I am sad I left my phone in the car and wasn't able to take a picture of the new machine for y'all. I did 2 different different transactions. I did the 1st one the traditional way-by putting my card in the machine, which was fine, I just wish at the end of the transaction it would've popped my card out a bit to show me I was good to take my card instead of just saying on the screen "please take your card" with no movement of the card in the card reader. With my second transaction, I tried the tap reader for my card, but I couldn't get it to work so I ended up having to use the first method again. I'm not sure if it didn't work because of user error or because of the glare from the sun. I do have to say I like the upgraded machine, but it did take me a second to figure it out.

Fortunately, many of the same employees stayed there through all of the transitions, which made it nice because I didn't have to reestablish relationships. I love this bank because it's local, they know your name when you call or come in . They're very professional and extremely knowledgeable in banking. I would like to reference the manager, Rick, who is exceptional, friendly helpful and always there, If something comes up that needs an answer. I love working with Lyric and Emily, especially after my husband passed away, and there were so many things that had to be taken care of with relationship to my bank accounts. I love the fact that I can call them and talk on the phone. They know who I am talking f I have any questions or need information. Many of the banks in Carson City treat you like numbers, they don't know who you are. They don't form personal relationships with you, At least that was my experience with helping friends with their banking situations . Every year they have a customer appreciation event with food which is very nice to be treated so well. Lastly there's always chocolate or some kind of candy and bottles of water, that's not the only reason I bank there, but I can tell you it certainly is nice to have a treat while you're waiting for your transaction to be taken care of. I pulled up behind that customer as they pulled away and went to make a deposit when she informed me they were "closed." How can a manager pick and choose who to serve after closing hours? She stapled the receipts and put them in the envelopes when she was finished and said have a nice day. Considering the several decades that I have been with US Bank with only 1 minor issue in almost 30 years so I didn't check her work and left. For 3 weeks now, I have now been dealing with trying to find almost $1000 of missing money I handed her, get the cash payments put on the correct cards and the interest taken off since I gave enough to bring both cards to a 0 balance.
