They teach far more than just karate. They always correct with kindness and assure the kids that they are capable of anything. Since the covid crisis, they have been offering multiple weekly online classes, both group and private settings. Really, the flexibility of the staff is amazing. We are finally back to having in-person instruction, and we are so excited! They are very clean and organized and have gone above and beyond to keep everyone healthy, safe, and well taken care of. My daughter has went to Eun's for four years and is now working toward her 2nd degree black belt. She has developed a level of respect, confidence, discipline, and leadership that benefits her in school. Eun's is a fully accredited with the Kukkiwon world TKD federation. With his said, this is not a place to drop off your kid who is exhibiting behavior problems and expect instructors to correct them in two hours per week. It only ends up disrupting the other students in the class.

Students…read moreadvance regularly at 3 month intervals as long as they come to classes and practice, with minimum six months between black belt tests. Master Eun is still as wonderful as he was on our first day and he teaches every class except on very rare occasions when another instructor fills in (but they teach just like him). The higher degree black belts (4th +) he has who help test are just as encouraging as he is. They practice with the kids before testing begins and help them do their best. Testing is about showing off what they know, not humiliating them for any lack. It's always encouraging even if the kids feel stressed having all eyes on them (understandable! But no shame ever comes from the leaders). Master Eun is big on teaching leadership, humility, and respect and he models those values, too. I'm still so glad we became involved with EMAC! The kids have made many friends here and they see them outside of class time which is a blessing!
