Oh my goodness, I'm so glad I'm moving my business elsewhere. I just spoke to the rudest customer service representative over the phone. She interrupted me and spoke over me more than 5 times as I was trying to get information about an external transfer that I had scheduled yesterday and that did not go through as of this morning. Service has definitely deteriorated with the hiring and failure in training of customer service people who are rude and do not provide the correct information. The inability to accept transfers from PayPal happened without notice. All this feels so fly-by-night and the apology from Vito Z just feels like cut-and-paste text/lip service. I have not felt like a valued customer in a while. I'm getting better value and service at my new financial institution and have been impressed with their professionalism and respect for my time at every step. read more

Service is amazing!!! I feel well protected by BluPeak. It is as if I have a personal assistant doing all of my banking. I recently had my credit card denied, and was able to call the bank who wanted to make sure I was the one using my card. Who does that??? Online banking is a breeze, it has been months since I actually walk into a bank. I have been with BluPeak for over 20 plus years and have no complaints. Job well done. Keep up the good work!!! read more

Applied for an account and have not heard from them for weeks. I liked their philanthropy but seems like they're not real. read more

Mireya Jimenez and the entire staff are extremely professional and courteous. I would recommend this Credit Union to anyone!

One of the best experiences I've had with any bank or credit union. Jendayi is a star she was friendly and attentive to my specific needs and gave me suggestions and choices to suit my needs. Thank you read more

My experience with BluPeak Berkeley is mostly with the manager, Mireya. I have been consulting with her for years and am always impressed with her very quick and accurate assessments of questions/tasks that I bring and is always thorough and patient in spelling out answers. There have been chilly tellers over the years, but I try and overlook that. I have also really appreciated that Mireya is a salt of the earth kind of person and not interested in putting on airs or glad handing customers. She's a financial institution find. Thank you Mireya for your many years of great assistance! EPV read more

I love this credit union. The staff are fantastic, professional without being stuffed shirts, and starched pantihose. If I hit the lotto for millions, we are sticking with them like fly paper. They are indeed the bees knees. read more

I have had an IRA with them for years. Trying to get the money out and rolled over to Roth IRA was met with incredible obstacles. I was told my account was inactivated because it was dormant (IRA's stay untouched until time to take our RMDs so of course it was dormant), and would need notarized documents to even get access to my own account! The online login functions are hopelessly messed up and requests for assistance get met with obfuscations. I am sorry I ever started with this institution. read more

BLUPEAK CREDIT UNION HAS BECOME A TOTAL DISASTER! What on earth happened to Blupeak?! I'm extremely frustrated and irritated. They've completely gone downhill. They no longer have their USE credit card and sold it to some corporate finance service called Elan. Imagine a credit union doing that! You now cannot access your credit card on their mobile app but must log-in separately into Elan Financial services. In addition, I tried calling Blupeak customer service 5 times today and even tried all the numbers on the tree branch but nobody ever came to the phone after waiting at least 20 mins. again using all the numbers on the tree branch. One of them even said it's a 3 minute wait but after waiting 30 mins. I hung up! Then when it said to hold your place in line and they will call you back after entering my phone number as the recording requested nothing happened, I heard the muzak again as if I was waiting. A total screw up! After being a member since 1982 this has got to be the WORST they've ever gotten. After 42 years I will be closing my account with them soon. BLUPEAK CREDIT UNION HAS BECOME A TOTAL DISASTER! read more

What happened to an otherwise former well run Credit Union (USE Credit Union)? Since becoming Blupeak it has become a grand mess! They discontinued the USE Credit card (except debit) and transferred to a Company called Elan. After beening informed that a new card would be issued in March (it was not issued until mid-April), and told that Blupeak no longer is response for any transactions regarding the old Credit Card which was discontinued on April 9, 2024. Blupeak stated that Elan had all the old information regarding the former Credit Card. Not true. Now stuck in limbo not having a statement from the old credit card, except the balance, nobody has the statement for me to review. Of course, I am to pay for a non-disclosed statement. Try calling them, and hope for a call back if requested. I am done. Goodby Blupeak while I still have funds to pull out. read more

The absolute worst Credit Union, bank, or business, period! Do not trust your accounts or any business with them EVER! I have had the very unfortunate experience of them holding my car loan. My father cosigned for me, but I have paid every dollar. They will NEVER talk to me directly, even when I called to pay off my account. I over paid from my checking account and they will only reimburse my father. 2 weeks after I got the payoff on my car, they continued taking out my auto payments and when I called to complain, they didn't even follow up with me and it's been over a week! This is a poorly run, horrible banking institution that has no business being in charge of anyone's financial dealings! It's been 6 years, and I have not had a single good thing to say! Each time I have an interaction, it causes stress and brings out levels of anger that are completely unnecessary. I pay the bill, my name is on it, and they make it impossible to navigate and they refuse to speak to me. Even when I have my father on speakerphone with them, they will not even answer me if I ask a question. They will only respond if he asks. Sickening! Ugh.. blood boiling again! JUST DON'T!!!!! They should have all licenses revoked and the doors should be shut! read more

I recommend not banking with BluPeak. In the last several years, after banking with them since 2013, my debit card got fraud on it four times, and my credit card once. In the case of the last fraud incident, neither BluPeak nor it's security company, flagged the fraud. After three days of having thieves drain my bank account of $1,400, I discovered it myself. I was compensated. I've now shut down all of my accounts. I have also had shockingly unprofessional customer service experiences with multiple tellers at the Berkeley branch, as well as the branch manager. Last June, the teller who was dealing with an incident of fraud told me NOT TO TRUST THEIR SECURITY COMPANY, and to only deal with fraud directly by coming in person to the branch. She then erroneously shut both my debit and credit card down, when only the debit had been compromised. I literally heard her say "woops". This is an unsafe, unprofessional, and, in my opinion, sinking ship. read more
