atnosophere. I walked in to get a haircut from Henrik. The owner and Eric came in right after I sat down. Eric walked up and introduced himself. We talked while Henrik got set up As I was the first customer of the day. Henrik did the usual great job on my hair and I recommend giving them a try. If nothing else stop in for a friendly game of chess. read more
