I figured my taxes would not be as complicated as his, so if they could handle his, they could certainly handle mine. The first two years, I owed money. The accountant worked with me to figure out work expenses etc that I had overlooked, which resulted in less money owed. I appreciated that. Last year I got a refund, likely because I became a homeowner. This year I am expecting the same. They send reminder emails with checklists of important dates and what to include with your return paperwork. They have an online portal where you can upload documents confidentially. Or, you can drop off your paperwork in person. I usually just drop off all my stuff in an envelope. I'm not a fan of scanning and uploading, I'd rather make the drive down there. They have three locations; I use the lake eola location. Beware, the map of location on yelp is wrong- I have submitted an update to the location which should take effect soon. Tax returns have historically been returned to me in a folder for my safe keeping. But last year they started providing everything in an electronic format. This year should be the same. My taxes have become complicated by mortgages, loans, stock payouts etc. I'm glad to have these guys on my side. The downsides - there is no north Orlando location and there is no drop box. So documents must be dropped off during business hours.

Everything can be done via email and a convenient online portal for keeping all your docs and records. May took me every step of the way, answering all my questions (via email because that was easiest for me) and helping me know which tax docs were necessary. Her fee was totally reasonable ($150) and she filed the returns for me (and got me a pretty penny back!). Besides that, I wanted some financial advice when it came to stocks and tax implications of selling them or holding them. For that, she scheduled me in for an in-person meeting and was really helpful with advice and knowledge on my specific questions. I paid her separately for consulting, but the rate was reasonable for piece of mind. Overall, I'd highly recommend this company. And I have! Service requested for filing taxes not completed. I was told they would file taxes and i should get…read moresomething in the mail from the IRS. It never showed up and I made several phone calls to resolve the issue and didn't get any resolution. I checked my IRS account and it shows as not being processed. So I got a refund for the amount they charged thru my bank. Now I have to file on my own or pay someone else. I I formed them if this and if they should choose to resolve the issue I will then render payment. But until then I am extremely upset at there lack of work ethic, lack of quality customer service.
