I had a wonderful experience at Blush Bridal Salon! My stylist, Amber was an absolute dream to work with! I made an appointment not having a clue of what I was looking for or what styles would work best for me. Before arriving, I went through their extensive online inventory and added every dress I thought I might like to my wishlist. Somehow, Amber was able to look at my nearly 50 dress wishlist full of different style dresses and decipher exactly what I wanted when I had no clue. She brought me around and showed me the dresses she thought I would like best. She really listened to everything I said about each detail I liked and didn't like, and then we picked the 6 best to try on first. I tried them all on to be sure, but ultimately, I could not get over the second dress she pulled for me! She was so patient, kind, and helpful! She never once pressured me or tried to sell me on a dress, which was so, so important to me! The dress was perfect for my destination wedding in Mexico! I can't say enough good things about my experience here! I didn't have an appointment, but after striking out at two other dress shopping appointments I decided to stop by and see if they would take me. They did. And working with Amber was a dream! Not only was she super nice and helpful, there was "the dress" that was too small for me to try on but I HAD to see it on someone, so she tried it on for me! Now that's going above and beyond! It's extremely unfortunate that I'm having to give this review. When I originally came in for my fitting, my attendant didn't help me into my dresses when trying on. When I found THE dress, I ordered the size the attendant recommended. When the dress came in, I was so excited to pick it up. When I put it on, the dress was massive. No part of the dress fit me anywhere. The try on was very anti climatic and super disappointing. In addition to the $2,000 dress I purchased, I will now have a pretty expensive alteration bill as my entire dress has to be restructured. If you choose this store, be sure to try on a dress in the size they recommend you purchase as it seems like multiple people have this problem with this dress shop. read more

Just went with my sister, who is getting married, to look at wedding dresses. The girls working there were really friendly. They offered us water and mimosas. Then they had a large selection of dresses to choose from. The areas for girls to try on the dresses are spaced a good bit a part, so you don't have a ton of people on you when trying on. The inside of the store is beautiful and the area to try on dresses is comfortable. The women we worked with wasn't pushy and listened to what my sister wanted. She was helpful in creating the perfect dress as well, by listening to my sister's concerns and putting together a dress that matched what she wanted. They made the process really smooth. read more

I went there for my friend's bridal shopping last weekend. The person assigned to show us the dresses was super paciente and kind. (I believe her name is Anna) She got the perfect idea of what my friend (the bride) wanted and we found the one in that visit! (And actually had to cancel the rest of appointments in other boutiques). I appreciate the fact that she wasn't pushy at all! She didn't put pressure to "sell", and gave options when the bride was undecided... even when the mother in law asked her to bring a dress totally different to the style of the ones the bride wanted and was a little "too excited" about it, Anna brought it and managed perfect the whole situation. The place is small but not too crowded, they have a good variety of prices and styles. I liked that it is a small boutique with a cosy environment, and the prices didn't seen too expensive. They gave us drinks which was a perfect treat during a summer day in Louisiana. Once the bride picked the dress, the store got her a cute bag with a t-shirt and a tumbler as a gift... nice detail. If you are getting your dress here, be aware that they don't do adjustments to the dresses, though there's a taylor shop next door and they'll do it for you. (I'm assuming that's what most brides do, because literally is next door and you just walk there. We did it). It was a very pleasant experience! read more

So sad to have to write this. Myself and two other bridesmaids ordered our bridesmaid dresses ($288/each) from Blush. Based on our measurements, the attendants told us we needed to order dresses that were several sizes larger than we wold usually wear. For example, I'm usually a size 4, and the attendant told me I needed a size 10 dress. She assured me they ran large and that that was the size that matched my measurements. When our dresses came in, they swallowed all of us. They weren't just a little large, they were so big that we've had to restructure the dress completely. One girl is losing the pockets because that's how much fabric has to be cut (and the pockets were one of the main reasons we ordered this style!) I spoke with the owner of Blush and she didn't apologize and wouldn't cover the cost of our (expensive) tailoring, not even a portion of it as a sign of apology/goodwill. She explained that they have a size chart from the dressmaker and that that is what they follow, which makes it clear to me that they don't know the product they're selling or how to guide bridesmaids in ordering dresses and didn't understand how the dresses actually fit. If it really is the dressmakers fault, then they are working with a dressmaker who doesn't have concern about product, so much so that they have completely screwed up the measurements they say certain size dresses are versus what the dresses measure to when you have them in-hand. These dresses are now costing us nearly $400 each, and they aren't even going to look exactly how we wanted. I'm really disappointed that Blush didn't seem concerned, and I doubt they will prevent this from happening again. (Sidebar - One of the bridesmaids was measured AT Blush - the rest of us are out of town and were measured at other shops and gave our measurements over the phone. When she brought that up, I said "Oh! Ok, well can you reimburse the girl who did get measured at your store?" and she said no - it was clearly just a line to make this seem like it's somehow my fault, even though at the time of ordering we all pushed back and thought those sizes sounded ridiculous). read more

