Hired Brian to rep me in an RMV hearing. As others have stated I did the majority of the paperwork…read more He simply scheduled my hearing and called me the day of. Fast forward after the hearing and I'm in the process of doing paperwork for the RMV, I have a serious question about sections pertaining to dealership information and insurance information. I'll let you all read the correspondence I had with Brian. ME: "Hey Brian, all set with the permit. Im going to schedule a road test today. What's the process for getting that done? I was told I need to register the car." Brian: "Yes - the vehicle that you use for the road test must be registered and insured." Attorney Brian Simoneau ME: "Okay, I'm working on the reg and title application and understand I cant drive a car in this state without registration. How do I fill out this form?" Brian: "What form?" Attorney Brian Simoneau ME: "Registration and title application. " Brian: "You answer the questions on the form." Attorney Brian Simoneau A lawyer I paid $1500 dollars to assist me in obtaining my license back answered my question with "YOU ANSWER THE QUESTIONS ON THE FORM." Brian, I don't know if you're overwhelmed at the office or if you're just ready for retirement, but to respond to a person like that is utterly unprofessional and down right rude. If you're overwhelmed with work, maybe take on less clients. At this point and after the whole ordeal of, like others have said, one word answers and me doing most of the leg work I terminated his services. I paid him $1500 dollars to schedule me a hearing and call me on the day of. Mind you the hearing lasted two whole minutes. After his last email to me I would not recommend his service. Side note, I had half a dozen hearings with the RMV on my own and the ONLY reason I hired a lawyer was because I was tired of the run around with the RMV. If you go to an RMV hearing without a lawyer, if you have ONE T not crossed, they deny you. You show up with a lawyer they approve you in two minutes. *UPDATE* I just got off the phone with my insurance agent. She told me "Do not fill in anything on that form unless you are in front of the RMV official. If you do they will not take it." So I guess "You answer the questions on the form." was the WRONG answer. *update* I decided to reduce to one star. That treatment just doesn't sit right with me.

I did get a appointment pretty quickly so that was good. The counselor I meet with seems to be the owner so that means a lot. He also gave me a free consultation. It's a good size office that has a small town feel. Think Erin Brockovich. Walking in you see a well laid out office with a nice board room at the center of it. I also noticed the many letters of thanks this office has from a ton of different people (Lawrence's Mayor, other people who have hired this JD) companies, and nonprofits. It clear that this firm is well respected in the community and holding that reputation is important to him. The JD is pretty straight forward and talks to people normally and not in a whole legal jargon that gets people confused. 4 stars because I have not seen him in action yet or what his understanding is of certain laws.

Anne and Maya are simply amazing…read more I was unfairly terminated after two years as the community manager of a 55-and-over property, even after successfully facilitating the long-desired sale of the community. I was also denied the bonus I had been promised once the sale was completed. Before the sale, I had been overworked due to budget restrictions and forced to take on multiple roles to keep day-to-day operations running. I believed I had a case, but after contacting multiple attorneys, I kept hearing the same thing: "We think you might have a case, but we don't have the resources to assist you." I was close to giving up--until I decided to try one last time and reached out to Shapiro Law. In our very first conversation, we discussed my situation, and by the end of the call, Anne confirmed I had a case on multiple counts--and she immediately went to work. Throughout the process, Anne and Maya kept me informed, showed patience, demonstrated deep expertise, and treated me with compassion and respect. They made me feel valued and assured me that I mattered. They fought for me and won back what I had earned and was wrongly denied. I'm so grateful I reached out to them. I highly recommend Anne and Maya to anyone seeking attorneys who truly care about people--not just the size of the settlement. They are true advocates for their clients. Thank you for everything, Scott

Worst estate planner in Boston. The firm is owned by David Sorgi. The man is pushing 80. He is…read moreslow, forgetful, and incompetent. My sister and I are currently filing formal complaints with the Bar Association in Massachusetts and the Attorney General's office due to David Sorgi's bizarre and unprofessional behavior. Unfortunately, before my parents could fire him, they were both severely injured by the COVID vaccines which ultimately led to my father's death and the rapid deterioration of mother who is still alive. My mother has instructed David Sorgi on five different occasions to release all documentation to the custody of me and my sister so that we could get our sizable estate in order. However, David Sorgi, for reasons unknown, has repeatedly refused to release these documents Despite being told verbally over the phone on five different occasions by my mother to release the documents. He then forgets within 48 hours and the entire process must be started again. Simply arranging a phone call between him and my mother is challenging given my mother's disabilities. To make matters worse, Mr. Sorgi has made no effort to update my mother's 15-year-old will, even though there is over $20 million of additional assets that are still not listed. He hardly ever responds to phone calls or emails. My sister and I also believe he is conspiring with my younger brother who has recently used my father's death to seize control of the family finances and is essentially David Sorgi paymaster now; Which would explain David Sorgi's reluctance to finalize my mother's last will and testament and comply with our requests to see the Trusts As we believe they favor my brother. The last will and testament that David drafted 15 years ago, granted the executor of the estate, godlike powers, and the ability to cut out any other family members if they protest in anyway. Despite my mother's assurances that the estate will be split three ways, David Sorgi has made it impossible to confirm this information And he seems hell bent on preventing us from examining these documents. He also has made no attempt to draft or finalize a second Last Will & testament to account for the $20-plus million worth of assets. My sister and I are currently speaking with law firms simply to retrieve the trusts that David Sorgi was ordered by my mother to give us. As incredible as all this sounds, it is 100% true and it would appear David Sorgi is suffering from Alzheimer's or some type of rapid mental degeneration.
