I feel like the place a whole lot of fun for painting and adult things to do. Came for a kids…read morebirthday party the ages of 7 years and older. Now for a 7yr old. You would like to supervise and watch your child learn how to paint. But the rule for a group party if you're not painting you aren't allowed in the back. They consider that "spectators" not allowed. So your invite to a birthday party you would have to leave your child to paint by themselves or paint with them. You can't just watch. For a kids birthday party you shouldn't have to leave minor kids ages 7 alone due to some policy they have. I felt like the way the instructor came about this wasn't so considerate. Just put a bad taste in my mouth to not ever have a birthday party booked here. During the booking the place could have notified the person booking and let them be aware of the policy is before having a kids party. We all could have been aware warned when we first walked in.

Caitlin is probably the most experienced and best teacher I have encountered in a painting class…read moreand I've been to several. I simply told her I wanted something Broadway themed for a private event for two and she gave me 5 choices. With Les Miz being a favorite show I had to go with this one. I was very worried as hello fabric with lights and shadows and a human figure. But she walked us through each step and taught us many new techniques I've never learned before. Her studio is attached to her home but is very professional with all the tools and supplies needed. She did a great job teaching such a difficult painting and was a complete joy to be around. Will definitely go again.

The spot itself can hold up to about 40 people. It is a little tight but it works. You can bring your own snacks and beverages. There's a table in the front for you to set them and I guess as long as you let everyone know that it's yours no one else will eat it... We just kept it on our own table since we have people that did not make it to class. We started late-about 30 minutes and we ended late. It appeared that we were waiting on a group of about 6 ladies. It gave us time to get our wine and cheese together! The directions that show up online are incorrect. They told us to go to south 9th but the address is actually the one listed on this post. This was a grand opening so maybe that's why. Anyway, great time and I would definitely recommend it!

Um, no...we were all on time so let's get this party started. I don't really care for doing 2 different paintings in one sitting because you have half the class just sitting there waiting. I understand it gives more variety, but it just felt rushed. Overall we had a good time and we are likely to go again but I iust ask to start on time. The folks who are late can just play catch up when they decide to show. ;)
