They teach far more than just karate. They always correct with kindness and assure the kids that they are capable of anything. Since the covid crisis, they have been offering multiple weekly online classes, both group and private settings. Really, the flexibility of the staff is amazing. I found the Senshi Karate Dojo over the internet, and after little research I realized that it is actually as close to kyokushin as it gets. I met Sensei Ross last Friday, and started classes this Monday. Sensei Ross Conklin is very knowledgeable in many styles of karate. He has experience in Shotokan, Isshinryu, Kyokushin, and Gojuryu. That is a well rounded teacher that will give you a well rounded teaching. I have trained Kyokushin in Bulgaria originally since the age of 10. In Bulgaria I trained with some of the top fighters including the Kyokushin World Champion Shihan Emil Kostov, then I trained in the Kyokushinkaykan dojo in Manhattan under Shihan Gorai, then under Shihan Kenji Fujiwara in Connecticut, and over the years I have trained with people ranging from almost any country in Europe, Russia, USA, Japan, South Africa, and I can honestly say that Senshi Karate Dojo is providing a traditional well rounded Karate training as should be expected.
