I decided to take a walk over to Friedrichschain and check out Blumenladen Blattwerk. It was a beautiful day, and the florist was sitting outside at the cafe next door. When she saw I was interested she came in to the store, and I explained that I needed some flowers for my host. She put together a beautiful summer bouquet, and we talked a bit about the weather and the neighborhood. Overall it was a great experience, and if I ever need flowers again, I'd definitely go back.

Whenever I buy flowers here I worry that they could not possibly look that good in my apartment... the mark of a successful business, I suppose. How the outside of the store is decorated, with crates and plants is just as inviting as being inside. It's nice just to go inside, loop around, take in the plantscape, and stroll on through the day...
