I called in to this much talked about bridal boutique to pick up some ideas for my mum. As she is going to be a mother of the bride very soon I wanted to get an idea of the range of sizes, colours and styles stocked here. The staff were friendly enough and they pointed out the new range and told me that there were bargains to be found in the older stock. Everything is just displayed together with all sizes on one rail. I would have found it easier of the dresses were arranged either in colour, style, designer or size. The lady informed me that we would not need an appointment and that they get new stock in all the time. I will call in here with my mum very soon and have another look - there is an order time of several months on some dresses so I would advise you call early if you are more particular. We went here to choose a wedding dress for my best pal, and we definitely experienced a better quality of service at other bridal shops that day and the rest of that week. When choosing my own dress, I also went to other less 'sophisticated' places and were treated better and given more time and space to choose. We were ushered into the private dressing area, with the most gorgeous array of gowns lined up along the wall. The girl helping us was doing her best, but she was quite young and I didn't get the sense that she was confident enough to make suggestions and that she didn't read my friends personality - which I think good salespeople should be pros at. She didn't pick up on the fact that my friend was quite unsure of what she wanted, and was hoping for some suggestions. What I really didn't like was the order that we were only allowed to try on a certain number of gowns....I was really shocked. I had heard that some boutiques do that, but I wasn't expecting it here as the whole look of the place is very professional and glamorous. To be told you only have so many chances to find 'that dress' is very limiting and kind of bursts your bubble. I think anyone who is serious about finding thier dress will know if they've hit the end of the road, and they are hardly going to try on 20+ dresses are they? In other establishments we were offered tea and coffee, soft drinks and even champagne while we waited, but there was nothing like that here, and there was a real sense of a production line, with the next group of brides and bridesmaids waiting hot on your heels to get in. I am about as far away from the prospect of marriage right now and even if I wasn't I'd not really get what I need in here, as I wouldn't be the bride! I did however have the unfortunate task of going here with my sister when she couldn't find any females to go with her. I'm not sure why she thought I'd be any help at all, but hey! It has a very good reputation of stocking all the best, designer gowns for her big day. Everything was magically expensive, but I don't think money is an object when it comes to places like this and the people who shop there. read more

i'm writing this review on behalf of my mother, who received such rude treatment from a member of staff today that she was inclined to leave the shop rather than even try anything on. My mother was browsing for a mother of the bride outfit, for my sisters wedding next year. When she wandered to the sale rail, selected a dress and mentioned to the member of staff she would like to try it on. She was told that the dress 'would never fit her' and was asked loudly 'what size she actually was' as she couldn't possibly believe she could fit into a vaguely marked 'medium'. Then demonstrated that the dress would clearly fit her because she was an 8! My mother politely excused herself and left from sheer embarrassment. I'm not sure what this store believes to be good customer service, but I'm quite sure this wasn't it! read more

Very disappointing. Had paid £15 for the private appointment with light refreshments as this was the first appointment for wedding dress shopping with my mother in attendance and thought this would make it feel more special. Expected maybe a glass of 'bubbles' (cava would do!) at that price and instead got instant coffee and a Mr Kipling French fancy. I appriciate that many bridal shops are given sample sizes by their designers and that they cannot request a variety of sizes (I have been told at other boutiques since that this is not true) but not much available to try on larger than a size 12. Why would anyone take a chance and order a dress that they can't try on? Many of the dresses were also of a very similar style and not much variety of shape or fabric. Staff were pleasant but not particularly helpful. Left the store embarrassed and annoyed. Not what you want when shopping for your wedding dress. There are many better options nearby. Maybe give this one a miss. read more

I went to Blush to purchase a wedding dress but I did not like my experience from the minute I walked in. I got the impression that because I didn't arrive in a farrari, I was immediately at a disadvantage! The sales assistant was clearly not very interested in me at all, she left me for a good 5 minutes to go and talk to a customer who was purchasing a non wedding dress next door. I could not get the wedding dress on and was there on my own trying to work out how to put it on. Someone here reveiwed that this place was the one place that didin't make her feel like they were trying to make a sale, well I think it is because they simply couldn't care less! The lighting is awful as well! Unless you have a few spare million sitting around, i would avoid at all costs! Try Forever in Finaghy instead! read more
