Stopped back in to check out a few things and I was greeted by Alan and Sophia who helped with answering questions, showcasing new products and prodiving information as well as education on the hottest trendy items to come into the store recently. That's the reason I love this location, all the staff is very helpful and have great attitudes. It's one of the reasons it's become my go to over other places like Ultra. They are always stocked beautifully and have a wide variety to choose from. Alan is always super helpful and at the ready to assist with any customer questions/needs when helping both myself and other customers. Sophia greets you with a great smile and good conversation starter to find out more about your style or interests. I'm always impressed by how wonderful the store looks and sometimes when I come in on Weekends/Sundays there's a nice lady there named Rachel (I think) who really knows her stuff! You can tell she is a veteran in the beauty field. She works magic with the way she blends and the looks she creates for customers. I've had the pleasure of watching her work and people are always impressed by her work. This whole place is fantastic and I can't say enough good things about them. I hope if there's some kind of recognition they receive it, they definitely deserve all the kudos and praise. They are a dream team with exuberance and willingness to help with a smile and friendly atmosphere all around! Got everything I needed and was on my way in no time. The store was bright, clean, and well organized. Everything was fully and neatly stocked, and the displays made finding my desired products effortless. The sales associate was super helpful in helping me to find the right size of the product I was looking for, and after my purchase she threw in some really amazing samples: ones that are good for my skin type/tone and ones I can actually use. I received a gift card so I decided to apply it toward a (basic-level) facial. I had a very relaxing experience, as well as a very good facial by Jas; as a walk-in, no less! Jas was very kind, skilled, and was informative about products without being pushy. Following my facial I realized I hadn't brought my makeup with me, so I asked if I could get my makeup done. Rachel did my makeup and did an AMAZING job! I don't wear heavy makeup and was a little worried that I'd look overdone, but it looked natural and very complementary to my skin tone and features. I've had trouble finding the right foundation to match my skin FOREVER, but Rachel's choice was spot on. I told her I wanted to go outside and home before I bought any of the products she used so I could see my face in natural light and in my own bathroom. It was still on point, so I will be returning tomorrow to buy the products. Rachel and Jas not we're not only skilled at their profession, but also very informative and pleasant. Multi part review-- This new location has made me such a happy beauty junky!! SPA services: Amanda is amazing!! She truly takes her time to make sure that the services that she performs meet your skincare needs. I have received a fusion facial (heavenly), modern facial, and peels done on a problem area on my back- all of the services were professional, relaxing and affective. My skin has never looked better!! I used to do all my own waxing services in the comfort of my own home- however, I now have Amanda take care of that for me. For the excellent price point, professionalism and convenience -- it's a no brainer. Retail: The manager Allie and her team are so kind, knowledgeable and inspiring. The first time i came to this location Allie made me feel like Beyoncé!! She helped me match my foundation shade with the best brand for my skin (Bobbie brown serum)!! She was SO knowledgeable and kind to me! TotallI will definitely be back! The second time I came Jessica helped me find the PERFECT BRONZER for my skin it's lays very evenly and I wouldn't of ever tried it if she had not helped me (St Barth's Nars). She knows about ALL the products I was lucky to work with her! I will from now on ONLY spend my money at this location (because the girls who work at wildwood location are horrible) but everyone is nice at Pike & Rose (see Jessica or Allie for sure)! Make sure you do your due diligence and babysit the staff! I called twice (once to book an appointment for myself and my bridesmaid) and again to confirm my appointment for my wedding. The day of I called to let them know I was running a few minutes behind schedule only to find out I was never even in the system. When I spoke to one of the staff members she was incredibly rude and proceeded to say that they have a specific protocol for brides so there was no way I could have even thought I had an appointment. I would hope that if a bride is in need on her wedding day an establishment would do all they could to: 1. Be kind and courteous 2. Be helpful. Even if they were short staffed the young lady on the phone could have been much kinder and apologetic for the mistake rather than blaming the bride who literally has been planning this day by herself for months. Left a bad taste in my mouth and very disappointed. This place needs to learn some customer service. read more

I had a fantastic experience! I made an appointment with the Bluemercury spa to get a Bikini wax. Amanda was performing my service and was very professional and super thorough. She made me feel instantly comfortable and kept checking with me to make sure the pain wasn't to intense. She also sent me home with a few samples to prevent in grown hairs which was super helpful. Bluemercury uses hard wax which is much less painful than the strip and is better on sensitive skin. Their spa area is clean and quite and the staff are all very friendly. My only complaint is that I wish I could make an appointment online or through an app like with European Wax Center. I'll definitely be back and plan on making an appointment for a facial soon! read more

I walked into an empty store with 2 sales associates and neither one of them greeted me. A simple "Hello, how are you?" would've made me feel appreciated as a first time customer. A few minutes later, another customer walked in and was greeted. I think they need to treat people equally and learn good customer service. I probably would have bought something because I was excited to finally shop there but I walked out empty-handed due to the lack of customer service. read more

Went in today to buy Moroccan Oil sunscreen and was given one that expired 8 months ago. This is the second time I was sold expired sunscreen that is cleverly concealed with the price sticker covering exp date. Also bought a lipstick that was different color than box stated. Inventory is dated and staff is spaced out and has no product knowledge. Will not return. read more

Amanda is just the best esthetician ever! She takes her time to be sure you're fine and also makes you double check just to make sure you are happy with the result. She's sweet and very professional, her work is perfect all the time! The store is also gorgeous. Very luminous, always clean, the staff is always smiling and ready to help. I ordered a product from Pike and Rose store, since it was not at Wildwood store. I ordered a lip gross, but instead I received an eye cream. In stark contrast to my awful experience at the Blue Merc in Bethesda Row, THANK YOU Rachel for taking such good care of me at the Blue Mercury in Pike & Rose yesterday. When I walked in you were busy with a previous customer and said, "Be right with you." You were all smiles. You knew your products and had great suggestions. The result: I bought two products in addition to the lip liner I came in for (and tried to buy at BM Bethesda Row). I'll be back and buy again from Rachel.