My appointment was back in November, and it couldn't have been any more perfect. Do not be turned off by the exterior! (They are remodeling it soon) The inside of the shop is very nice and inviting! The staff were all very helpful and nice! I had Shawna as my consultant, and she was absolutely amazing! She was very bubbly and upbeat. Shawna and Ingrid were absolutely amazing and catered to our personal needs, making my daughter's first wedding dress shopping experience a breeze! The shop is very personable, quant and very chic! I've gotten 2 bridesmaids dresses here and I don't have any real complaints about the establishment or what they carry, they have beautiful dresses, that's why they are getting a 3/5. But I do have a complaint about Miranda who filled my order for my most recent bridesmaid dress. For someone who wears a 26 in jeans and solid 6 dress (aside from bridal items I know sizing is different) I was recommended a size 12 after my measurements were taken. I then asked for a 10 because having to take in a size 12 to a size 6 would look absolutely ridiculous. My bust for this dress was between a 6/8, waist a 12, and hips an 8 (which is why I said a 10 because having to get the bust taken in to a 6 like I said above). Upon picking it up there is a note written on my ticket from the employee saying "recommended a 12, asked for a size 10. Says she's loosing weight" and THAT right there makes me want to give them a 1. I suggest whenever you make notes for your account MAKE SURE IT DOESNT GO HOME WITH THE CUSTOMER. I understand if you recommend one size and they go against that and then don't like the size that comes in- insurance/proof you suggested the correct size, I get it. Just have the decency to keep those notes in your account and not going home with the customer. And FYI my waist is down to a 28 so a size 12 would have fallen off of me and been an arm and a leg to alter. read more

Upon arrival I was definitely a little put off by the exterior of the shop however that completely changed when I met my consultant, Jessica. She was fun and the most attentive consultant I had been with. She brought my friends and I drinks and was quick to help eliminate and find new dresses according to what I liked and disliked. .She stayed with me a long time (2 whole hours!) and in that time she made me fall in love with two dresses and did a fantastic job accessorizing them. I am the mother of the bride. We had appointments at 3 other bridal salons and none even began to meet our needs or expectations. After hitting dead ends, disappointment and frustration I found Blush Formal and Bridal Salon on Yelp and called and asked if it was possible to get a same day appointment as I live in another state and was only here for a few days. Miranda was very accommodating and gave us a 3:30 pm same day appointment. This was a Friday and Saturday was fully booked. Considering the quality of service we received, do not expect a same day appointment. We were very, very lucky that we got in. That said, this bridal salon is where we should have started and is a wonderful full service salon with very competitive and reasonable prices. I was impressed that Miranda inquired as to my daughter's preferences when I scheduled the appointment and was fully prepared when we arrived to gather gowns with my daughter, listening attentively to her wishes and desires. Miranda stayed with us the entire time, devoting her attention to my daughter only, assisting with dressing, fitting, and accent accessories to customize the gowns to my daughter's liking. My daughter found the wedding gown of her dreams, it cost $300 less than a gown we would have settled for at another location, the alteration price was less, and most importantly was the way we were treated. Here we were, last-minute arrivals, and we were treated like we were the most important customer of the day with respect and generous devotion to servicing us. This was also the only salon that offered mimosas, champagne, and water. I hope anyone who reads this will start their search at this salon, and I most highly recommend Miranda as this young woman has great energy, is very attentive to the bride's needs, and made this day, finally, into the fairy tale dream experience it was meant to be. read more
