We jumped in the car and "flew" to the hospital arriving at 4:45 pm. Sat down at the registrar's desk and proceeded to get registered. She couldn't locate the orders. So I called the doctor. After a few minutes the fax came in. It's now 4:55pm. Lab closes at 5:00pm! No one around. The registrar, MAGGIE, went above and beyond. Located someone to get my X-ray done. Only when his primary sent him for a CT snd a trip to the hospital found where he had had 2 strokes caused by undiagnosed Afib! How does a cardio dr miss Afib!?! For months?!? Please do your own due diligence when being referred to a dr. Needless to say my dad will not be going back to this person for anything!

My Doctor sent in a referral to perform two MRIs with and without contrast. After failing to reach…read morethe vein in my hand to inject the "dye", I was told by the tech that the MRI without contrast looked good. I never received the contrast MRI. I wasted my time because my neurologist requires the images with contrast so another referral was put in on the same day but to have the MRIs he initially requested (with and without contrast) performed on base.
