Just so you know, I work in this building so maybe a little bias but saying that if you don't work here you're probably unlikely have enter this building (unless you are a member of BMA).
So the building mainly houses the BMA and also the sister publishing company, BMJ. It also host some tenant companies as well. There is a great courtyard with a fountain and statues, this holds a lot of history. This is also where the private memorial service for the 7/7 bus victims is held (the number 30 bus explosion was right outside this building) every year.
I know the BMA offers up many of its rooms for hire and having had meetings in most of these rooms, it is really a lovely building and set up. The company has hired an in house based catering company who specially does all the food (they are called Baxter Storey) for events and meetings.
Overall, this place has a long history, is a good space, great architecture and titbit, Charles Dickens' Blue plaque can be found on this building. read more
