The chocolate is still made by the same family that has owned the shop for generations. This chocolate shop has drawers of chocolates to sift through. This used to be a button shop for the royalty. The drawers were full of buttons that the royalty could pick from to be on their clothes. Now the drawers are filled with buttons of delicious chocolates. The staff was extremely helpful and very pleasant. Besides, who could be sour in a chocolate shop. It was some of the best chocolate we have ever had. We are keeping the hot chocolate mix for our trip to Tahoe later this year. It will be a way we can relive our amazing trip. I wanted to say thank you to the staff for being so friendly and helpful in selecting our chocolate. I gave it one Euro sign, but you could easily get carried away in here. We spent over $40 of chocolate because we knew we weren't going to be back anytime soon.

After all, you really are paying for an experience and an investment piece. I was hesitant to stop by this boutique as I've heard of other shoppers' unwelcoming experiences here. Nonetheless, here's a snippet of my time here: My husband and I came by a few minutes after the store opened as our hotel was very close by. Already, there were a few other patrons inside. A few people were there to simply pick up pre-ordered items while there were also those browsing. Already having my eye on a Chanel Boy flap bag, I glimpsed at the various display cases. Eventually a sales associate did offer to help but ended up handing me off to someone else. This was actually much to my favor as the second SA was much more helpful. She listened to my thoughts in what I was looking for and brought out multiple, newly delivered pieces just to see how I'd like them. After comparing several pieces, I decided on my bag. She also assisted me with the costume jewelry and small leather goods. Again, offering to show me many pieces that were not necessarily in the cabinets but rather, in the storeroom... until I found pieces that I was really happy with. They didn't offer us any champagne or drinks as other locations sometimes do, but overall, I'm happy with my purchase and pleased with the experience. I'll be stopping by next time I find myself in Vienna!
