All went well until the appraisal was in at $215,000 instead of the $221,500 offer. I offered to pay the $5,000 difference but the seller would write a $1,500 check to Matt to make up the difference. Matt said the seller agreed. Then the day before the closing Matt wanted a $1,500 check from me to close the sale. Also at the end of closing I was showed a map that gave a ten foot easement to any buyer of the lot adjacent to my property. This 10 foot easment was two and one half feet from my house! I was never showed or told of this until I was showed a map at the closing at Pitt and Frank!!
