This is one of the best spas I've ever visited. It's like a magical purple cavern inside with lovely relaxing music. They call it a "Thermal Experience" which is supposed to last three hours and involves spending time in the sauna (very hot), the larger saunarium (mixture of dry and wet heat, not quite as hot), crystal steam room (smells of lemon and.or menthol, giant jacuzzi, tepidarium (lovely cool room with heated tiled sunbeds, laconium (milder steam room with heated tiled seats and pomegranate infused air), and lastly the hydro pool which has a selection of different jets to sooth and massage your muscles. The staff are always very helpful and attentive on arrival. You get given a locker which is locked with a code. Towel, bottle of water, and flip flops provided. Hairdryers also readily available, and straighteners on request. Shampoo, conditioner and shower gels all in shower rooms. This is a lovely relaxing experience. Admittedly, a very expensive one, but we were lucky enough to nab 6 week summer memberships last year and this year which provides access at a much reduced rate. On this occasion, it was a wedding gift treat :) The spa really is wonderful ... my only criticisms being that the jets in the hydro pool don't always work, and these last couple of weeks, the steam room hasn't been working with the steam coming out sporadically. I've also been a user of their small gym. They offer a cross-trainer, rowing machine, stepper, and exercise bike. There are also free weights ranging from 1kg - 10kg with one adjustable bench. There really isn't much space, especially for more than two people but every time i have visited, it's been just me. I never took advantage of the beauty or therapy treatments so can't comment on that, but I'm sure they are amazing - again just very pricey. Massages seem to start at £80. All in all - would definitely recommend! read more
